CASTING INTO THE LION'S DEN
Evening came by like a vast storm; when I found myself amid the hundred miles acres of noir woods. I remember this happening when I confessed my unconditional feelings to a girl in high school. Especially to a girl from the wealthiest noble family.
She glanced at me with her gorgeous eyes weirdly and was disgusted before she would look away.
I supposed Nicole was correct about calling her Heartless, and I surely agreed with her but who could have blamed me? I was in unconditional love with her ever since I was in my first year in high school, I hope.
I could not deceive her because she heard me, and I knew I was about to face the unthinkable worst nightmare of my life. To tell you the truth, I was nervous as all eyes were staring at me. They too heard me with clearance and were waiting for the hilarious comedy-drama to unleash.
"No, no, you lied. Did I just hear you clearly saying that you have feelings for me?" She asked.
"Hmph, um...yes. Do you have a problem with that, Willson?" I stammered.
"Yes, commoner, I don't like you. I hate you! I do not deserve you a bit! Out of my league!!” She roared.
"And why you don't love me if I may ask?" I asked.
"Well, I don't love you because you are an ugly duckling, a commoner, and smell like rotten eggs. It would be better if you put some perfume on. My parents are wealthy and would not love me to marry a poor boy like you. Now beat it!" She growled.
"Ouch, that must sting, girl. I tell you will regret this." Nicole sighed.
“I do not care, Nicole! And do you know that it is forbidden for an African boy to fall in love with nobility!" She shouted.
"But your parents would care, and they care for you to have a man in your life. Whether it is a poor or a wealthy boy," he added.
Nicole just gave up. Neither do I want to get into trouble. I answered.
“I am sure you are too late Mr. Rock. Security!" called our teacher.
Two of my friends defended me but she just scoffed as usual.
After that, two security guards came rushing into our classroom, and I was knocked unconscious. I was carried away out of high school to face the consequences of doing such an abomination.
I am nineteen years old of age, the cutest irresistible African man from Congo. I have curly noir hair, and brown eyes, and wear mostly a white long-sleeved sweater, army grey hooded jacket, jeans, and brown shoes.
My theme is I never know when my call was to do remarkable things in faith. My truth is I never want to be in a challenging situation. My greatest fear is my life in a challenging situation forever. All I want is to have a normal high school life. Fall in love, get engaged, get married, and have children. But getting cast into the survival game is outer nonsense.
I am a calm man, I despise liars, but I for people who are honest with me, I pull them closer. I can be overwhelmed with rage when a person is full of wickedness because that is getting on my wrong side.
I used to be a D.I.An agent at the enormous mega agency headquarters. I am told by the director to be a fearsome experience agent. I have been praised for accomplishing my assigned missions without holding back against my opponents.
Neither does anyone know about my background? Everyone in high school thought that I was a weak and worthless human being.
The disbelieve about the world in my Christian lifestyle is sure, the world is full of chaos and wickedness, but that is not a reason for you to cast your crown of faith away.
My favorite food to munch on is fufu. It consists of starchy foods—such as cassava, yams, or plantains—that have been boiled, pounded, and rounded into balls. The pounding process, which typically involves a mortar and pestle, can be laborious. Fufu is often dipped into sauces or eaten with stews of meat, fish, or vegetables.
Wameahidiwa ('they are promised’ in Swahili) is considered of the world’s foremost commercial, financial, and cultural centers. Wameahidiwa is the messy unvarnished village of La Capitale {the Capital.
After waking up from my unconscious, I found myself in a breathtaking engulfing perfection of mass land. Casting into the lion's den. Deeper in the gloomy natural woods of America.
“Where am I? No! No! it can be. Is this what I think it is? And how would I forget that it is forbidden to fall in love with a girl from a noble family? Jesus, my Living God!” I swallowed hard.
“William. It is about time you woke up. You go ahead I am the survival game’s master. Have been cast into the life-threatening game for breaking the law. And the nationwide world is watching you.” He interrupted.
“And what am I going to do?” I asked.
“Try to survive and you will win your life. I understand that you only came here two decades ago, but this is the rule in La Capitale.” He continued.
“All you must do is try to reach that luxurious white cabinet. And I promise your old friend Mordecai we will have you in one piece.” He added.
I sighed in annoyance as I was smacked by starvation. I did not have any choice but to look for something to eat.
“Almost forgot William, you are in the lion's den hunting ground. Please try to survive because the hunters are very merciless. And try to entertain them with fight skills because they are getting bored with their weak prey. Give them a life-threatening joyous challenging wild goose chase.” The survival game expert answered.
“Understand that. And do not worry about that.” I responded.
I was rushing through the bushes and heard gunshots in the distance.
“Here they come. And so, the game is about to begin.” I sighed.
A mile away at the edge of the forest in front of the luxurious marble-built white cabinet, nine men were waiting for the signal to hunt their prey.
“Christ! And I hope this time around that our queen has chosen challenging prey to hunt down.” Said one of them.
“Heard you Herod Caesarea, My man. And do not worry, who knows, maybe this one might survive a while longer.” Chuckled the second man.
“Um, I hope she does.” Herod sighed.
Herod was in his thirties, black beard, haircut, amber eyes, khaki trench coat, jeans, and army boots.
“Enough chit chats! And listen carefully to the counting game signal!” Naboth scolded.
“Calm yourself down Nab. And why are you so grumpy about the old man? Besides, we are in this together,” Herod teased.
“No worry. Hero, I am listening very carefully. Isn't that, right?” Naboth cackled.
Herod and Naboth, the person he called an old man were in their mid-twenties. They wore dark and Naboth wore green long-sleeved sweaters, khaki pants, and boots.
The rest of the men was twenty-seven, twenty-nine, thirty, twenty-five, fifty, and twenty-six. The rest of the men were wearing all the colors of the rainbow.
Adding all nine of them were nothing but ruthless on the prey that the queen puts into the survival game.
Meanwhile, I was deep in the woods, wondering and I found all kinds of wild berries. I mean there were strawberries, blueberries, and others.
In the distance, I saw a warm comfortable cave that had one route to the other side.
“Jesus. Thank you for your never-ending goodness.” I cried.
Inside there was a gentle waterfall of fresh drinking water.
Around that time in La Capitale, Wameahidiwa the girl to who I confessed my feelings, was sitting with her wealthy family.
Watching me in the survival game with overwhelming thrill. Trying to figure out if I would survive the game.
“Nah, my mother. I am sure he is dead meat like the rest of the negro monsters.” She laughed.
“Miko, be supportive!” Her mother scolded.
“Besides, he did confess his unconditional love to you. It is such an unfortunate thing to die for ironically.” Her father interrupted in laughter.
“How encouraged of him.” She agreed.
“Not helping Thomas!” Snapped her mother.
She glanced at me with a disgusting stare.
HUNTING GAME IS ON
Baynard was twenty-seven, Marcus, twenty-nine, Nimrod, thirty, Balak, twenty-five, Filipino, fifty, and Paineni, twenty-six. The rest of the men were wearing all the colors of the rainbow.
Miko, the nobility girl I confessed my love to in my high school and her family were watching a survival game.
Her brother Michael was looking at the TV with despise in his eyes full of guilt about this cruelty.
“Hunting game is on. And Michael, my son, why aren't you suggesting anything?” asked their father.
“Pardon me father but I am not a fan of innocent bloodshed.” Michael scoffed.
“Innocent bloodshed? And what do you mean by that?” Their father blinked.
“Thomas. Leave him alone. And he is right about that. I am sure you two should be ashamed of yourself!” Their mother roared.
“Christ! I can see your brother and mother do not support the game, Miko.” Thomas laughed.
Miko agreed but Michael sat silently with his mother.
“All of them always ended up being dead prey. I mean without reaching the cabinet. I always want the contestant to win the final in the survival game.” Michael interfered.
“Not with these hunters. These vermin negros never win the game.” Thomas cracked.
“If this is going to end the same, I am out of here.” Michael sighed.
“And let us make a bet that if he loses you will marry the queen’s thirty-third grandchild. If not, you are free to bring any girl in this noble family.” Thomas responded.
“For real father? Even a commoner black girl?” Michael blinked.
“Correct, even a black commoner girl. In that case, the prey entertained the hunters, murder them, And arrived at the cabinet which is a final location unharmed. I mean which is undoubtful if he is going to win.” Thomas scoffed.
“I am sure you have a bet, father. And if he loses, I will marry the Princess. If not, I am free to bring any commoner girl that I want to spend my life with,” Michael blinked.
“Right about that. Neither will I go back on my word.” Thomas answered.
“Excellent one my boy. And you must still stick to your promise, Thomas!” Their mother snapped.
“Right about that Hannah.” Thomas chuckled nervously.
Thomas was in his forties and Hannah was thirty-seven. Miko was seventeen and her brother Michael was fifteen years old of age.
Michael’s childhood best friend the Queen's grandchild was fifty-nine minutes younger than him. Though both were fifteen.
Three of them wore red, gold, and blue luxurious fine lines designed clothes.
Thomas and Hannah exchange their looks confusingly. I mean after seeing their son with a feeling of overwhelming excitement on his face.
“Nice one Thomas. And I am proud of you.” Hannah answered.
“I know, right?” Thomas teased.
“Not pushing any further Thomas!” Hannah warned.
Thomas swallowed hard but Hannah burst out laughing hard.
Three of them were interrupted by the counting tic—tock clock sound of that game while their eyes looked at the TV with excitement.
“Here it comes.” Thomas laughed.
“One, two, three, four, five, six, and seven,” all counted.
Deep in the thickest gloomy woods Herod and the other hunters watch the counting clock end. To its last number.
After the hunters had seen the last number, they ran in laughter through the thickest woods.
I saw it too, but I returned deep into the comforts of the cave without fear.
“Jesus, this racially challenging situation must end. I mean, the queen was supposed to be a positive example, but she is nothing. Meaning she is overwhelmed with corruption.” I sighed.
I sat down that night while outside in the darkness the hunters with torches were searching for their prey.
No weapon was given to me, that would bring a life-threatening impact to my enemies in my position.
In front of me, I saw fresh roots of the nearby trees and break all three of them. Where I commenced to sharpen them on the rocky cave.
When I was about to sharpen the second one, I was interrupted by the low growling of the beast.
I turn around unless I meet my worst nightmare. It was an unidentified enormous dog-like beast, with sharp claws, and ravenous canine teeth.
“Jesus! In this world, I have never seen such an enormous beast that I have never encountered in my life. Not even in a zoo.” I gasped.
Three more growled behind me and I was amid four of them.
“My, what big teeth do you have?” I teased.
I laughed in silence at my jokes.
I was about to pick up my spear when one of the beasts flung me hard at the rocky wall.
It was like it was saying Boo to me with its paw. I scream in pain while I taste my salty blood.
“Even amid such a life-threatening challenging situation I found myself in it. This one is the best ironic one though fighting into combat with them it is not my thing!” I gasped.
I watch the beast that flung me hard on the wall. It was about to pounce on me, but something unimaginable happened to me.
Which was my survival sharp instincts kicking in, yet I did not allow it access to my well-being.
I remember what a fearsome experience I had when I was an agent. Been praised for accomplishing my assigned missions without holding back against my opponents.
I mean, infiltrate my enemies' base, and massacred them all. Following by their bones in their bodies snapped like sticks.
I revised myself smacking their teeth out of their mouth with only one punch, it is a brutal experience to my conscience.
It was like I was an instructive humanoid machine. For that reason, I have never been permitted to use my fearsome untamable strength ever since.
Image using such untenable strength against the hunters of the survival game. That is unnecessary and out of the ordinary.
This is the reason; I never want to change in such a life-threatening challenging situation as the survival game.
So, that is why I did not allow my survival sharp instincts to have access to my body.
After I got flanged hard on the wall, I taste my blood and was defenseless.
I was about to stand up by myself strong with all my strength. I was trying to do my best after I backflipped toward my handmade weapon which I picked up.
One of the beasts charged at me, but I somersaulted. Neither did I want to murder any of them. I have told everyone my reason I do not want to change after discovering myself in such a challenging lifestyle.
Out of know where I was scratched on my back by the sharp claws. It followed by me being flung hard on a wall.
I screamed in agony while I panted heavily, and my vision was blurry.
Around that time back in La Capitale, the Queen, and her thirty-third grandchild were watching me rounded by enormous dog-like beasts who were getting closer to me.
Queen Cesarean’s girl covered her mouth in shock though he was not interested in seeing the blood of her people being spilled. I mean, into the name of the survival game.
“Child, is everything all right?” Caesarean asked with worry.
“Nothing to worry about Mama. I am fine.” She answered.
“Menora, child, I can read you like a book. And I know when you are happy or not!” Cesarean insisted.
“Fine Mama. Why are my people murdered in such a way? In the name of the survival game? For your information, that boy in there reminded me of my Papa!” Menora answered.
“I beg your pardon. And did you just say that the contestant boy reminded you of your Papa, how?” Cesarean asked.
“I mean look at him very closely Mama, you will know what I mean. And believe me, if this boy loses, I will never watch such brutality as the survival game!” Menora roared.
Cesarean glanced at her grandchild for a moment in shock. I mean taking back her persistent questioning before she could continue to talk to her.
CHALLENGING CHOICE OF THE PREY
Cesarian went ahead after bursting out laughing her eyes out. Though she was surprised about her granddaughter's answer but happy at the same time.
“Jesus, my Living God. And you know what you remind me of?” Caesarian asked.
“What?” Menora blinked.
“Um, your mother of course. She was one of the stubborn and strong African American. But after that rebellious chaos, I lost both who I cherished in the world.” Cesarean responded.
“Is that the reason I am not allowed to go out of this dungeon?” She asked.
“Man, I want to experience love with other boys out of this cell. Playing with my childhood Michael is not very thrilling.” Menora continued.
“Not going to happen Menora. And what about those vermin murderous nabbed you? And who knows what they are planning in the secret meeting congregation. Always unpredictable I tell you, my girl.” Cesarian refused.
“Please, promise me. Promise me that you are not going to do anything with them. Or getting out of this palace!” Cesarean continued.
“Perfect. More dungeons sentence. Me with my big mouth,” menora muttered under her breath.
“Promise me, Menora Mikai Cesarean!” She insisted.
“Fine. Fine, I promise you. And please look at him very closely. Who knows you might be the one to restore your lost unconditional love for my parents. I mean he is kind-hearted, full of compassion, and considers everyone equal. And I am stubborn like my mother. Please tell me, Mama, what else?” Menora asked.
“And the most annoying girl in my life but I cherish you the most. I just pray that he wins the final of the survival game.” Cesarean laughed hard.
“And I pray so Mama.” Menora agreed.
“Besides, you are right about him reminding me of your father. Still, I am not going to be satisfied until I wake those murderous vermin negros from the face of the earth!” Cesarean roared.
“Mama please, calm down. I am sure the boy you called vermin will bring peace of mind through Christ in your heart. I mean restored your once lost love for Africans.” Menora laughed.
“Jesus, I hope you are right, child. But I doubt that is going to end there like the rest of the contestants. Which I have cast in the survival game. There is nothing valuable or special about him.” Cesarean replied.
“Mama never judged the book by its cover. It might shock you.” Menora giggled.
Cesarean stared at her grandchild in annoyance.
Menora burst out laughing when she saw her grandmother’s confused facial expression.
“Jesus! My Mama. And you should see your face!” Manora laughed.
“I know, girl. And I must make you laugh. To tell you the truth because you are the most valuable person led by your parents in my life, understand!” Cesarean sighed.
“And do not forget the boy who had Papa's characteristics. He is compassionate, kindhearted, and more. I am stubborn, Kindhearted too, and much more.” Menora responded.
“Exactly, the boy who has your father's characteristics too,” Cesarean answered.
“I am thrilled. And I wish I good meet him someday.” Menora squealed.
“Menora? What are you muttering about? Jesus, my living God you are flirting with him, aren't you?” Cesarean gasped.
“Um, wait, what? And what are you talking about? I am just suggesting.” Menora giggled.
“Liar. And the besides why do you have hope that he will win the survival game unarmed?” Cesarean asked.
“No idea why. But our strong feeling is that this African boy will reach the final unharmed.” Menora continued.
“I am sorry to burst your bubble, but no prey ever escaped the hunters alive. Even so, as I told you, he is going to end up the same as the other.” Cesarean disagreed.
Menora silently sat on the chair with comfortable thrilled joy in her heart.
Old Cesarean was looking at her grandchild for a moment but laughed silently for seeing her child happy.
Meanwhile, Michael and his mother were terrified to see me in an inescapable situation.
“Huh, well, my son prepares to be Menora’s betrothed. And I am sure this negro boy is going to be the dog-like dinner tonight.” Thomas interrupted.
“Not quite, Thomas. And I am sure the boy will be courageous to Vanquish the beasts.” Hannah disagreed.
“Please, come on, William. Hurry up gets out of there. And if you win, I will forever be in debt to you. Get the courage fast or else you're going to die.” Michael cried in silence.
Miko was watching me suffer with excitement because I was cornered. Very soon, I am going to be dinner for the beasts tonight.
Later, in the cave in the woods, I collapsed to the floor on my knees and was grunting in pain. In my blurry vision, the beasts were surrounding me.
After I collapsed to the ground while struggling with the challenging choice of prey. Meaning it was a choice of whether I should fight the beasts with the untenable strength of my sharp instinct.
Still, I insist on not permitting my untenable sharp instincts to take over my body.
At that moment, the beasts pounced in my direction, but my sharp instincts took over my body.
In my vivid vision, I heard something crashing hard.
I came to my senses by clearing my vision, I overside the beast on the floor lifeless.
I remember hearing the snapping sound of the cracking of bones.
Looking closely, at where the beast lay dead, I saw its head was in a pool of blood.
“Cannot be! No, no, no! This cannot be happening.” I panicked in fear.
I was interrupted by the roaring of the beast behind me, but I somersault India acrobatic way to the other side.
In my hand, I was holding my spear.
“My Jesus. Huh, I guess, I have no choice but to fight on, don't I? Huh, man. Classic, let us screw sundae some beasts. Though I am going to regret this, this is an ironic challenging choice for the prey ever. Still, I need to go with it.” I sighed.
One of the beasts came after me, but I charged headfirst at it unshaken.
I closed its mouth after a step on its head. I pierced through its head with my spear. I heard it whimpering in pain. It collapsed to the ground dead with a thud.
“One more beast to go. And wait a minute thought there were four. Classic, I have two more.” I scoffed.
I launched my spear toward the beast in front of me. I watched the sharpened handmade spear penetrate the beast's forehead. It roars in agony and falls to the ground dead.
The pain in my back from the beast's claws was unbearable yet I ignore the pain while I focus only on one beast.
After the beast pounced on me to the earth and scratched my stomach. I wailed in affliction.
I was choking on my blood while the beast was around me. It was about to finish its final blow, but my untenable strength overwhelmed me.
I punched the beast under its chin and fractured all its teeth.
I twisted around the neck of the enormous dog-like beast and broke both its front and back legs bones into little pieces.
I climbed its back. After that, I snapped its head. The beast squealed in agony.
I overpowered the life-threatening final beast after tilting on the neck, climbing the back, and cracking the neck’s bones when I twisted its head.
I was exhausted to the point I collapsed to the ground and lay there while breathing heavily for fresh air.
THE PREY BECOMES THE HUNTER
I woke up that early in the morning by the rushing of feet of the boots. I rushed outside to check what was going on, but I confronted my worst fears. In front of me, were four hunters who saw me.
Instantly, I did not have any choice but to run away while they shot at me with the flying bullets of their guns. I kept running deeper into the woods, without realizing holding my manmade spear.
Behind me overheard the hunters excited chasing after their prey with chill, but I was faster as my feet would carried me.
“I told you that this prey might last longer, Herod!” Interrupted Naboth.
“I know right? And you told me, but I did not believe you. Run for your life! Run for your life prey! We are surely behind you. And you are making this a thrilling goose chase!” Herod cackled.
“Would I tell you, Herod? I told you that this one might be more deadly than the other prey. And what would happen if he turned against us? I mean the prey becomes the hunter. What happened then?” One of them gulped.
“I beg your pardon. Are you sure, Balam? The prey becomes the hunter, are you for real? Baynard laughed. No laughing at him. And I am sure Balam knows what he is saying.” Balak scolded.
“Great. And you are defending him because you are the same name. Cool down, man!” Marcus roared.
“Not even close, Marcus. They are not even close. I mean their names.” Nimrod answered.
And who invites you, Nimrod!” Filipino snarled in a Spanish accent.
“Silencio old man. And who invited your funny speaking?” Paineni snarled.
‘Pardon me, how dare you disrespect your elders?” Filipino shouted.
“And what are you going to do funny speaker? Talk funny to me to death—ugh!” Paineni yelped.
Out of nowhere, the spear penetrates behind, and all went to his forehead. Every one of the hunters watched in horror.
Paineni collapsed onto the meadow-dried leaves forest and breathed his last.
“No. No! Pain! This cannot be. And how come we did not see him coming?” Herod roared.
“And that, I will kill him! Did you hear that? I will murder you in a slow and painful death. Do you hear me, negro!” Naboth shouted.
“I told you, didn't I? I warn you that the prey becomes the hunter, but no! Now, look at what just happened.” Baynard whimpered.
“Quiet you fool! And for Christ's sake, we are hunters, not cowards!” Nimrod scolded.
“Nonsense. Neither am I a coward. I am just suggesting.” Baynard swallowed.
“Please just do not suggest anything, Baynard,” Herod answered.
“And the two of you stay behind to bury him.” He continued.
“Perfect. And we are staying behind to bury the dead.” Marcus whined.
“Quiet down you fool. And quit complaining!” Baynard urged.
“No, I will not be quiet. And I will speak!” Marcus scalded.
“Fine then be my guest. And you will direct our prey to us would that be satisfied you?” Baynard scoffed.
“No! No! No! That is not what I meant. I will be quiet. I will be quiet because I do not want to die.” Marcus yelled.
“That my lad then,” Baynard said in a British accent.
Herod and the rest of the five men walked off sight. Baynard and his partner Marcus were left behind.
“Jesus, hunters are more foolish than I think. Don't they know that united, they are unstoppable? Now look at it, there is nothing but the division into the group. Classic!” I laughed silently.
I bounced out the thickness of the bushes and I bind Marcus with the roots vine on his neck. Marcus reacted in fear and shoveled me off with his elbow, but I did not set him free.
In fear, Baynard unleashed his revolver and opened fire, but I put Marcus in front of me as the shield. Marcus screamed in pain that echoed through the woods.
Meanwhile, Herod and the others overheard gunshots and screaming.
“No! No! Baynard! Marcus! It is unfair that we left them in the hands of our prey.” Nimrod whimpered.
“Nonsense. They might meet something dangerous. A beast or something. And about our prey, he is probably on his way to the cabinet.” Herod chuckled.
“And come on everybody let us keep heading forward.” Balak sighed.
“My, my it seems as if I was right prey. And you are a fusty one. Perfect! Finally, the queen has put a challenging prey in the game.” Baynard cackled.
Baynard dropped his revolver to the ground and cracked his neck. I looked at him in shock because I knew what he meant.
Later, in la Capitale’s palace Queen Cesarean And her thirty-third grandchild watch the survival game in shock.
"No way, two hunters are already dead but how?” Cesarean asked.
“Excellent. It seems as if the prey becomes the hunter, Mama. Jesus, this is more exciting and who is he? Did you see the way he twisted the last beast’s neck like it was nothing?” Manora laughed.
“Correct, child. And I did. Neither do I have any idea who he is. Forgive me for that, I thought I was going to be bored but this is the best entertainment ever. Lastly, Thomas selected the best prey for the survival game.” Cesarean sighed.
“Wait, what? And did you just say Duke Thomas is the one who selected prey for the survival game? I mean a boy or a girl for the game?” Menora gasped.
“That is right. And what about?” Cesarean asked.
“No, Mama! Neither do I want to betroth to his son! I am not even ready for marriage!” Menorah roared.
“I beg your pardon. And who dares told you that?” Queen Cesarean growled.
“Um, his son Michael texted me. And he wrote that if his father wins against the prey in the survival game lose, I will betroth him. If not, he will choose a girl he is going to spend his life with forever,” Menora said.
“This is impossible! Neither am I going to allow that to happen. Never!” Queen Cesarean roared.
In the enormous mansion of Thomas and his family.
Michael was over the hills while his father, sister, and mother were observed in shock.
“But how could this be? It has been for many millennia; no prey ever fights back against those hunters.” Thomas blinked.
“Um, well, I suppose the prey is turning the table against the hunters.” Michael laughed.
Thomas watches in horror knowing that he is going to look, but he held back his rage.
Back to the woods, Baynard beats a lesson out of me while I lay flat on the meadow of dry leaves earth. So, this made Thomas thrilled with a smirk at his son.
Back in the woods, I watched Baynard pick up his revolver and point it at me.
“Point that thing away hunter!” I punted.
“My name is Baynard. Not hunter! And you are?” Baynard snapped.
After I kicked his knees with my untenable strength, Baynard screamed in pain out of his lungs. He fell on his knees grunting in agony.
I picked up his revolver and pointed at him.
“I am your worst nightmare. And since you ask politely my name is William.” I noted.
I opened fire as he wailed in pain.
THE TABLE HAD TURNED AGAINST THEM
After I murdered Baynard by opening fire on his forehead, I continued my persuasion quest toward the cabinet to complete the survival game's final.
At the same time, Herod told the four of his fellow hunters to divide themselves. In that case, they might cover up more ground.
Herod remained alone because Naboth was nowhere to be found because he disappeared without a trace. He went through the thickest bushes, and everyone thought he was going to ease himself but since then he did not return to the teams.
Herod growled in rage when he did not see his old friend return through them.
“Cowards, Naboth! And surely you are a coward!” Herod cursed.
Herod continued his search for his prey as he went further into the woods.
Meanwhile, I marched deeper into the woods and was on my way to the cabinet for the final of the survival game, that I might win my life, but it was getting darker.
I was exhausted when I discovered the tallest thickest bushes. In amidst it, were dry leaves with wood. Around it, it was pitch dark.
I switched off the flashlight that I was holding after taking it out while the campfire burned.
It was getting colder when I took out my berries and munched on them. I slept under the thickest of the dried leaves.
My eyes were still open when I was looking up into the navy dark sky, the full moon, and the perfection of luminous stars.
Out of nowhere, something pointed at the crown of my head.
“And it seems as if I got you, prey! Still, what are you going to do?” Bemoaned the male voice.
When I was about to react, the unidentified opened fire. Following me screaming in agony. My voice alerted the others who came roundabout me like a swarming.
“Man, you are one of toughest prey to catch. And I am thrilled that you have taken this long. The other primal prey would die by now. Tell me prey, what is so special about you?” asked one of them.
“No idea. And weren’t you supposed to finish me off? I mean instead of chit-chatting?” I scoffed.
“Not even close because I want you to bleed to death. And I am sorry for this but—!” Balak paused.
I collapsed to the ground after he smacked my forehead with the hilt of his revolver as he cackled viciously.
Nimrod and Balam tied me very tightly and left me to die. All three of them burst out laughing their eyes out.
“It is finally game over for you, prey!” Nimrod laughed malevolently.
Balaam lifted my man-made spear and pierced through my hand.
“See you around. And when we are back you might be dead by then ha-ha-ha!” Balam laughed.
I watched the three of the men walk out of my sight as I was left unconscious because that pain where unbearable.
After being unconscious, out of nowhere, a particular girl camouflaged herself in noir clothes to blend in the background of the dark environment.
She came to kneel in front of me. Back in la Capitale, Michael and the rest of his family were shocked about the unknown girl, or whatsoever it was.
Her eyes were covered with bright green glowing gargles in the night.
“No, no this is not fair! This cannot be happening!” Thomas gnashed his teeth.
“Enough noise Thomas. Because this survival game is getting interesting.” Hannah scolded.
“Hannah seriously? Aren't you going to unite with me? Besides, if our son marries royalty, we will be more respected. And think of the riches!” He snarled.
“Not quite, Thomas. For crying aloud, you are the wealthiest Duke in la Capitale!” Hannah reasoned.
“Jesus, woman. And I should know you would say that.” Thomas sighed.
Please do be quiet! I am watching a survival game. Peep down!” Hannah scorned.
Thomas gulped hard while Michael burst out laughing hard.
Three people in the family watched the girl onto that game screen, checking if I was breathing, instantly she gasped with relief.
“Jesus, imbecile boy. And you must give me a heart attack! Please, do not die for my sake!” she muttered.
She took out my man-made spear and I gnash my teeth silently. After she took out a bottle from her bag and poured the red liquor on my wound.
Everyone knows what followed, while she wrapped my hand with the bandage. Moving to my next excruciating pain which was the wound from the bullet.

“Get him off! get this filthy negro out of my neck!” He shouted.

Without holding back with mercy, the bullet penetrates Balam’s forehead. He collapsed to the ground. I was feeling stronger than ever though I despise murdering my enemies.
Nimrod reacted in shock and was about to open fire in my direction, but I was quick and the bullet pierced through his chest.
