I couldn't sleep that night, I thought it was the high temperature
But then I felt cold, my lips turned blue and up my spine I felt a weird shiver
The curtains swayed in the sudden breeze and the whistle of the howling wind
Travelled through the tiny cracks in the wall with the sound of flapping wings
I sat up rocking on the bed, I sensed something so wrong
Out went the lamp, a dismal atmosphere, a deathly taste on my tongue
A ghostly swift flew right by, a faint whisper in my ear
Asking me what I mostly like and what I mostly fear
Shaking, freezing, terrified, a soft stroke I had felt
I replied “Peace and Death” and that I do regret
The depraved voice hissed it is my time, Peace and Death to me it shall give
But there is so much I've yet not done, for so much I've yet to live!
From the left ear to the right, the voice echoed, so slow
I panted breathlessly, so terrified, I begged the thing to go
The Black Angel had come to take my life, it did not give me a say
i struggled fighting for my life as it sucked my soul away
No one to help me, I struggled for my life, a battle I fought alone
Which I did not win because claws like this foe is what I did not own
My soul it did suck with a tint of my blood which leaked through it's evil eye
A tight fist it held, my body it did geld, it felt pleasure in taking my life
Once more I tried to save my life whilst a grasp of my soul was still in me
But no chance did I stand, it hissed out its snakelike tongue like my soul was so tasty
I could hear nothing but the twisted sound of melody and wail
I could see nothing but blurred black wings and my hands, so cold and pale
No chance did it give to me to say bye to the ones I'd miss
The beats of my heart inhibited as the last breath escaped my lips
