Life is not what it seems, like on TV. They make life seem like a fairy tale, but it's not. Where I grew up, is full of hate and stupidity. You can't walk a block without seeing crack heads, drug dealers, pimps, prostitutes, including gun shots in the middle of the night. I never associated with the outside world, after my mother was killed in a drive by. I felt like I couldn't go on without her. I was left to raise my two little sisters and my baby brother. My baby brother Alexander, 6 months; Melissa, 12; Allisya, 14; and I, 16 took it very hard. It has been very hard to raise them by myself because my father was in and out of our life.
Going to school was a drag, I had all AP classes. I didn't really talk to a lot of people. I would say I had a hand full of friends. Every day I would wake up at 5’oclock and clean up the house. By the time I was done, it would be 6:30 and I would have to wake up Melissa and Allisya to get ready for school and get Alexander to day care. Melissa would wait in front of the house until her bus came. Allisya and I wait for the city bus every morning as our transportation to get Alexander to day care. From the day care me and Allisya would walk to Lady Doves High School in North Carolina. At the end of school, Allisya go to cheer leading practice with her best friends. I would walk to the day care to pick up Alexander and catch the bus home.
There is so much noise going on outside, no one on my block could sleep. I turn to the clock to see that it is 7:00 in the morning on a Saturday. I get up and go outside to see a new family has moved in across the street in front of my home. Because I am such a nice person I have to go welcome them into the neighborhood. As I approached the new family they were happy to see a face they remember.
“Hi, Mr. and Mr. Johnson it’s been a long time since I have seen y’all.” I said in a happy way, to see people that I remember from when my mom was six months with me. They were a close family friend. To my surprise they were even happier to see me than I was to see them. “Oh hi sweetie, I didn't know that you stayed over here.” They said in unison. “Where are your mother and father?” “My mother is dead and my father is in and out?” Just the thought of me saying that wanted to tear up in tears, but I fought it back.“I’m sorry sweetie I didn't know.” Mrs. Johnson said as she gave me a tight hug, I couldn't do nothing but cry. After I calmed down a little, I had to ask, “Are you moving down here?” “Oh no sweetie, it’s just Jacob and Johnny, they wanted their own privacy, so we are given it to them?”
After they told me that, I ran inside to see my two favorite guys. They were unloading their stuff and putting away their clothes. Jacob who was 19 stood 6ft7 with a creamy tan that had dark black hair that was in a ponytail. And Johnny who was 14 stood 6ft3 with pale skin with blonde hair just like his mother.

I was happy to see Jacob, but I didn’t know Johnny just yet. “Is that little old shrimp from the suburbs?” He is so fine. “Hey Jacob, how have you been?” “Good and you?” “I’ve been alright, what made you move over here?”I asked him trying to get as much information as possible. “I wanted to live where nobody would know that I was rich and so I can save my money, what about you?” He looked so good when he was talking. “Well, I stay in front of your house and I’m raising my brother and sisters…so it’s been kind of crazy without my mother.” Just looking at him made me want to melt. “I’m sorry to hear that but I would love to meet them and you can meet my little brother Johnny he’s 14…Johnny!” “What do you want Jacob? Hi there beautiful, what is your name?” He is too cute and funny. “Hi, my name is Allison.” “Well it’s nice to meet you Allison, not to rush you off, but, I have to finish unpacking my clothes.”
“Well we have a lot to catch up on, you know.” I said. “Well we sure do, but I guess it will have to wait until later, due to the fact that I have some unpacking to do ha ha.” “Well after you and Johnny are done, you can come over and eat dinner with us, so we can catch up, Deal!” DEAL! He shouted.
Jacob (P.O.V)
I felt someone's presence in my room. I was to see her in along time. We chatted for a few and next thing I know, is that I'm on my way to eat dinner.
