MASSACRE
After the swarm of locusts came for Willson's rescue, a girl that was engaging in a duel with her losing her life by our headmaster's twin sibling.
Monsieur Decruz, instructors, and all my classmates witness what I have been complaining to them to be the truth.
Later, after such a tragic incident happened, I was in the dormitory, writing the third chapter of the Museum when Nazareth, Winslow, and Willows came in.
“Hold your horses, Winslow. Remember that Williams is not fine with hugs.” Nazareth warned.
“I beg your pardon.” Abbie blinked.
“That is correct. And we would not him be harsh or anything this morning.” Nazareth nodded.
“I see. And morning Williams. My grandmother said I could come back to school, so here I am.” Winslow said.
“This is even worse, but welcome back Winslow. Um-er, well, as you can see--,” I sighed.
“Right, you are in your story world. And you do not want us to distract you. “Nazareth said.
“Exactly. Jesus, you catch up very quickly I see. “I responded.
“Seems as if you are still harsh as ever, but I am thanking you for helping us hold a golden trophy in our hands. “Winslow answered.
“Help? Nope, I do not help anybody, I just loved a classic expression on Willson’s face. “I insisted.
“I am sorry. And so, you enjoy my cousin’s suffering. “Winslow apologized.
“That is right. “I inhaled.
“Yahuwah, you are a very terrible Williams. “Winslow blinked.
“Meaning? And why are you furious, Winslow? “I asked.
“Meaning that you do not care about anyone’s feelings, do you? All I am saying to you is nothing but the truth, Willson just got kicked out of the organization she adored the most. And here you are enjoying her suffering. Isn’t the Holy Bible talking about how vengeance is the Lord, but why do you hold vengeance in your own hands? “Winslow demanded.
“For real, Winslow. Here I was, writing in my book. And you come in here with such things. Surely, vengeance is the Lord God Almighty, I am not doing vengeance here. Besides, Willson loses that position because she lost this year’s racing tournament. Haven’t you realized that? Jesus. I was right about this. I did not want to join the race tournament, but it was the greatest mistake I made. I am now regretting such a choice.” I scoffed.
“Williams, I did not mean that. “Winslow gasped.
“It is exactly what you meant, Winslow. Besides, was it not you who said that you wish that I would join your teams? I mean you wanted your team to hold the trophy of the racing tournament, so I did. Now a golden trophy is in your hands. Jesus, I do not believe this. I am telling you the truth, I do not have a hatred for anyone. I already move on with my life and never return to the pain. Ever I will go back there!“ I growled.
I stood up with a sign outside of my computer, marching toward the rectangle-shaped entrance to our dormitory’s balcony.
I was out of everyone’s sight. When peaceful moments, it did not last for long.
“Williams, please she did not mean that. And came back. Let's talk about this--, “Abbie apologized.
“Hold on, Willows, just let him be. We already trigger his rage, and we would want him to pour all of that on you. “Nazareth uttered.
“Yahuwah, Williams might be harsh, but he cannot be that terrible person to exact his revenge on Willson. Willson was dismissed from the organization because she lost the trophy in the Racing Tournament. And you know how strict they are. “Abbie insisted.
“We must agree on that. And I wish that we could meet anyone who knows you better. “Winslow said.
“Right. It might be the old Mrs. Webclass. And her grandchild. “Abbie suggested.
“Sure. And I am sure they are coming today. I mean for a special day we all have been waiting for. “Nazareth answered.
“Does anybody know Williams’ parents? “Winslow asked.
“Not exactly. Now chop-chop let us get out of here. And as you all know, we have a family that is coming to our school. “Nazareth scolded.
“Right. Let us get out of here. “Abbie sighed.
Outside I was looking down deep into the silhouette woods, I could see cars coming to our school. I must have known that something was up. I could see an old man Hope to people with their luggage.
I marched into my dormitory room, and out of nowhere, I found myself in silhouette and was dragged away. Later, I found myself tied to a pole within an unidentified darkness.
“Jesus. And where am I? Please, whoever you are, show yourself. “I demanded.
“My good Living God. And it seems as if you have brought me fresh meat, boys. “The woman interrupted.
“Exactly right. And we have brought you, Mwamba Williams. “Boy, one answered.
“Wait, you have brought Williams--, “the woman uttered.
The light switched on, and I met face-to-face with an unidentified woman.
“And you are? “I asked.
“My name is dear old Sarah Pollington. I am the leader of this Underground Chamber. And this is interesting to meet you, Williams, finally. “Mrs. Pollington answered.
“Underground Chamber? “I blinked.
“Meaning? “Mrs. Pollington urged.
“Meaning for your information, I have no fear of you and your three henchmen. If you excuse me, you can reveal yourself to me Jordan, Israeli, and Hosea. And what occurs to the fifth member, oh, wait, you kicked her in the curb because she lost the racing tournament. I mean to add your mount of trophies. Isn’t that a classic? “I ordered.
“Astonishing. And how do you know it was us, Williams? “Mrs. Pollington asked.
“Jesus, I cannot believe I am saying this by your perfume, boys. And I thought this was supposed to be an unidentified organization, but I think that perfume’s strongest stench has become your downfall. Please, release me at once. And as you can see, I am not in a good mood. “I repeated.
“Jesus, Williams, my boy. And I have no idea that you are this amazing. If you were a detective, the police force would have an easy time-solving crime fast. “Mrs. Pollington said.
“Nope, wrong. I think that it would be your worst day. And sing that song to the birds. “I inhaled.
“Christ, you are impossible to be held as a victim. Though there is something that I have held my hand on. “Mrs. Pollington responded.
“Um-er, I am sorry to burst on your bubble, senora, but this nut is hard to crack. “I answered.
Mrs. Pollington sighs deeply, she ordered the boys to untie me, and I was about to walk away Mrs. Pollington told me to hold my horses.
“Hold on, Williams, my dear boy. Must be careful about now on with Willson. “Mrs. Pollington warned.
“And as I told you, I have no fear of a mere human but only God. And to tell you the truth, most malevolent evil is on the rise, but all of you seem to be in a deep slumber. And this is just the beginning because it is going to catch you off guard. I mean you will not know what to do. “I said.
I sighed deeply as I marched upstairs and out of sight. Mrs. Pollington shook her head in disbelief. I was marching in the hallway of our school, but Monsieur Decruz summoned me to his bureau.
“Decruz, did you summon me? “I ordered.
“Surely right. And I was told that you can sing, is that the truth? “Monsieur Decruz replied.
“Huh-um, I cannot deny singing for my God,” I answered.
“And of course, Naamani told you the truth. Jesus, would you like to sing on a special holiday that is around the corner?” Monsieur Decruz said.
“Sure, why not? And is that going to be Thanksgiving Festival Day, I guess? I mean a day to thank you God for what He has done in our lives.” I asked.
“Correct, Williams. Everyone’s favorite.” Monsieur Decruz responded.
“I see. And then count me in, but I must warn you how far I cannot go.” I answered.
“Right, right. Harshly as always Williams.” Monsieur Decruz laughed.
I scoffed but he burst out laughing his eyes out.
DIVISIONS AMIDST TWO BROTHERS
Monsieur Decruz’s laughter annoyed me but remained calm.
“Can I get out of here now? “I asked.
“Have your way. “Monsieur Decruz altered.
I silently marched out of Monsieur Decruz‘s bureau and found myself marching in the dormitory chamber.
Later, I was strolling around deep in the dark woods that morning. Neither do I know that Winslow, Nazareth, and Willows followed me.
“Are you still in the case, Williams? “Nazareth asked.
“Not for now. And I am just taking in the fresh air. “I responded.
“Taking in fresh air. And listen, forgive me for what I said earlier. I should be thanking you, not the other way around. “Winslow insisted.
“Great. And we forgot about that. I mean I do not feel so satisfied. “I stated.
“Right. And come on, we have an interesting place we want to show you around. “Winslow laughed.
“Excellent. And why not? “I asked.
Winslow led the way, and we followed. We continued heading deeper into the silhouette woods until we arrived in front of a vast ruin. I looked around in thrill because I loved the frightening building, and the place was enormous.
“And what is this place, if I may ask? “I demanded.
“This is a place that we call Together has the Rainbow. “Winslow laughed.
“Together has the Rainbow? “I gasped.
I blinked confusedly as I looked at what nonsense Winslow was saying. Nazareth and Abbie began dying of laughter silently when they saw my reaction expression.
“Just listen to her closely, Williams. “Nazareth said.
“Yahuwah, see his expression, Nazareth. “Abbie laughed.
“I know, right? “Nazareth added.
“And what ridiculous title is that, Winslow? “I scoffed.
Winslow looked at me with shock but chuckled.
Nazareth and Abbie looked at each other while waiting for Winslow to respond to my question.
“Huh-um, this is the place where we lost the most important man in Meadow. Meaning? His name was Obed Webclass, fifty, and a ridiculously outstanding man. He was the strongest Overseer. Rumor has been spreading like wildfire that there was life-threatening damage to his twin brother Caleb Webclass. He has the same psychic power to oversee the future, but his heart is evil. He wanted to burn down Meadow to ashes and pledged the entire nation into darkness. And the battle broke out, Obed defeated Caleb to his dismissal after he fell from the seventy feet tallest tower. Old Obed lost his own life. “Winslow said.
“Even better. And old Obed did not die from that but from cancer. “I stated.
“I beg your pardon. “Abbie blinked.
“I am telling you. And about defeating his brother, that is the truth, because we were this close. He always told me King James Version Holy Bible scripture in John eight verse thirty-two says, “Ye shall know the truth, and I truth shall set you free”. “I declared.
“Meaning that is your theme, right? “Nazareth asked.
“That is correct. I desire to look for the truth. Not until I find the truth. I will not stop. And I will find what is causing the students at this perfect God-fearing high school to perish. “I answered.
“Count me in. And I am glad that you have met old Obed in his final years. “Winslow added.
“Sure. Still, if you are dead, I will crush you to death. Understand. “I scolded.
“No worries, we are not Williams. “Winslow chuckled.
“And do you know that there was a classic love triangle between old Obed with his twin little brother being in love with the same girl? I mean during their high school years at the Museum of Prophecy. “Milleson interrupted.
All of us turned around and we met none other than Milleson.
“Great. Milleson. And what are you doing here? “I groaned.
“I am trying to tell you that there was a love triangle? “Milleson begged.
“Was there. That is even more classic. If you excuse me, would you mind if I go inside it? “I asked.
All of them nodded, I walked inside but Milleson followed me.
“Milleson. And what do you genuinely want? “I asked.
“Nothing. I want to see it too. “Milleson answered.
“Um-er, this is even worse than I imagined. “I inhaled.
I was in the lead, but still, Milleson strode after me. Nazareth with the girls came after us. All five of us find ourselves in front of a huge upstairs hall that looks like an enormous bureau. In front of us, is a great intact statue that looks like Obed.
“Is this Obed’s bureau? “I demanded.
“Not at all, Williams. This was Caleb’s. And you can see, they were twins. “Winslow said.
“Right, right Miss Smart. And would you mind if you found out? “I scoffed.
“Meaning? And are you making fun of me, Williams? “Winslow gasped.
“No idea, you tell me. “I said.
“Ugh, Williams, why are you like this? “Milleson shouted.
“And what do you mean by this? All I am thinking is that another soul is added as a sacrificial lamb, for whatsoever is after my life. “I roared.
“I see. Now I know you do not like seeing my face, do you? Still, go ahead and be harsh. And you do not even care about anyone’s feelings. “Milleson asked.
“Why should I? “I snarled.
I went to touch the statue. I discovered myself seeing Caleb and Obed standing at the cliffhanger of the mountain.
“Obed, my only brother. And I am sure that was the best meal I ever had, but it was not enough! “Caleb laughed.
“I beg your pardon. “Obed chuckled.
“Do you still believe what our grandmother said, I mean a boy uniting both people from the unbreakable invisible golden barrier and people who lived in Meadow, Minnesota. Even across the world? “Caleb asked.
“I am not sure that the boy will be from Minnesota but will come from another state. “Obed answered.
“Is he American? “Caleb asked.
“Nope, his nationality is not from here, but from another part of Africa. “Obed responded.
“I see. And you just know I have a gorgeous girl I love unconditionally. “Caleb declared.
“Have you, little brother? And it seems as if you are ready to settle down. Do we have another pair of twins like us? “Obed chuckled.
“Ha-ha-ha, I guess. “Caleb laughed.
“Huh-um, there you are, boys. And morning Obed, how are you? “Namini interrupted.
“Fine. And you are? “Obed said.
“My name is Namani Murrells. I am new here. Still, morning to you too, Caleb. “Namini greeted.
“Morning, um-er Naamani. How do you-- do you do? “Caleb stammered.
“I am fine, thank you. “Namini said.
Obed observed his twin brother in shock and burst out laughing.
“Is this our mystery girl, I presume? “Obed chuckled.
“I beg your pardon? And what are you talking about? “Namini asked.
“My little brother is interested in you—! “Obed said.
Obed was interfered with when Namani sat next to him at the cliffhanger of the mountain deep in Meadow’s dark woods.
PREPARED
He looked back and saw the rage in his little brother’s eyes.
“Cal, are you all right? “Obed asked.
“Traitor! And am I all right to you, older brother? It seems as if I was right. I guess a friend like you should not be the headteacher. “Caleb roared.
“I will take over the school as the headteacher, but you will perish together with that African girl. “He continued.
Instantly, Caleb was surrounded by a darkness that made Obed shocked for a moment.
“Namani ran fast. Out of here right now. I am going to handle my brother. “Obed shouted.
“Obed, but I have chosen you. I have fallen in love with you unconditionally—! “Namini begged.
“Now, Naamani. And this is not the time to pour out your feelings for me. Please, leave at once! “Obed ordered.
“And when would you like me to tell you? “Namini shouted.
“Get out, please, Namani. “He demanded.
Namani whimpered in agreement and ran out of sight.
“Caleb. Please, have mercy. And I do not know if she was the one, but I am telling you I have no feelings for her. Would it be possible for you to calm down? And let us talk about this. “Obed begged.
“Liar! All lies. And maybe if I put you out of your misery. Besides, I was thinking of burning the Meadow to ashes. And plunged this nationwide world in darkness, I will be honored and adored as a god. “Caleb snarled.
“Blasphemy! Have you truly gone insane because of the girl? And how dare you claim to be God, have you lost it? And may I remind you that there is no darkness in what is good. “Obed gasped.
“Typical. And I should know that you would say that. “He growled.
“Huh-um, may I remind you that Lucifer’s downfall was because of pride that consumed him. He wanted to be like God, but look where he is now. “Obed pleaded.
“Enough chit-chat, brother! “Caleb roared.
Caleb unleashed his weapon and charged after his older brother, but Obed unleashed himself as the two-edged sword clashed into each other.
Caleb beat a lesson out of Obed, unless he became defensive, and they were closer to the edge of the mountain cliff.
“Caleb, brother. Please, stop this insane plan of yours. Nothing will come out of it but fall to your own dismissed. If you did have feelings for Namani, why did you not tell her instead of hiding it? “Obed begged.
“I do not know, brother. And I told her, but she told me she was out of my league. “Caleb cackled.
“Wait, what? Is that the truth, she said that. And I get that you got rejected. Is this the reason you are furious? And yikes, you thought I would betray my little brother who is precious to me? “Obed pleaded.
“How ironic Obed? Can’t you realize that she is in love with you? I mean, for the first time she set her eyes on you?” Caleb urged.
Obed knew that there was no way to convince his little brother, wishing their grandmother were around, and maybe he would listen to her.
Caleb unleashed his double-edged dagger after Obed knocked the two-edged sword from his hand. He was about to penetrate through his chest, but he dodged it. Caleb loses his balance and tumbles down to his dismissal from the tallest mountain seventy feet.
“Jesus. No, little brother! Caleb! And I warned you, I warned you that things would end up worse! No!” Obed cried.
Obed was looking down at his twin brother’s corpse on the rocky earth.
“Yahuwah, my Living God.” I gasped.
“Williams, are you unwell?” Winslow asked.
“I must tell you that Obed’s brother died that day. Not defeated!” I panted.
“Excuse me?” Nazareth declared.
“I am telling you the whole truth. Caleb missed on penetrating his double-edged dagger on Obed’s chest and plunged to his death at the edge of the seventy-foot mountain cliff.” I answered.
“Saw all of that in your vision, I hope?” Nazareth asked.
“That is right, Nazareth. And I believe we must return to help others with the preparation for the Thanksgiving Festival Day holiday.” I repeated.
“Might be right, Williams,” Milleson noted.
Willson was looking at me when she responded, but I just scoffed and walked away.
“Huh-um, cousin, why do you look at Williams like that?” Winslow asked.
“Nothing much, Winslow.” She said.
“I see. And maybe because Milleson is falling for the boy she rejected.” Nazareth chuckled.
“No, I am not Nazareth. No need to be ridiculous!” Milleson scolded.
“Yahuwah. And this is the worst scenario to watch. And I am so out of here.” I scoffed.
All the other four burst out laughing hard. Later, we found ourselves at the school’s property while things for the festival were being prepared. All of us sat at the round table in the warm sunshine outside.
Night covered the sky like a huge silhouette blanket. All find us returning to our dormitories. I went outside that full moon wintry night in comfortable sleeping clothes.
*My good Friend said thank you. My good Friend there is one like You. Though I walked in the valley of the shadow of death. I shall not fear evil for Thou with me. Uh-huh. Jesus my Friend. There is no one like You, Lord. Jesus, my friend. You are worthy of honor and praise. Jesus my Friend. There is one like You, Lord. Jesus, you are worthy of honor and praise. Jesus, my Friend. * I sang.
I stopped when I saw my old friend Mrs. Webclass and her fifth grandchild Sheba with Monique. Hope was leading them to the guest house.
“Is everything all right with Williams at this school?” Mrs. Webclass urged.
“That is correct. And he has become nothing but harsh to everyone. “Hope said.
“I see. And who could have blamed him? “Mrs. Webclass commanded.
“Meaning? “Hope blinked.
“Hope, my friend. Williams has unconditional feelings for this girl, but she humiliates him and rejects his love. “Mrs. Webclass responded.
“I beg your pardon? “Hope blinked.
“Correct it is. “Mrs. Webclass answered.
“And who was that girl’s name? “Hope urged.
“I guess, the Milleson family’s girl. “Mrs. Webclass said.
“Meaning, Michelle? “Hope ordered.
“That is the one. And truly she is full of irresistible charm, but why reject Williams? Adding to that, she transferred to this school, and that is something. “Mrs. Webclass sighed.
“Michelle at this school? “Mrs. Webclass asked.
“That is correct. She is here to live with her family’s relatives. I am sure her mother wanted to be humble. Not so overconfident. “Hope said.
“I see. Williams is compelled to see her. “Sheba gasped.
“He is Sheba, but he is trying his best to stay as far as possible from her. “Hope stated.
“That is challenging. “Sheba said.
I returned to bed and met Nazareth, who was awake.
“Nazareth? Still, not sleep? “I demanded.
“Not at all. And did I just hear you singing? “Nazareth asked.
“Me, sing? Wrong, and of course yes, I was. And I am practicing because I will be singing on Thanksgiving Festival Day. “I blinked.
“For real? And you sure you are not going to have stage frights? “Nazareth laughed.
“Not even close, Nazareth. I used to sing in the choir back in Tucson in church. And I am sorry to burst your bubble, I have no stage frights. “I scoffed.
“That is awesome, Williams. And I have no idea that you have that kind of voice. “Nazareth responded.
“Please, do not be a melodramatic Nazareth. As you can see, I need to go to bed. “I answered.
“Right, right. And good night then. “Nazareth said.
I crawled into my bed, and I slept soundly without saying goodnight back.
TO BE A CLASSIC DATE
Morning came when I felt someone jumping on me. I rubbed my eyes unless I met face-to-face with Monique.
“Great. And why are you jumping on him, you sure are in big trouble little girl—.” Nazareth scowled.
“No, I am not. Williams, wake up, please.” Monique shouted.
“Morning, Monique. And what are you doing here?” I yawned.
“I beg your pardon. And is this what it is?” Mrs. Webclass blinked.
“Um-er, that is correct, Namani.” Hope said.
“My late husband’s favorite dormitory. And morning Williams, I overheard you to be harsh towards everyone.” She gasped.
“I have,” I stated.
“And how is your power of vision?” Mrs. Webclass demanded.
“Wait? Power of vision, grandmother?” Sheba urged.
“That is right. After Williams’s kind heart was shattered in pieces by Michelle Willson, it triggered that.” Mrs. Webclass answered.
“Is it the same as grandfather?” Sheba declared.
“Correct, but Williams is more powerful. And his eyes of consuming fire are more life-threatening once it awakens, but I just wish that Obed would be here. He would help him to master, but with him, no more things would turn out life-threatening. I mean, if Williams lost a person that is important to him, his power would fully awaken.” Mrs. Webclass noted.
“And you are afraid that he would turn like your husband’s twin brother? “Hope asked.
“Sure, Hope. Maybe not because I am sure that Williams has his path to follow, and that is the truth, right, Williams?” Mrs. Webclass swallowed.
“I am sure it is. And he tells us his friends, though he is headstrong. He said that he desires to walk in the truth. Nothing but the truth.” Nazareth interrupted.
“For real? And it seems as if Obed was right about you.” Mrs. Webclass said.
“Namani, do not be melodramatic! And morning, Monique again, how are you being?” I gasped.
“I am still kicking, aren’t I? Find any lucky girl, I hope? She laughed.
I looked at Sheba who was furious, but she burst into laughter silently.
Monique was waiting for my answer patiently after I inhaled hard. After that, I found a way to respond to such a question. Mrs. Webclass joined in too in laughing her eyes out.
“Nope, I already told your grandmother and mother that I will never fall in love.” I inhaled.
“Right, because love is overrating?” Monique ordered.
“Right about mon petite Monique. Hold on, not so little any longer? “I repeated.
“Not at all. I am twelve years old. Seriously Williams. And you call yourself my friend.” Monique answered.
“I see. And congrats, little Miss Webclass, I hope the man will fall in love with you. Might be a lucky one.” I stated.
“I guess. “Monique replied.
Monique got off me with a sigh and was sitting on the side of my bed.
“Is everything all right, Monique? “I asked.
“I am fine. And I just wish you could start falling in love again. Christ, Mitchelle why do you have to break Williams’s heart like that? “Monique uttered.
“Calm yourself down, girl. And I am sure everything will be fine with me, I promise Monique. “I said.
“Are you sure? “Monique declared.
“I am. And I will stay further away from love, so tell the girl any interesting boys at school. Tell me, it is our little secret. “I repeated.
Monique came to sit on my lap and whispered in my ear.
“My, me. Girl, he is the luckiest man to have you.
Monique learned over my ears. “I continued.
“I beg your pardon. Out of your league? Sheba, what is wrong with today’s girls’ generation? “I gasped.
“I have no idea, Williams. Have you any clue? “Sheba chuckled.
“No idea. That is why I am asking you. “I said.
“Um-er, I am sorry for saying such a thing. And I know I have awakened the pain of the past, have I? “Monique apologized.
“Listen, Monni, I have moved on with my life. And I will never go back to the pain of the past, understood. “I declared.
“I see. And that is awesome, but I wish you could find love. “Monique sighed.
“Still, insisting on that? Would you mind telling me who is in your league? “I scoffed.
“This would be embarrassing, but you are. “Monique responded.
“Wait, what? “I blinked.
“Hoo-la-la, Williams, is that romantic? “Nazareth teased.
“Do be quiet you, Nazareth! No one is talking to you. “I scolded.
Monique burst out laughing hard, Sheba covered her mouth in shock and was looking at her.
Namani has no idea how she should react to such requests, her grandchild’s response.
“Unbelievable, Williams, have no idea you are this infamous with girls. “Winslow laughed.
“Speak to yourself, Winslow. I am having a conversation with my significant other. “I shouted.
“I see. And this significant other must be lucky to have you. “Winslow answered.
“Right, right. “I inhaled.
“Um, Williams, you told us yesterday that old Obed’s brother collapsed to his death. I mean when he missed penetrating through his brother’s chest. “Winslow repeated.
“Correct. And because Caleb missed, loose is balanced and pledged to his death. “I uttered.
“For real? And I thought Monsieur Decruz explained to us that he was defeated by falling to the sixty-foot tower. “Winslow blinked.
“I am sure. Nothing that he said was the truth. I am telling you the truth; he did fall to his dismissal. If you like, I will take you all where he meets his end right now. “I said.
“Even better. That is going to be a classic date. “Winslow chuckled.
All the other seven look at each other.
“Um, sorry, an adventure. “Winslow swallowed.
“I want to see where my grandfather’s twin dies. “Monique pleaded.
“Right, right. Let us go, girl! “I answered.
Monique was over the moon, Sheba and Naamani looked at each other in shock. I rushed to my closet and came out in my high school uniform.
“I must warn you, Williams-Monique, to be careful! “Mrs. Webclass begged.
“No worries, Namani. I keep an eye on her. I promise you. “I scoffed.
“Right, Williams. “Mrs. Webclass said.
All six of us discovered ourselves standing on top of a seventy-foot mountain.
“Look. Stairs, Williams! “Monique laughed.
“Nice eyesight, Monique. And all of you followed me, besides, watch your step too. “I added.
It was windy, as all agreed with me. Later, we find ourselves standing where Caleb breathes his last.
“Here we are. And would you care to find out what happened to him? “I continued.
“Right. “Monique answered.
I touched the flat rocky earth, and I met face-to-face with Obed in front of me.
“He is waking up. “Obed whispered loudly.
Obed got out of my way, and I saw Caleb standing in front of me. He walked up to me and surrounded me three times, but I had no fear because I remembered the Holy Bible verse says, “Greater is the One who is in me, then he who is in the world”.
“My, my. And what do we have here if it is not the boy that has power like mine? “Caleb scoffed.
“I am not like you, Caleb. “I said.
“Uh-huh. Wasn’t your heart shattered by that girl Michelle Milleson? “Caleb laughed.
“It was but I did not go on the wild rampage like you. I mean after you see Namani sitting next to older Obed. Mine surely was shattered in pieces but I got up the courage to move on. And because I knew that God alone had a good plan for me. His plan is not to harm me but to prosper. And you dare to claim yourself to be a God. How dare you? Besides, who do you think you are? “I demanded.
“Man, you have a gut boy. And haven’t you realized that you are in my world now? Look around you would you please? “Caleb cackled.
I looked around me, I saw darkness covering the whole earth. I stared at him without fear.
HE LOST HIS BALANCE
I burst out laughing while I looked at him as his eyes widened in shock.
“And what is so funny, Williams? “Caleb cackled.
“I mean you are funny. Because as remember this world is not in your hand but God alone. “I said.
“Typical. Besides, are you here to challenge me in my Kingdom? “Caleb responded.
“Man, Athaliah, how far have you fallen? And I thought that you could be the next Monsieur headteacher, but I was wrong. “I urged.
“I am sure you were. And not only that, but I am also only here for vengeance against that brother of mine. “He barked.
“Caleb, vengeance will solve nothing. It only brings you pain and sorrow. Even worse, you could handle losing everything. “I stated.
“What is the point of being good? Is believing in what you say just the truth? I am going to exact my vengeance whether you like it, Williams! “Caleb scoffed.
“Neither am I going to let that happen, Caleb. I am going to do anything in my power to stop you. Even if it kills me. Sure, losing something important to you is very painful, but what is the point of shedding blood on the innocent? I mean who has nothing to do with what happened? “I uttered.
Caleb was overwhelmed with rage, charged after me but caught on fire, and wailed in agony. I wake up panting.
Monique rushed toward me but was shocked that my eyes were in the color of flames. All of them move back for a moment.
“Williams! Are you unwell? “Monique asked.
“I am fine, Monni. And it seemed as if I met face-to-face with my worst nightmare. “I sighed.
“Meaning? “Winslow commanded.
“Caleb, Obed’s twin brother, did not die either.” I inhaled.
“I am sorry.” Milleson blinked.
“That is the truth. Caleb is still alive. And roaming around the Bureau of the Prophecy’s property. He might be disguised as one of our instructors.” I said.
“For real? And what do you mean by that?” Nazareth urged.
“Um-er, I know this might sound weird, but I just met Obed for the second time. He said that Caleb was awake, and I saw him standing in front of me. I mean, after he fell from the seventy-foot mountain cliff.” I added.
“Jesus, I am sure that is something. And Caleb did not die, then where is he?” He asked.
“I am not sure. And that is what I am trying to find out.” I said.
The afternoon came by fast, and we returned to the Museum of Prophecy. In the dormitory, I was writing my fourth chapter of the Bureau novel, and I went outside to inhale fresh air.
Around that same time, Winslow, and her older cousin Milleson were sitting near the seashore in Meadow. Both were enjoying that afternoon’s fresh breeze in silence.
“I have no idea that I would make things worse,” Milleson responded.
“Meaning by that Michelle?” Winslow urged.
“I had no idea that I would be falling in love with Williams. “Milleson whispered.
“I beg your pardon? And why did you reject his unconditional love for you, but humiliated and called him names.” Winslow gasped.
“I was embarrassed, you know. And like I told you my arrogance gets the best of me.” Milleson frustrated.
“Huh-um, well, congrats on that.” Winslow forced laughter.
“I am sorry. And did I just hear you clearly saying that? Listen, Dawn, I am suffering here. And all you have to say is congrats?” Milleson scolded.
“Exactly. That is what you should be because clearly, you have no idea how hard it is for boys to confess their feelings, do you? Michelle, you thought Williams to be humble, funny, and the rest. I am sure you have loved him unconditionally, right too?” Winslow roared.
“Guilty of charge. And when my father found out I did that, he was furious with me. Ever since then, he has been visiting an old friend of his named Naamani to see if Williams returns from the school, she transferred him to. It was not used. That is why he sent me to come to live with you, my relatives.” Milleson swallowed.
“Humph, I welcome you with both arms, but to tell you the truth, Williams cannot go back on his word. And I loved you so much, like my own.” Winslow said.
“Meaning, Dawn?” Milleson demanded.
“Haven’t you realized that Williams is trying everything in his strength to get further as he can from you?” She answered.
“I have no idea, but Williams is still mine. I will apologize to him. He is going to give me a second chance.” Milleson responded.
“Sure. I supposed I should make a deal then.” Winslow noted.
“And that is,” Milleson uttered.
“If you apologize and Williams accepts your back, I will consider you changed. If not, I will consider that you have changed a bit.” Winslow said.
“Bring on, little girl. And I am sure that I am the cause of his harshness, maybe if I do apologize his heart will be soft again.” Milleson remarked.
“Ha-ha, dream on Michelle. And that is surely great.” Winslow announced.
“It might be best if we told Monsieur Decruz about this.” She chuckled.
“That might be it. And he might give you a challenge to know if what you are saying is the truth. How about we go to an enormous palace mansion up the fifth staircase mountain? And we might tell him about it.” Winslow stated.
“That is the greatest idea ever,” Milleson said.
Winslow laughed to see his older cousin excited about such an idea.
Back to the dormitory, Nazareth walked in with two male friends as I typed my novel.
“Noon, Williams. And how are you doing? This surely is the calm before the storm, right?” Nazareth declared.
I stopped typing as I scoffed when I met face-to-face with my two friends.
“Wait, what? Nathan? Simone? And Sharon, great. And what brings you here?” I asked.
“Yahuwah! And who are you? Besides, what have you done with our friend Williams?” Simone yelped.
Nazareth, yikes, you were not kidding!” Nathan whimpered.
“When you told us Williams turned harsh like this, it did not believe,” Sharon responded.
“I did not, Sharon.” He replied.
“Jesus, my Living God. And what has Milleson done to you?” Sharon ordered.
“Umm, well, a lot worse since you asked Sharon. And she dares to transfer to this school.” I roared.
“I beg your pardon. Michelle, transfer to the Museum of Prophecy? Nathan blinked.
“Man, that is a worse scenario.” Simone sighed.
“Tell me about it. And on that, Milleson is looking at me weirdly lately.” I nodded.
“Christ, that is torture. And could it be possible that Willson is falling for you? I mean she used to tell me about it.” Sharon asked.
“I am sorry. Are you telling me that Willson was in love with me? Ha-ha-ha, get out here. And how could that beauty and beast have feelings for me?” I blinked.
“Might be right about calling me the beauty and the beast, Williams,” Milleson uttered.
All turned around and we met face-to-face with her.
“Speaking of which. And here she is.” I groaned.
“Ha-ha, noon, Nathan-Simone-Nathan. And of course, Sharon, my childhood friend. How are you?” Milleson greeted.
“Hold on, Michelle, is this the real you?” she declared.
“That is me in the flesh. And why?” Milleson forced a chuckle.
“Huh-um, well, back then in Pass Christian High School in Mississippi, you were not like this. And you have become quite a new person.” Sharon answered.
“I am trying my best.” Milleson exhaled.
“Not even close.” I scoffed.
“And I am sorry for being a jerk back then, I ended up hurting your friend instead of telling him my true feelings,” Milleson begged.
“Enough, Milleson!” I shouted.
I mashed my desk where the computer was in little shreds.
MAKING DEAL WITH MILESON
I was overwhelmed with rage my eyes turned in a color tongue of consuming fire.
“No, no! Look what have you done! And why are you a thorn in my flesh, Milleson? All my masterpieces are destroyed. Could this be even worse?” I roared.
“No way! Williams, your eyes. And I am sorry for doing that. I will tell my mother to buy a new computer, a laptop for you, but please. I mean you no harm. “Milleson apologized.
“Isn’t that great? “I scoffed.
“Williams, what is going on? No, no, no, no way. Eyes of the tongue of consuming fire. And how did he, besides Williams, do not harm her, please? “Mrs. Webbclass begged.
“Namani! And why should I not put her out of her misery? “I asked.
“Um, because you are not a murderer, but I am a good person. And I thought that you wanted to walk in the truth, not the other way around. Please, it is best if you just calm down and talk about this. “Mrs. Webbclass panicked.
I just inhaled as my eyes went back to normal.
“My computer. All my work is gone. “I growled.
“Pretty much, but it is safe on Google documents, right? “Monique said.
“I suppose. And what nonsense were you talking about, Milleson? I could have killed you! I told you if you are dead, I will still crush you, Comprende! “I shouted.
“Uh-huh, but I am not. And so, this is a win-win. “Milleson forced a chuckle.
“Please, don’t be melodramatic. Yahuwah, this is the worst scenario I have ever encountered. My power is becoming out of control, my computer is destroyed. And worst of all, you can just come in here! Um, tell a guy you reject that you have feelings for him. What is this generation heading to? I would scorch you to ashes with a second thought. “I scolded.
“Tell us would you, Williams? Are you excited, harsh, or furious? “Nazareth asked.
“I am harsh all right. I am so harsh that I am going to explode. “I shouted.
“Jesus, I can see that. And did you just shout that Milleson came to tell you how she feels? “The man interfered.
All turned in the voice's direction.
“Papa, you came. “Milleson declared.
“I did. And what are you talking about because you are my only child, why should I come? “Mr. Milleson answered.
“Sure. That is what she says, but I already moved on with my life. And I will never intend to return to the pain of the past. “I remarked.
“I see. And well, that is sad. Are you telling me that if she accepted you when you confessed your unconditional love, none of this would happen, right? “Mr. Milleson sighed.
“I am sure that it is, Papa Milleson. Ridiculously outstanding in catching up on things. “I said.
“Right. And for your computer, I will bring a new one to you in the morning. I am sure to see you tonight at the town hall’s ball. “Mr. Milleson uttered.
“Forgive me, I would rather be a lonely person than untangle myself in such huge crowds. “I scoffed.
“Please, Williams, let us make a deal. “Milleson said.
“And that is? “I asked.
“Listen to me, if accepted to go in a life and death adventure game. I mean the two of us if there is such a game. If I win, would you accept me back? “Milleson urged.
“And if I win? “I said.
“And if I lose, I will let you be. I might be your friend. “Milleson added.
“Not even close, but that is a deal then. Christ, I am surely going to regret it. And I am not exchanging my harshness, understand! “I reported.
“Got it. And it is a deal to me too. “Milleson laughed.
I scoffed as Willson squealed in overjoy and walked out our sight.
I walked outside for fresh air to my favorite place to think, after that, I bid everyone farewell because I had a place to go that I might think of some more.
Nathan, Simone, Sharon, and Monique pleaded if they would tag along.
“Have your way. And the local people in Meadow are not the people back home. “I responded.
“I get it. “All stated.
Later, we discovered ourselves marching into my favorite restaurant.
All five of us were standing in front of the counter of the restaurant.
“Williams. And it is about time you showed up. “Winslow whined.
“I beg your pardon. Would you mind telling me what this is supposed to mean? Miss me or something? “I asked.
“I guess. Listen, you are the best customer of this restaurant. And I am happy that you are here. “Winslow laughed.
“Wait, what? Not even close. “I scoffed.
“And same as always? “Winslow groaned.
“That is right. “I stated.
“And what would your four wants? “Winslow demanded.
“We want spicy chicken burgers. “Nathan responded.
“Yahuwah, this usually. “Winslow gasped.
“I know, right? And talking about my friends from my old high school. “I noted.
“And that is why I realized their faces to be familiar. Um, you must be Nathan, right? “Winslow said.
“That is a nice guess. “Nathan muttered.
“And this is Simone and Sharon. “Winslow chuckled.
“Correct. “Simone added.
“Right. “Sharon replied.
“Noon, Monique, nice to see you again. “Winslow uttered.
“Noon, and you work here? “Monique asked.
“Exactly. And I surely enjoy working here. “Winslow agreed.
“Right. And do you know that Milleson made a deal with Williams? “Monique urged.
“Wait, she did? How romantic? “Winslow teased.
“Quiet you! And do be melodramatic, Winslow. I am feeling tortured already. “I scolded.
“I am sorry, a torturing love. I can see through your eyes that everything is not right with you. And well, congrats on that. It would be even more melodramatic, seeing you pouring all your harshness on her. “Winslow laughed.
“I know, right? “I inhaled.
All of them burst into laughter. I let my friends go to my favorite table where I usually sit.
“My, my. And what do we have here? Not from around here gorgeous? “Jordan ordered.
“I must warn you to get lost. And I would not have said that if I were you. “Nathan demanded.
“Quiet you! No one is talking to you. “Israeli roared.
“Neither am I, Romeo. And why will not you get out my face, I have some important things to do. Sharon shouted.
“Ouch! That must sting, Jordan, my brother! “I teased.
“Excuse me. Williams, are you in school uniform again? “Hosea said.
“I am Jordan. And what are you going to do, beat me to a pumped? I must warn you to stay away from me. I am not in a good mood. “I cautioned.
“Uh-huh, what is wrong, isn’t your family coming to see you? Is that why you have a patty face?” Jordan teased.
“I can see that you have forgotten what he did to you last time. “Winslow reminded.
“Last time I took it very lightly, but I can see you did not learn your lesson from that,” I spoke.
“That is right, kick them to the curb!” Goodness laughed.
“I beg your pardon. And Grandfather Goodness, what are you doing here?” Hosea urged.
“I thought you wanted to kick Williams to the curb. And do not let me stop you boys. I am sure when you chew and spit him out, I will have a conversation with him.” Goodness answered.
“Right. Get him, boys! “Jordan commanded.
“Jesus, Yahuwah, I am going to regret this. And when you get home, try to tell your parents the truth. No lying if they see you with a dark eye.” I inhaled.
Old Goodness just sighed deeply in disbelief. It followed by him bursting into laughter.
