The pain was unbearable. All of the memories flooded into my head, reminding me of why I was here. I thought back to last week when everything mattered and I was one of them. I looked down to see my new creation, the sight of it sickening me slightly. All my hard work, gone. Everything I ever lived for, was gone. Life for me, was over. If I could change the past, I would...
Bliss was calling me again. She had been calling me for more than ten minutes. Slowly, I got out of bed and looked down at my covers. They looked really warm, being that it was cold outside. Half of me wanted to lay back down and forget about today, but that wasn’t a wise choice. Today was important. Reluctantly, I made my way toward the bathroom to begin with my normal routine. The hallway leading to the bathroom was cold and sticky. I looked at my feet to see how much of it I had picked up. Ignoring this slightly gross, non-visible mess, I checked to see if the bathroom was available. It wasn’t, as usual. This was getting old. Our new visitor, Raven, was always in the bathroom. I figured she just wanted to be alone, but when I heard the sounds coming from the the other side of the door, I knew something was wrong with her. I know I shouldn’t assume anything but it was quite obvious she had a problem.
“Luna! Why are you eavesdropping on Raven? We've talked about this!”Bliss's shouting in my ear made me jump, causing me to smack my hand against the wall.
“Ouch! Darn it, Bliss, you have to stop doing that!”
She gave me a devilish smile and pretended to kiss my injury.
“Oh, I am very sorry, your highness, for I have forgotten that I am nothing more than a peasant.”
I couldn’t help but laugh at her sarcasm; it was just another thing I loved about my best friend.
