It Starts As Kayla Davenport Wakes Up To Go To School Her Pet Bunny Hops On Her Lap. "Good Morning Fluffy. I'm So Glad I'm Turing 16 And Got A New Car." Kayla Says. She Gets Out Of Her Bed And Goes To Her Bathroom To Brush Her Teeth And Gets Dress. Kayla Goes Downstairs And Eats Her Breakfast And Drives To School. When She Gets Out Some Of Her Friends Are In The School Parking Lot. "Happy Birthday Kayla." Her Friends Says. "Thanks." Kayla Says. Kayla Goes In The School And All The Boys Say Happy Birthday To Her. "Happy Birthday Kayla." Everyone Says. "Thanks Guys." Kayla Says. Kayla Goes To Her Locker And Gets Her Books For The First Period And Goes To Class. "Students We Have A New Student Today." His Name His Dylan Smith." Mrs. Lloyd says. Dylan Walks In And Finds A Seat Next To Kayla. "Hi My Name Is Kayla Nice To Meet You." Kayla Says.
"Hi I'm Dylan." He Says. Dylan And Kayla Make Eye Contact With Each Over And Smile. "You Know It's My Birthday Today." Kayla Says. "Well Happy Birthday." Dylan Says. "Ok Class Today We Are Having A Test Today." Mrs. Lloyd Says. The Class Groans And Mrs. Lloyd Passes Out The Test. "Mrs. Lloyd Any Reason You Give Out A Test On The First Day Of School?" Kayla Asks. "It's Not A Hard One. Just A Review On What You Learned Before You Started 11th Grade." Mrs. Lloyd Says. Five Minutes Later Everyone Hands In There Tests. "Ok I Have Everyones Test You Can Talk While I Grade Them." She Said. "So Dylan I Will Be The One To Show You Around The School After This Period." Kayla Says. "Cool." Dylan Says. Her Friend Jess Calls Her. "Kayla!" Jess Says. "What's Up?" Kayla Asks. "I'm Having A Party Tonight You Wanna Come?" Jess Asks. "Sure!" Kayla Says. "Hey Dylan Wanna Come To My Friends Party Tonight?" Kayla Asks. "Sure I Don't Care But I Have To Be Home By 10 o'clock." Dylan Says. The Bell Rings And Mrs. Lloyd Passes Out The Test And Everyone Passes. "Ok Dylan Let Me Show You Around The School." Kayla Says.
Kayla Shows Dylan Around The School And Dylan Feels Like He Is Really Connecting With Kayla And Begins To Like Her. "Ok Dylan I Showed You The School. Here's My Phone Number Call Me When You Are On Your Way To The Party." Kayla Says. "Ok." Dylan Says. At Home Kayla Gets Ready For The Party. Kayla Gets A Call From Dylan And Picks Up The Phone. "Hey Dylan." Kayla Says. "Hey Kayla I'm Outside Your House." Dylan Says. Kayla Walks Outside Her House And Gets Into Dylan Car. "You Look Pretty Kayla." Dylan Says. "Thanks You Don't Look To Bad Yourself. Here Are The Directions To My Friend Jess House." Kayla Says.
Dylan Follows The Directions To Kayla Friends House. "Ok We're Here." Dylan Says. Kayla And Dylan Gets Out The Car And Walks Up To The Doorstep. "Um Kayla Can I Hold Your Hand?" Dylan Asks. "Sure Dylan." Kayla Says. While Kayla Isn't Looking Dylan Makes A Silent Cheer. Kayla Knocks On The Door And Jess Opens The Door. "Hey Kayla You Made It And I See You Brought Dylan." Jess Says. "Yep." Kayla Says. "Well Come On In We're About To Slow Dance." Jess Says. A DJ That Jess Rented Plays A Slow Song. "Come On Dylan Lets Dance Together." Kayla Says. Kayla Brings Dylan To The Dance Floor And Begin To Dance.
Boys Start To Look At Dylan In A Jealous Way. "You Are A Really Good Dancer." Kayla Says. "Thanks Kayla." Dylan Says. It's Been A Hour And It's Time For Everyone To Head Home. "Come On Kayla It's Time For Me To Take You Home." Dylan Says. "Ok. Bye Jess I'll See You Tomorrow." Kayla Says. "Ok Kayla." Jess Says. As Dylan Takes Kayla Home They Talk About How The Party Was. "The Party Was Fun." Dylan Says. "Yep You're So Right Dylan." Kayla Says. Dylan Pulls Up In Front Of Kayla House And Lets Her Out. "Bye Dylan See You Tomorrow." Kayla Says. "Ok Bye Kayla." Dylan Says. Kayla Walks Into Her House And Puts On Her Pajamas And Goes To Bed.

Chapter 2

The Next Day Kayla Gets Up For Another Day At Riverside High. "Wow That Was A Fun Party Last Night." Kayla Says. Kayla Gets Dressed And Goes To School. When She Gets To School She Sees Dylan. "Hey Dylan!" Kayla Says. "Hey Kayla." Dylan Says. They Go To There Lockers And Go There First Period. When They Get To Class Dylan And Kayla Sit Next To Each Other. "Kayla I Got You A Birthday Present Sorry I Didn't Know It Was Your Birthday Until You Told Me." Dylan Says. "It's Cool Dylan." Kayla Says. Kayla Opens Her Present. It's A Necklace That Has The Letter K On It. "Oh Thanks Dylan. How Much Did This Cost You?" Kayla Asks. " Lets Just Say It Costed A Lot Of Money." Dylan Says. Kayla Gives Dylan A Hug. "I Wonder Where Mrs. Lloyd Is?" Kayla Asks. "I Found Out She Is Not Here Today." Dylan Says.
"I Guess We Can Rome Outside The School Then Come On Dylan." Kayla Says. Kayla Grabs Dylan's Hand And They Go In The Hallway. Kayla Takes Dylan To Her Favorite Spot Outside The School. "What Is This Place?" Dylan Asks. "It's Hope Lake. Well That's What I Call It Anyway." Kayla Says. Kayla And Dylan Sit Down And Watch The Lake. "Hey Dylan Can I Lay My Hand On Your Shoulder?" Kayla Asks. "Yeah." Dylan Says. Kayla Lays Her Head On Dylan's Shoulder. "Kayla Can I Tell You Something." Dylan Says. "Sure What Is It?" Kayla Says. "I Know It's The 2nd Day Of School And I Don't Want To Move To Fast But I Really Like You Kayla." Dylan Says.
"You Do, Because I Like You Too." Kayla Says. Kayla And Dylan Look at Each Other And Start To Kiss For Like A Minute. "Hey I Brought Oreo's!" Dylan Says. "Yes I Love Oreos!" Kayla Says. Kayla And Dylan Start To Eat The Oreos And Talk For A Minute. "What Is Your Favorite Color Kayla?" Dylan Says. "Green What About You?" Kayla Says. "Yellow." Dylan Says. "Favorite Artist." Kayla Asks. "Green Day. What About You?" Dylan Says. "Hot Chelle Rae." Kayla Says. Kayla Gets Up. "Come On Dylan Lets Go Back Inside The School." Kayla Says. Dylan And Kayla Go Back Inside The Class.
When Dylan And Kayla Get Back In The Class The Class Is Messed Up. Kayla And Dylan Sit Next To Each Other And Talk To Each Other.
"Hey Lets Go Somewhere After School." Dylan Says. "Like Where?" Kayla Asks. "To The Beach." Dylan Says. "Just You And Me Or We Bring A Whole Bunch Of Friends?" Kayla Asks. "We Bring A Whole Bunch Of Friends." Dylan Says. "That's Awesome Dylan!" Kayla Says. "Yep And I Made A Whole Bunch Of Friends." Dylan Says. By Surprise Mrs. Lloyd Walks In The Classroom And Finds It A Mess. "WHAT HAPPENED TO MY CLASSROOM!?" Mrs. Lloyd Asks Furiously. The Whole Class Is Silent. "Alright Since No One Knows, After School Detention For All Of You!" Mrs. Lloyd Says.
The Class Laughs For A Second. The Bell Rings And The Class Leaves For Lunch. "So When Are We Going On This Beach Trip?" Kayla Asks. Okay Since Today Is Thursday, And Tomorrow Is Friday Thats When We'll Leave." Dylan Says. "Friday?" Kayla Asks. "Yep. But To Be On The Safe Side We'll Leave After School Instead Of Skipping." Dylan Says. "Cool." Kayla Says. They Get In The Lunch Room And Sit Down. "You Don't Eat Lunch?" Dylan Asks. "I Think The Food Is Alive. Plus I Don't Have Time To Fix Lunch In The Morning." Kayla Says. "Well Why Not Fix It At Night?" Dylan Says. "Oh My Gosh, That's A Great Idea Dylan. You're So Smart. Kayla Says. She Reaches Across The Table To Hug Dylan. "Thanks So Much!" Kayla Says. "You're Welcome." Dylan Says. "You Know You're Not Really Like Other Guys I've Been Friends With." Kayla Says. "What Do You Mean?" Dylan Asks. "Most Guys Either Slap My Butt Or Try To Grab My Boobs. But You Try To Help Me Solve My Problems. I'm Glad You Came Here." Kayla Says.

"Wow No Girl Has Ever Said Anything Like That To Me Before. Thanks Kayla You Make Me Feel Better To Come To School." Dylan Says. "Dylan I Want To Be Yours." Kayla Says. "Y-You Do?" Dylan Asks. "Yes." Kayla Says. "Ok Kayla." Dylan Says. Lunch Is Over And They Go With The Rest Of Day. "Well Dylan I'll See You Tomorrow." Kayla Says. Kayla Gives Dylan A Kiss On The Lips And Waves Good Bye. When Kayla Drives Home She Sees Her Phone Ringing. She Sees That Its Her Mom And Kayla Answers It. "Hello?" Kayla Says. "Kayla I Need You To Pick Up Your Brother From School." Her Mom Says. "Aw Man He Might Get My Car Dirty, But Okay." Kayla Says. She Turns Around To Go Pick Up Her Brother. She Beeps The Horn In Front Of The School And He Comes Running Out To The Car To Sit In The Front Seat. "No Way Sit In The Back Seat. Kayla Says. "You're Not My Mom Buttface!" Her Brother Tyler Says. "Whatever." Kayla Says. Kayla Drives Home And Her And Tyler Gets Out And Goes Inside. "Mom I'm Home!" Kayla Says.
Her Mom Comes Downstairs Dressed Up. "Wow Mom What Are You Dressed Up For?" Kayla Asks. "I Have A Meeting Tonight." Her Mom Says. "Oh Well I'm Going To The Beach Tomorrow With A Couple Of Friends." Kayla Says. "Ok When Will You Be Back?" Her Mom Asks. "Sunday Around Noon." Kayla Says. "Alright Well I Have To Go My Meeting Bye Kayla." Her Mom Says. Kayla Goes Upstairs And Calls Dylan. Dylan Answers The Phone. "Hello?" Dylan Says. Kayla Whispers Into The Phone. "7 Days!" Kayla Says. "Who Is This?" Dylan Asks. "It's Me Silly. What Are You Up To?" Kayla Says. "Nothing Really What About You?" Dylan Asks. "Talking To You. Well I Just Wanted To Call You Just To Call You." Kayla Says.
