Kevin- I think it’s enough Ross.

Ross- I have told you many times not to distract me while counting.

Kevin- How much share are we going to give to the poor?

Ross- We’ll keep enough money so that our meal for the week can be arranged easily. And this time no beer.

Kevin- What the hell Ross!

Ross- No Kevin. According to my calculations, we’ll be keeping 27% of the money stolen.

Kevin- Fine.

Scene- 2

(At home)

(Phone ringing)

Ross- Pick up the phone Kevin.

Kevin- (on call) Yes Mr. Officer?

James- I am coming tomorrow night 2 AM. Keep something to eat.

Kevin- Sure. But we won’t be sacrificing our lovely dreams for you. So, for a moment forget that you are an officer, and enter the house like a thief, and without making much noise have your food.

James- I always enter like a thief Mr. Sleepy. It’s nothing new for me. Just leave some food for me, and not those over baked cocoa chips, please!

Kevin- Fine. You completed your mission?

James- Yup. Five minutes before the deadline. Ok see you tomorrow.

Kevin- Bye and make sure that our night doesn’t get disturbed because of you. Otherwise I assure you that your task force agency will be brutally robbed by us.

James- (laughing) Ok fine, bye.

Kevin- Bye.

Ross- (calls out loudly) Dinner ready Kevin!

Kevin- Coming, don’t you dare start without me, you hungry dog.

(at the dining table)

Ross- (while eating) Can we go distribute the money tomorrow?
Kevin- No, they must be hungry.

Ross- (shouts in anger) Then eat fast tortoise.

Kevin- I can’t it’s very bad.

Ross- Shut up!

Scene-3

(Warehouse Street)

(Kevin and Ross giving food and money to the poor.)

Poor – God bless you child. May your every wish get fulfilled.

Poor – You both do a lot for us without any greed. Thank you.

Kevin – No. it’s what make us richer.

Ross - Let’s go Kevin. Bye everyone, we will come next week.

Scene-4

(House of Steve Edison- secretary of external affairs and defense department)

Steve – (Shockingly and angrily). My goodness! (On phone). I want strict investigation now.

(An hour later)

Police- Sir, it is clear that the intention was to steal money only. Do not harm anyone.

Steve – I don’t give a shit! I just want them in the locker. I mean it’s nearly impossible to get in my house. So much security and locks, how is it possible?

Police- Do you suspect someone?

Steve- No. It’s the work of some highly experienced and professional thieves.

Steve – (On phone) Task force agency?

Agency – Yes.

Steve - I am Steve Edison, Secretary of external affairs and defense department. Has James Clarke returned to Sweden?

Agency - No sir. He will be here by tomorrow at 2:30 am.

Steve – I don’t care. As soon as he reaches, ask him to meet me at my house. Is that clear?

Agency – Sure sir.

Steve – Good.

Scene -5

At the airport

(James stepping off the plane)

(His phone rings)

James – (On phone) Yes. This is James Clarke speaking.

Agency officer – Sir, Mr. Steve Edison has ordered you to meet him before you get home.

James – What! I mean I have just landed.

Agency officer – Sorry sir. Strict orders.

James - Fine (in a disappointing way).

Scene-6

(At the house of Ross and Kevin)

(In the morning)

Ross – Good morning Mr. officer.

James – Good morning. May I have a cup of tea?

Kevin – Wash the cup and have it.

James – I am fine without the tea. Hey, what are you eating?

Kevin – Juicy Alphonso.

James – Give me some.

Kevin – Come and peel it and have it.

James – I am not hungry. thank you. So where did you go yesterday to steal?

Ross – A house of a corrupt government official.

Kevin – You know what, so much security there. For once I thought your team would catch us with proof.

James – Don’t worry I am back. I will catch you next time with proof.

Kevin – James, I think you have been dreaming this for a year or more.

Ross – (laughs). Whoever does bad for good are accompanied by God. You can’t catch us.

James – Fine. I lost.

(James mobile ringing)

James – Hang on guys. (on phone) Yes?

Steve – Mr. James, you were supposed to be at my home last night.

James – Sorry sir. I was tired and it was not a part of my duty that I have to keep your words. I can meet you now, if you wish.

Steve – You better get here on time today.

James – We’ll see. (cuts the phone)

Kevin – So, where are you going now?

James – To a corrupt official. (smiles) See you later.

Ross – Take some fruits on your way back home.

James – Fine.

Scene-7

Steve’s House

(James knocking)

Steve – Come in. (sees James) Come Mr. Clarke. Glad you are on time.

James – Yea, my mistake. So, what’s the case?

Steve – Mr. James, two days ago, my house was robbed by some thieves. The reason why I called you is that there was so much security, still they managed to enter the house peacefully. This means that they are very smart, and they have got so much money from my cupboard.

James – Black?

Steve – (Hesitating) No, not at all. What are you saying Mr. James?

James - (Smiling) Fine. I will start the investigation from the evening, and one more thing, decide whether you want to call me Mr. James or Mr. Clarke.

(leaves the room)

Scene-8

(At the Kevin and Ross’s house)

(James is sitting on the sofa and thinking about something)

Kevin – What happened bro?

Ross – Who dumped you?

James – Nothing. Just a case.

Kevin – And what is the case?

James – Mr. Steve Edison’s house was robbed very cleverly 2 days back. And they took a lot of money.

Ross- (Suddenly) No, only 240 dollars.

James- Sorry?

Kevin – (In a weird behavior) An.. nothing. He’s mad.

James – I think I should leave for the investigation.

Kevin – Yes, sure. I hope you fail; sorry I mean pass.

Ross – Best of luck.

James – Thank you. See you soon – bye.

(James is gone)

Kevin – (In an angry way) What were you doing?

Ross – Sorry. Just got a bit emotional.

Scene- 9

(Investigation spot)

(Department head- Mr.Stans Algar is waiting for James)

Mr. Stans- (while handshake) Nice to meet you officer James.

James- Nice to meet you too.

Mr.Stans- Now, you are the investigating officer for the case, so all the best. And I am retiring next month so if you solve this case, I’ll recommend you for the post. Good Luck!

James- I’ll try my best sir.

(James is analyzing the area)

James- (speaking to himself) No clue is there. No fingerprint, no spots-nothing. Cameras also blinded very carefully.

Officer Rooney- Got no clue sir. Asked the neighbors as well but no sound was made. Must have been done very smartly.

James- You came here to tell me this? (shouts) Go and search!

James- Seal the area.

(James has been investigating for two days with no success. Pressure on him from the upper department has been continuous. He is very tensed now)

Scene- 10

(At home)

Kevin- James pass me the remote.

James- Hmm.

Kevin- I said remote not banana.

Ross- Are you fine James?

James- Yup. See you in the evening.

(James leaves in a hurry)

Ross (calls out loudly)- You have taken a french fry instead of your key.

James- (picking up the key) Ah... sorry. (whispers to himself) What’s happening)

Kevin- (looking at Ross) I think....

Ross- We should do this.

Kevin- Exactly. James gave us life, a house and most importantly a small family of three people.

Ross- Doesn’t matter he’ll catch us when he gets a clue. But he is suffering from mental trauma right now. It’s high time to pay him back.

Kevin- Let’s go.

Ross- Let me finish these french fries for the last time.

Kevin- Then let me also have my mangoes.

Scene- 11

(Steve’s house)

(knocking)

Steve- Who’s that?

Kevin- Your father. (laughs)

Ross- (laughing) Open the door son.

(Steve opens the door)

Steve- Who are you both?

Kevin- We are the ones who robbed your house.

Steve- Okay! So, you are telling me that you robbed my house and have come to surrender. Don’t talk rubbish fools.

Ross- Officer James caught us and asked to meet you first. He said you wanted to punish us personally.

Steve- Where is Mr. James?

Ross- He went home for lunch.

Steve- I don’t believe that
