Nightmare Maze
By: Victoria Blackwood
I run through the white sandy walls. A glimpse of white
cloth startles me, I turn around and see a child. An
innocent heart shaped faced, framed by dark hair, ghost
like skin wearing a white flowing dress.
She holds up a bloody sword and says one word.
“Die”
The doors in the mazes lead me to more destroyed rooms.
Staircases with holes, randomly chopped wood and
sawdust litter the floors.
Blood spatters on the walls, I know not to go in there.
Suddenly, I turn around and begin to fall the child grins evilly…
Pool of Hearts
By: Victoria Blackwood
It is night, I see nothing but darkness. All of a sudden I feel a wet wateriness on my hands.
I look up and suddenly I am in the middle of the ocean.
I begin to swim to shore but I am blocked by a palm tree.
I sink deeper, into the dark ocean.
I begin to see parts of bodies, of those who have drowned.
The deeper I go, the more I see.
When I am at the bottom, I am screaming with the rest of the discarded souls.
I am in hell.
Kidnapped!
By: Victoria Blackwood
I arrive at home, like any other day, only
something’s different.
It’s spooky, I set down my bag and check all the rooms, no one’s there.
Suddenly there is a crash from the windows!
I look up only to see men in black,
Are they even men?
I can not tell, my senses are fading,
One of the “things” had pressed a cloth to my mouth
that had morphine on it.
I struggled to get away as the “things” passed me from one to the other.
I began to scream again.
Then everything became nothing.
