Agatha McGrey’s disappearance

 

 

Agatha awoke to the sun wandering through the cracks of the leather curtain. She rose slowly, stretching her arms yawning. Moving the curtain around her bed out of the way, she slowly slipped her feet into the fluffy slippers that awaited her at the side of the bed. She got up and walked to the floor to the wall mirror and smiled at her own reflection. “Ok Agatha, today is going to be a very good day,” She said, walking towards her en suite bathroom. Using the toilet and washing her hands, she brushes her teeth and walks out of the bathroom and into her room to change into her clothes for the day. Reaching inside her cupboard, she picks out a grey dress with a soft grey petticoat. She struggles to get the dress out and rings the bell for her maid.

“Yes, Miss Agatha?” The maid, Margaret, walks in and sees the dress half in, half out of the cupboard.

“I can’t get the dress out, it’s the corset you see. Daddy said he would make my cupboard so big, I would be able to walk in and pick out my dresses, shoes, and umbrellas!” Agatha exclaimed. Margaret nods curtly.
