Chapter One, Death

Belinda walked down a street of earth, her feet barley making a sound. Yes, she could have chosen to fly, but she did not want to. The humans passing could not see her, unless she wanted them to, and that was on rare occasions. She sighed, picked up her dress, which seemed to be made out of a cream colored cotton, she did not want to ruin it, by letting it trail on the dirty road. She sang snatches of things, her voice echoing threw the streets. It would have been a marvoles sound to any mortal, but they could not hear her, so she felt that she singing was in vain.

Belinda's voice died down, and she kept walking. It seemed like ages until she got where she needed to be. There had been a car crash, a boy about 18 was now on a stretcher, the parametics had tried everything, CPR, Elecricity, Oxegen. But he wasnt comeing too. Belinda made her way over to him. It really did seemed as though all hope was lost, but she streched out one hand and touched his chest. As soon as she did, his eyes slowly opened. She smiled at him, letting him see her for only a breif second. Then she dissapered, walking down the street again. "It was an Angel!" he mumbled as he sat up, to the perametics amazment.

About a spit second after Belinda has gone, someone else appered where she had been standing. It was another girl, though she look much diffrent from the first. Her hair was pitch black, which Belinda's had been a golden color. Her eyes where sharp and deadly, while Belinda's had been soft and kind. She placed her own hand on the boys chest, and emediately, he feel back, dead.

Belinda whirrled around, stairing straight into the face of the girl. "How could you!?" her voice was full of haterd. Just because she was an Angel did not mean she was perfect. The Fallen laughed, an cold laugh, that made Belinda shiver. "Ah, Belinda, havent seen you since...last Tuesday, wasnt it? When I killed that little girl..." Belinda winced, she remebered it, how the little girl had screamed, pleading for help, but she could do nothing. "I remeber it well, Arah." Arah laughed again, "See you around, Princess." Then she was gone.

Chapter 2, Annoying

"Its Princessa!" screamed Belinda back in her room. It was up high in the sky, and had a nice veiw of the world below. "She always messes it up!" Jenna was sitting in an armchair across the room. "Relax, Bell." she said, "She's a Fallen, dont expect her to get it right every time." Belinda growled, "Well, I've known her long enough!" Jenna sighed, "You have to stop being all high strung about it, you have other things to be more worried about, like hunger, poverty, and the increase in world domination!" Belinda rolled her eyes, annoyed, but Jenna burst out laughing. "What? It was funny, you have to admit that."

Arah sat in her high backed, black chair, thinking evil thoughts. Will walked into her room. "I saw what you did today..." he said coldly. Arah laughed, "Yah, I was awsome. Poor boy didnt have a chance, and I wouldnt have had to do anything if that Angel hadnt shown up..." Will sighed, flipping the black hair out of his eyes, "You really are to hard on her..." "She's my mortal enemy!" snapped Arah, "I have a right to make the rest of her etertiny misreble..." Will staired, blankly at her. "So," she began, "Have you thought about my offer?" Will shrugged, "How about...No." Arah waved her hand, "Fine, but your just refuseing more power, Master of the Shadows...and a good queen for you to rule beside.. Leave, I tire of you." Will looked up at the ceiling, then left, as quitely as he had entered.

Chapter 3, Meeting

Belinda walked threw a forest, it was a cold night, and a wind whistled threw the trees. An owl called for its mate, sending a shiver down Belinda's back. She knew that Angel's weren't suppose to be afraid of anyone, even the Fallen, but she couldnt help it. Her gaze traveled around the trees, as she went threw them. She was going to find someone, someone who needed her help.

Will sat at a round table, a ball over utter black light reflecting off the even darker walls. It was his home, his domain, the only place he ruled. His gaze left his walls
and back to the black hole of a globe in the center. It had come into focus of a girl, walking threw the woods, but it wasnt just anyone. "An Angel..." he said coldly, "Dares to come into the relm of m'lady." He had a habit of saying it, though he rather hated calling Arah that. "Well, we'll see that she never comes back."

Belinda thought for a moment, then started to hum a song. It was a song she remebered her earth mother singing to her. She was so out of the moment, that she didnt notic that the shadows were getting darker, or that the air had grown chilly.

Will stood their, whatching the girl. His red eyes blazed with hatred. He hated the Angels, every last one of them, and this girl, was no diffrent from the rest. He would distroy her, like he had the many other angels. He clenched his hand into a fist, and the shadows shot up from the ground, and grabbed the girl, pulling her down to the ground.

Belinda gasped, but found hersef not about too. Shadows had rapped themselves around her, and she could do nothing. She was not stairing up into the dark, red eyes of a Fallen. Her eyes darted, looking across the sky, which she noticed, had grown rather dark.

Will laughed, a cold laugh. "Well." he said grimly, "Angel of Healing, are you? They say you are reborn every thousand years..." As he looked at her, he could see fear in her eyes, fear and dread.

Belinda tried to move, anything, her hands, her head, anything! She would be able to escape. But the shadows held her down, there was no way that she would be able to escape.

Will smiled, deviusly like. "Master of the Shadows..." he said, "They wont let you go, unless I say so...Now were we, ah, born every thousand years...so the world will be without a Angel of Healing...for a while, anyways. Now, let me see here, shall I kill you with the Shadows-or by my own hand." His smile grew widder, reveling his sharp pointy theeth, almost like a Vampire.

Belinda tried to shake her head. *NO!* she screamed in her mind, *I wont fight you!* But he didnt seem to listen. The shadows swirled around Belinda, and left her, ecept they where twinded around her hands.

Will grabbed her, and set her on her knees. "There now." he said, "This wont hurt...to much." A long bladded sword appered in his hand, it was made of black metal, and was incrested with silver writting on the blade. A red stone was incrested in the hilt. He sighed, switching it from hand to hand. "Now...how shall I do this..." He though from a moment, then smiled again. He raised his sword above his head, ready to strick her down.

Belinda looked up at him, her eyes pleading, but she knew she could do nothing. She closed her eyes, waiting from the blow...

Chapter Three, Untied

Belinda heard a crash, a muffled thump, and someone cry out in pain, all at once. She opened her eyes and was suprised to see the Fallen on the ground. "HI!" said Jenna poping up right infront of Belinda. "Um, Jenna, Hi..." The shadows around Belinda wrists vanished. "Ow..." said Will, his face in the dirt. Belinda quickly got up, "Er...thanks? I guess..." "No problemo!" said Jenna, in her ussual cheery mood.

Will slowly got up. "That was a derect interferance!" he said, his eyes burrowing into Jenna. "Its against the rules!" Jenna flipped her hair, "Well, you were about to kill her." She put the emphisis on "about." Belinda looked at her, "Wait." she said, "There's a rule about that?!" Jenna nodded, "But since your the Angel of Healing..." "It still aplies!" said Will, his eyes blazing, "It's the same for all..." "Then why," started Jenna, "Doesn't it effect Arah?" Will glared at her.

Belinda sighed, "Really, I just want to go home now..." "No!" said Jenna and Will at the same time, "Not until this is sorted out!" Belinda sighed, putting her head in her hands. "This is going to be a while..." she mumbled.

After about an hour of over dramatic screaming, the stamping of feet, and the occasional "bringing out of a wepon," they came upone an agreement. "Belinda." said Jenna,"We know what we're going to do now..."
"Please don't tell me I have to jump off a cliff or something, because that wont really effect me." said Belinda. "Nope." said Jenna, "You just have to duke it out with Will over here." "WHAT!?" screamed Belinda, "I Don't Fight! How Many Times Do I Have To Tell You That?!?!?!" Jenna shrugged her shoulders. "Sorry...it was either that, or have myself jump off a cliff-" "YOUR AN ANGEL!" screamed Belinda, "You wouldn't die!" "Oh....." said Jenna. There was a smug of satusfaction on Will's face. "Come now, Belinda-" he said, emphising her name in a way she did not like, "Your not afraid to battle the Master of Shadows...are you?" Belinda growled, "I told you, I cant fight!"

"Then I guess this will end rather quickly, wont it...."

Chapter 4, A Very Strange Battle

Jenna handed Belinda her sword. "Use this." she said, "Its very light and-" Belinda dropped it on the ground, as if it were burning hot. "No way!" said Belinda. "I am not using that thing, never in a million years am I going to ever use somthing like that!" Jenna just shrugged, "You can use my bow and arrows if you want?" "No thank you..." said Belinda, she looked at Will, "Please, can I not do this?" "Sorry Princess." said Will smuggly, "Deals a deal, and bets a bet..." "WHAT?!" said Belinda, turning on Jenna, "You bet on me?!" "Well..." said Jenna. "Oh forget it!" Belinda stammered, turning away, "Im not fighting, and that is that!" Will sighed, and Jenna looked iritated. "Listen, Belinda," she said, walking over to her friend,"I know you dont like fighting...but, You kinda have to do this...its in the rules." "Where?" started Belinda, "I would like to know, where?!" A golden book appered in Jenna's hand. She opened it up and flipped throught the pages. "Here!" she said, "In section B, Paragraph 29, Sentence 109." She gave Belinda the book, and sure enough, it was there. Belinda scold.

Will tapped his foot. "Come on!" he said sharply,"I have my three o'clock tourturing to get done, dont make the poor souls wait." "You sound just like Arah!" snapped Belinda, taking somthing out of her pocket. She held whatever it was tightly in her hand. "Now, lets get this over with..."

She was standing right across from Will, about 10 yards away. It looked almost like one of those western sceans, and there even was a tumble weed, which mad Jenna laugh. But then Will made it burst into flames, only to make Jenna laugh harder, and louder. He shout her a withering glare, and she emediatly was silent.

Will smiled, the flew up high into the air. Belinda followed, still clutching the thing in her hand. Belinda burst up above the clouds, her spun around, trying to locate where Will was. She heard a "wosh" a felt seering pain. She looked at her arm, and found that it had been wounded. She pressed her lips together. "Come out! You coward! Hide behind your shadows no longer, and face me!"
