Dreams

I was in the car, someone in the back was arguing with the driver leaning forward and pressing the ipod, changing the music and then the driver let go of the wheel and leaned towards me, to the ipod. I was familiar with what was about to happen, a flash of lights, the squeeling of metal and the shattering of glass and now I was dead. I was in darkness, a faint tick, tick, tick could be heard and then I realised I was in bed. It was all a dream, it was scaring me now because I have had this dream ever since I found out I was moving away from the town I had come to call home. I was burning hot, it was because I always keep the window shut and my covers are really thick and silk. I rubbed my eyes and pushed the cover to the end of my bed, swung my legs over to the sideand got out of bed. I grabbed my cup off my bedside draws and then went to get a drink. My bare feet made a noise, I walked down the hall way and then I could hear the deep snores coming from my brother's room, the vibrations could be felt through the floorboards. The snores stopped as I passed his room and I quickly hurried downstairs towards the TV, I skipped several steps at a time and spilled some water on the cream carpet. I put the cup down on a table then dived onto the sofa, only to find james, my brother's friend on the sofa. His eyes flew open and he stared coldly at me then pushed me off the sofa onto the floor, I landed with a bang. " why did you do that?!" James stood up and now towered over me, I was only like five foot three and he was at least six foot. His lazy tired voice replied " You hit me," I could hear anger in his voice but I just pouted at him and shook my head in disagrement. His face was going slightly red now. " I never knew you were there," it was kinda true, I did know he was sleepuing but I definatly never knew he was sleeping on the sofa. We don't really get on, after all who could? He was crazy, annoying and hot-headed too but it did not help that he said I was those things too. I was about to give him the shouting at of his life but then my brother walked in. He taunted and teased saying" Kepp it down you old couple, you'll wake our parents up and do you really want that?"

"WE ARE NOT A COUPLE!" we yelled at the same time. My bro just smirked and sacarstically said," yeah right, whatever romeo and julliet," I scowled at him. I really hoped he was going to shut his fat gob but then he sneakily said" oh yeah, I forgot to mention loverboy is moving to the same place as us, isn't that great for us, his dad lives there are closish to us,"

I think I am going to have a heart attack, my breathing quickened and I screeched," WHAT! my worst nightmare is coming true, at least here I don't have to see him 24'7 but he better not live next door or one of us is going to have an early death,"

I punched james in my fit of rage, but he hardily felt it and I grabbed the only remote for the TV then stormed upstairs. I slammed my door as loud as possible, so they knew I had gone to my room and that they won't get the remote till I decided to unlock my door which will be never. I have kept it locked ever since james slept one time, I had woken up and he was staring at me and it was sooo creepy and disturbing. I had thought that he was going to do something horrible to me, I payed him back though, I cut a massive chunk of his hair out and he had to get his head shaved. Then whenever I saw him I used to yell baldie at him, I was only twelve at the time. I heard banging, it was james and my brother coming up the stairs. They started to bang on my door, I ignored them but then they started to shout," Elena open the door now! Give us the remoteor we will break your door down," Obviously not believing them I encoraged them saying,
" come on, I bet you can't do it," I continued to laugh at them. Then I looked at the hinges, they were starting to come off the door frame, omfg they were serious about breaking my door down over a stupid remote which is going to end up being packed away soon. The door groaned then made an odd squeeling noise, I jummped back as it fell and there was james with a stupid grin on his face.

"Elena where have you put the remote..." is it just me or do guys have a lower IQ or a lower sense of common sense, I will never know. Happily trying to show no fear over this mad idiot I chirpped," Don't move any further or I will pepperspray you and I am as serious as you were about breaking my door down,"
Without warning he lunged towards me, I acciddently dropped the pepperspray so I ran towards my walk in closet and shut the doors. He yanked and pulled but then he finally opened my closet he evily said," You can't hide it forever," Then I sprayed hi with deoderant in the face and he howled in pain," How could you spray me with pepperspray owwwww I'm dying, it's melting my beautiful face," I frowned at him then looked at him weirdly. "It was only deoderant," He stopped squirming then shrugged his shoulders. To taunt him about his failure I waved the remote in his face, I may be smaller and weaker but sure as hell I am fast. I ran and ran as far as possible as I could get away to him, my destination was the sofa. I jumped on and put the episode of gle that I had missed last night. I turned around to smile at them both, " too late, I guess your both watching glee now," My brother began to whine," How can you do this little sis," Giving him a ugly scowl," I am older than you! Little bro. And I can do this happpppily."
Glee was good, I enjoyed it but I couldn't believe what quinn dressed like now. She looked like one of james old girlfriends. I quietly giggled to mself but got strange looks from james and sam making me realise it wasn't that quiet. After my glee episode I decided to be nice and give them the remmote for a while, I went to make breafast, my parents were awake and rather mad about the door. I cooked some scramble eggs and bacon, I put it on my smiley face plate them turned around to get a fork. I turned around then found sam and james helping themselves! "DO YOU MIND!" james just smiled lazily then said," nah, I don't mind at all," I grabbed the still hot pan, sam backed away after all he was a little sensible because he learned the hard way that if you eat my breakfast you will get hit with the pan. James just continued to eat my food but purposly made faces, I slapped his hands away and was about to hit him when sam said," james leave her breakfast, she needs all the food she can get so she can grow taller just look at her, she is well tiny,"

James P.O.V

Elena snorted, well something that sounded like snort, it was hard to tell because she has a quiet musical voice. I'm actually glad I'm moving to the same place because she is actually ok, what the hell am I saying? Nah I find it fun to get under her skin and annoy her but she is as equally annoying, after all she forces us to watch those awful shows and gets us into trouble a lot. Elena can get away with a lot of things, nearly all the adults around her say to anybody in a five year area of her age say things like " be careful, she's not as big or as strong so no rough play" You would get what I mean if you saw her, she has snowy white hair which has a silver shine to it, pale skin and a few pale freckles. Then big grey eyes with flecks of violet and I find them very freaky and unusual also she is like five foot nothing. I haye the way she just floats through life being admired and adored by children, animals and everyone. Children climb all over, people always touch her hair or gives her a pat on the head and give her everything she wants.

Elena P.O.V
"Oh, bye elissa I'm going to miss you and promise that you will visit, I will try to as well,"
Elissa is one of my best friends, she knows james and finds him as annoying as I do, she is taller than me but who isn't ? She's very funny, smiley and convinces me to dothings I would never ever do. I give her a hug and say goodbye, when I'm sixteen I'm going to get a car so I can drive and visit but my parents say I will make new friends. The place I'm moving to is a small town in the middle of no-where near a lake and a beach with lots of foresty areas. Apparently it will be better and the fresh air will do me good but I don't want to move. I climbed into the van then saw james sat next to me.
"No way are you coming with us!", he was smiling, obviously enjoying this too much and unfortuantly this means if he is coming I will have to sit next to him for another six hours at the least.
" Yep I'm coming along because it's easier, I only have clothes and stuf with me so it will fit down there by your feet," I was really angry w3ith him now, that's my feet space so what if my feet don't actually reach the floor usually I will put my feet where he is sitting now. He always has to ruin everything.

James P.O.V
Four hours later, now Elena had her head rested on my shoulder, I didn't dare move in case I woke her up and thought I was touching her hair or something. I think she tried to stay awake as long as possible but by three hours she was almost asleep with her head leaning forwards as she was asleep then sitting up as she woke and she continually did that but ended resting her head on my shoulder and falling asleep. Her feet were facing the door, she made me move up because her feet can't reach the floor which is quite funny.

Two hours later...

An annoying voice whinned, " Wake up lovebirds, aw you look so adorable asleep together... I will treasue this picture forever and I guess all of facebook will too," Sam smirked, elena was still asleep until he shouted,"Elena, wake up!!!!!" Her eyelids fluttered then she woke up.
Her expression was price less, a mix of fury, disgust and embarrassment. " What was MY head doing on YOUR shoulder?!?"

Elena P.O.V

James looked at his shoulder, then his face wrinkled in disgust and half tried to keep from laughing. " Ewwwwww, you drooled on me," He had his shirt pinched through his fingers and was tugging it away from his body. I looked at him shocked then replied," I didn't."
He shoved me out the van as I was getting out.

Ashs P.O.V

The new family were moving into the old home which had once been abandoned but recently it had been fixed up, I had never really realised it had bewen fixed up, nobody has lived there for generations because it was the home closest to the woods and everybody know the rumours about the wild animals which killed a group of boys. I hope there wasn't any boys, because they would do something stupid but yet I do wish there are some. Out of the van came two boys, a blonde, a dark haired boy and a tiny fair-haired girl. I think things around here were going to get a lot more interesting.

Elena P.O.V
We had already most of our belongings sent here and the home decorated, everything packed out as if we had come back from a day out and that our home was waiting for us. I had a look around, the kitchen was bigger than our old one and it was more modern, I liked homes modern and old fashioned, walking into my room was like walking into a different era but I have changed a lot since from then. I raced upstairs, pushing my brother aside, looking for my room secretly hoping I had the biggest room. I had the biggest room which was a relief, In my old home I had a den connected to my room and my bathroom but here I had three big rooms joined. A bathroom, a room with a cinema in and another room with all my stuff in. I think I might like it here.

Sams P.O.V
I looked into my sisters room, it was really old fashioned apart from the massive TV, laptop and all the modern things, the bed was a nightmare. I don't know who would have a bed like that, it was a double bed with a massive headbored which was metal intwinned with metal flowers and all girly things but her colour scheme was greys and whites. Her room was actually quite dark and slightly deprressing.

Ashs P.O.V
"Hiya Lara, did you know some new people have moved into the house that used to be abandoned, we will have to be on the watchout won't we, just incase any of them decided to have a wander in thwe woods..." Then I said sacastically " We don't want them to get eaten by evil savage wolves do we," Lara chuckled then nosely said,"Mmm yeah guess we will have to, so anybody in paticular moved in?"

" A girl thats it... well and I think two boys," I saw her smile at the part about boys.
" Do you think they go to our school or the one on eastside?" she pulled her black hood back and took her skull earphones out, I could easily hear what she was listening to it was some gothy band called My chemical romance or somehting like that. Giving a slight yawn I said," I dunno, I'm gonna go for a run so see ya," I couls see her smile widenning and she teasenly said," Don't you mean your going to spy on them," there was a slight pause and she continued," or is it the girl, well she looks like she is six,you perv," Shaking her head she put her hood up and went into her little world of gothy music. I gave her a wave goodbye but I don't think she noticed.

Elenas P.O.V

I could see the forest from my room, the lake as well which was on the left side of the forest, maybe I should go hiking or explore. Sounds like a great idea and I only have a few days till I start school so why not? I went to hunt down sam and 'sigh' james if they would come too so if a bear wanted to eat someone it wouldn't be me.

"Come on, please why not? Please for meeeeee," I fluttered my eyelashes and did puppy eyes then started to pretend weep. " Then we aren't going, why would we want to do it for you," I gave james a scowl at his snarkiness, I looked at sam thenbegged some more. He just simply said," No, james isn't going so I'm not either," I stopped acting sad then bluntly said," What if I make you a deal?" That got both of their attentions, I really hoped james didn't answer because he would do something stupid but happily sam answered first," Make us breakfast till we start school," I nodded my head, yanked both of their arms till they got of the sofa.
The woods were dark, uninviting, the pine trees were tall making us look like mere ants and me a speck. James and sam were rushing ahead and they had my bad with all my stuff in, I called their names asking them to slow down and wait but then they were gone. A crash of thunder was heard, then it began to drip, drip then the rain got heavier and heavier. Sam and james had my umbrella, they had a pair of very gay teddy bear raincoats which were a very bold pink. I was only wearing thin black tights, tight grey shorts, a thin flimsy top which was now showing my black bra and sticking to me in a way which I disliked. My sneakers were soaked, muddy and filthy, my jewellery was cold as the rain drops on my skin. I was wet, cold and utterly alone.

I slowly treaded, hoping it was some awful joke, the trees gave some protection from the rain but still very little. Fear crept inside of me, making my stomach feel tighter and in knots, I was getting blown back in the strong wind. Blowing against my face, making my wet hair flick in my eyes causing a stinging pain. I shouted but it was a feeble attempt, it was like the wind was blowing my voice away. I saw a girl walking at a fast pace, she was wearing leggings, a grey jumper saying " I was born a bitch, what's your excuse?" she was holding her umbrella up and it was like the wind didn't bother her at all.


I ran, not caring if twigs snapped under my feet, branches caught me, mud ruined my shoes. I stared at her stormy dark eyes which looked almost black, her dark black hair was tangled and in knots but she looked firece. I was afraid of her slightly, she looked at me with pity but acted as if she could smell my fear. Her voice was soft and gentle," Aw what happened to you,don't you know it's not safe to travel in the woods alone..." I knew what she was going to say as she stopped talking especially someone like you.

Looking slightly confused I pointed out," But yourrr al-oone, h-have seen two boys-s,
where a-am I" I was shivering maddly, it made me stutter. She started to walk forward so I did too, she grabbed my wrist and began to drag me along. Her voice wasn't so gentle now in fact it was quite rough and snappy," come on, just face it, you are alone they are probably long gone," Maybe that was why she was warning me about the forest, is it because of crazy people like her?
" Where do you live?" There was a long pause..." Speak up then, where do you live?"
In a very timid voice I replied," In lakeside house, near the lake and the edge of the forest," She shook her head then carried on dragging me and muttered," Come on, your coming to my house, you are soaked," I gave her a little smile and she smiled a bit back. " So, have you just moved here?" I replied back," yeah, which school do you got to?" We continued to walk, my shoes made odd squishy noises at each step but I tried my best to ignore it. " I got to Iona high school, Its an orite place but there are some people which you might want to avoid, I think you will fit in perfectly," I knew what she was thinking but I'm not a mega bitch.

In a large clearing there were wooden houses, mossy browns and slightly aged by the elements, some had little porches, toys left out and other normal things. I never expected for some people to live in the wood but it does seem nice, close to a beach and a lake, in a little peaceful comunity. We walked up onto a white porch with a small wicker chair left out, the girl opened the door and waited for me to coe in then shut it behind me. The smell of a rich musty wood lingered in the air and faint traces of lavender and other flowers lingered. Running up the mahonganny stairs she stopped and motioned for me to follow so I did, there were several rooms, the walls were painted a faint cream colour and pictures hung. She pushed a black door open and the smell of spices overwhelmed my senses.

James P.O.V
We have been home for over an hour now, we weren't sure where Elena was but did it really matter, she was proberly walked home and is in her room now ignoring us like she usually does. if she is still out there and it becomes dark, we will have a look because she wouldn't stay out that late. Football was on the TV, it was actually nice to not have to watch her crap shows, a large banging noise disturbed us so we pressed pause and went to the door. When did Elena start to knock at her own house, she doesn't even knock at other peoples house no matter her own. Pulling the door open, we saw a boy. He had dark brown hair which was wet and dripping in his face, big brown eyes and was wearing just a T-shirt with some trainers and blue jeans. Sam interupted me before I could say something, " Not by any chance, have you seen my sister she was in the woods a few hours ago and hasn't come back," The oy looked curious as soon as sam said that then he muttered with a slight sigh," What does she look like?"

Ashs P.O.V

The morons were arguing with each other, not really caring that their sister has gone missing, clearing my throat they looked at me then one of them said," She has pale blonde hair but I mean pale its liturally white, very pale skin it's like she has never seen the sun, big grey eyes and she was wearing grey shorts, a top and oh yeah she is really small as well only five foot three. We lost her when we got quite deep into the woods so let us know when you find her and yeah this is her number, 07716191303 just if she has her phone on her or sommet so tells us if you find her, bye." They slammed the door in my face, these people were morons, I have no idea how they could do that at all. The girl could be anywhere now and anyone could have found her which could be bad news for her, they didn't even tell me her name. What idiot leaves their little sister in the woods somewhere new, I guess they do.

Lucys P.O.V

I wonder what she was doing in the woods, she looks like she has come from a modern fairytale not the middle of a rainy dark woods, I don't even think she knows the woods aren't safe. I looked through my wardrobe looking for something that would fit her but it was impossible because she was tiny! I came across an old little grey dress, which never fitted me or suit me and I had never worn it because it was just one of those gifts you get and its something you don't like but you keep it to make the person happy. The dress really suited her, she looked like a little angel. " Thanks," Her voice was really soft and she had a little shy smile which could warm the bottom of your heart, I left the room to give her a chance to get changed, I shut the door then my little sister Charley popped up out of no where. She was wearing MY jumper, I was going to kill her! She sneakily smiled then taunted," What ya hidding in your room, wait till dad hears about another hu--," I covered her mouth with my hand then she did the most disgusting thing ever and licked it. I sighed then growled a bit, she backed off and ran downstairs, that would get rid of her for a while.

Ashs P.O.V
I looked around everywhere, but I couldn't find the girl, rushing through the trees, I saw a head of white hair so I walked towards it and just hoped it was the girl. The girl was with... Lucy. I fastly paced over towards Lucy, the girl was holding a bundle of wet sopping clothes, she was wearing a little grey dress, she tilted her head up at me then smiled. She looked quite shy because she kind of half hid behind lucy, she held out a tiny pale hand and said," Hi I'm Elena, I live in the house close to the lake, just moved here," I took her hand and shook it, it was as cold as ice. The breeze blew, her hair fluttered gracefully like a butterfly, the smell of candyfloss and peppermint wafted over, an unusual combination but it smelt divine. Giving her a smile of my own, I introduced myself. " Hi my name is Ash, I live near Lucy," We continued to slowly walk and then I said to lucy," If you want I'll walk Elena home, I know where she lives because her brother asked me to look for her," Lucy smirked at me then mouthed " whatever loverboy" I replied to embarrass her," Whatever Lucifer," She gave me a glare a dementor would be proud of then waved and shouted," Byeeeee Elena, see you around," i turned around, wastching lucy fade into the forest, she was long gone within minutes. I gazed at elena, she giggled when she realised I was staring at her. " so whats is there to do around here?" Her voice was quick and a little inpatient." There is surfing, it's hard to tug around the board but I hae good balence and I love swimming," I remember the old days when I use to surf, when I had time but now I cliff dive, a rush of memories came my way and I gave in. The rush whenI jumped, the wind blowing in my face as I got closer and closer to the water. The cool ipact of water, a tide, the bitter taste of salt and the stinging. Then the laughter of my friends, the yelling and the splashes. "Have you ever tried cliff diving," Not realising I had said it I looked to see a horrified face. "No, I haven't tried anything like that really, I'm kinda afraid of heights but I'm ok with climbing trees," Her eyes gazed up at me, she actually had to lift her face right up just to see mine then she she looked away smiling.

" If you ever want I'll take you cliff diving and don't worry I promise I would keep you safe," I didn't mention my friends because they wouldn't find out, I would get into trouble anyway and so would elena. I would give an arm and a leg to ake sure nobody ran into my friends but it's impossible.

Elenas P.O.V

By the time I had knew it, I was hoe and standing on my creamy porch.
"bye..."
" my name is Ash..." I alredy knew it, why was he repeating it? "... Ash Redthornn," I giggled at his last name, it was really close to my last name. "Whats so funny about my name?!"Deep lines in confusion and fury were etched into his face, he looked insulted." y last name is Blackthornn, Elena Blackthornn," His puckered face relaxed and smiled," Ha, their quite close," I smiled, I smiled a lot it just came naturally and it was like tie and you just couldn't stop it. " See you monday, I've got to go now, you do go to Iona high school, don't you?"
He nodded his head, "bye,"

Changing

Later that night...

The full moon was out, bright and glowing in a bright ghostly aura, darkness surrounded me, I wlked further forward but I could only see trees. I was lost, then I saw ash, well he was different. His eyes were different, they had a dangerous glint which was almost animal like. I heard a deep growl from behind me, I turned around but nothing was there. A chilly breeze came in with a roll of mist which curled around my feet, I rubbed my arms in an attempt to keep warm. Turning to where ash had been, he was gone but then I heard it, deep growls which was so close and whatever it was it was growling my name. Then the squeeling of metal and the shattering of glass and I was dead... Then I woke up, my skin was damp from light sweat and goosebumps raised along my arms, I wasn't boiling hot like I usually woke up. This nightmare was a lot different from the one I usually have but I have never had a dream like this one. I smelt it, a thick curling smopke, It wasn't coming from the house, so where was it coming from? My window was open, I never ever have my window open and I locked it earlier, my black curtains danced in the wind reaching towards me. I climbed out of my bed then looked at the area and saw a flickering fire and poofs of smoke rising, It was a party near the lake, I was known for never missing a party.

I put on my baggy grey and black floral trousers, a plain black vest which had sequins at the top and my tight fit black leather jacket with my furry ugg boots. I climbed out the window, but lodged a book so the window wouldn't close, slid down the roof then climbed onto the beams and slid down that. I began walking but I didn't go into the woods, I walked at the edge of the lake, I could see a large group of people, I couldn't really see their faces een though they were all tall and crouched down. The glow of the bonfire made their faces look sharp and half orange, I moved closer and closer hidding behind a few trees. I saw ash, he was sat on the log next to a few boys who were proberly around his age, I listened to the tales they were telling...

There are not many of us but with every generation we get stronger but not any wiser, It dates back to the first generation. There was a male wolf and a female wolf their life was happy in the heart of the wood, they slept, hunted and ate. But one day an unknown species arived, they were hairless, walked on two feet and carried around unknown things. They stole their prey, endangered them which made them feel the emotion hate and jealousy for the first time. The morning after the feeling of emotion they woke up hairless, deformed bodys which walked on two feet, they had become human. Outcasts to huans they made a comunity for all outcasts no matter what type so first it was werewolves, witches, shapeshifters and all natural creatures.


I got why he said they didn't get any wiser, two boys were fighting over the last cooked hotdog when there was plenty frozen, they were quite weird stories, maybe they were the failies ledgends. I took a step back, slightly afrid of them and their weird culture, I accidently snapped a twig and now faces turned towards the woods and few started to get up. I knocked into a girl, she was small nearly my height but taller, she was a very thin ginger girl with masses of freckles.

Ashs P.O.V
We all heard the twig snap but it must be Nikki or the Henderson twins after all nobody lived close to her except the Blackthornn family but I had checked if they were awake and they were all asleep. I heard screaming.

Elena P.O.V
The girl began to screa and screech an unknown language, I began to run because I was afraid. I could hear angry yells, looking behind me I tripped over a root in the ground but now they had seen me. So I did the only thing I could do. I grabbed the tree, hugging it dearly then started to pull myself up, stepping on branches and reaching for others. I heard ash yell," Come down Elena, It's just me, please come down before you get hurt," I was lodged near the top, stuck as well but I couldn't go down, reaching for my phone I called my brother but nobody picked up.I pressed cancel then surrendered to utter defeat and rang james. " What do you want, Elena,. it's three am, oh let me guess your lonely," the last part was sarcastic. Branches began to shake, two identical brothers were shaking the tree. I screamed and screamed the loudest I ever had, I heard an unknown voice shout," Nobody can hear you so shut the hell up!"
I heard james paniced voice on the phone," Elena whats wrong!" I was losing my grip now, quickly I said. "I'm near the edge of the forest and I'm stuck up a tree and somebody is shaking it," Then I fell, I could feel the air whooshing and I tried to hold branches but I slipped and fell.

Ashs P.O.V

I saw elena falling and then a loud thump. I heard a person cry out but not after a few seconds
I realised it was me who had cried out. Nobody could survive a fall like that, it was at least six stories high, i ran towards her, Her eyes were open but lifeless and unblinking and her eyes were glassy not showing her usual spark. I couldn't see her chest rise or fall, I reached to feel a pulse but Lucas pushed my hand away and shook his head sadly. There was no blood, she wasn't twisted at unuasal angles so how could she be dead. It was like she knew she was going to die,a normal person wouldn't look like that, their face would be twisted with fear but hers was peaceful. I was going to get blamed for this even though it was the stupid cunts that shook the tree and killed her. I got blamed last time, I would some how end up getting blamed for this as well. I heard faint crying, we all heard it, sad faces turned to see a boy crying, his face was twisted with anger but he was a pale grey colour, what could he be? " WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO! I HATE YOU! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!"
I turned to look at elena but they body was gone, she couldn't have gone, unless, unless...

Sams P.O.V
I tossed and turned, I was in a forest, I could hear elena scream which was torture. She was up at the top of the tree holding on for dear life and then she was falling. I tried to catch her but she fell through me and fell to the ground. Her grey eyes were open and lifeless but her violet flecks seemed to swirl and move.

James P.O.V

I saw a group of people, around a tree with looks of horror and shock, I walked closer and said," Where is Elena," Nobody answered me so I shouted," Where is Elena!!!!" Eerie silence filled the air, I shouted curses at them but nobody answered so I left in a fit of rage.

Sams P.O.V

I woke up, after the dream I went straight to elena's room to see if she was alright because that dream had terrified me, she wasn't to be seen but then I heard a faint whimpering. She was hidding in her cupboard, she was filthy, caked with mud. She was clunched up in terror, her hands ridgid and her eyes wide and open, I reached out to comfort her but she flinched away.
What had happened to her? Maybe that dream was some type of sign.

Surprises

That morning...
I took a shower, then got dressed and put my makeup on, I went for a natural look. To wear I picked out black skinny jeans with grey flowers on and a black top with a pink heart and my grey hoodie. I walked past my brother, not looking at him," Happy birthday Elena," I turned to face him, then took the present out of his hand and whispered," Thank you," Itf was valintines day and my birthday.

Sams P.O.V

I don't know what happened to my sister last night but I know that it has dramatically changed her in so little time, she loves to wear anything which is her defination of cute and girly but that wasn't her style. She was too quiet but not the shy cute quiet and she hasn't even smiled.

Elenas P.O.V
It was my first day, for my birthday I got a car which I drove to school, I got a convertable which was a grey sports car. It was valentines day, a day which I had always loved but it seemed to have no meaning to me anymore, I had no friends and nobody knew me. When I parked up, people stared at me, making me feel too exposed, I rushed straight into school, the bell had already gone. I looked at my timetable but I wasn't sure where my class was, It took me quite a while to find it but when I did I was very late. The teacher was a man in his late fifties, he was as wrinkled as old aged leather. "Why are you late?" He snapped.
"I didn't know where the room was,"
"You don't fool me, now sit in your seat," I felt like cursing at the teacher.
"I DON'T HAVE A SEAT!"
" HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT, OFFICE NOW!" I slammed the door then just wandered around for half an hour but as I passed the room again, I was ordered to come in.

" well, sit down now!" I scowled. I put my hands on my hips, then slanted to one side, I was looking round the class but I fluffed my hair and sharply replied," Get it through you thick head, I do not havve a seat, I am new, My name is elena blackthornn," I said it really slowly as I insulted the teacher. He looked at the register then pointed to an empty seat next to this orange girl with red hair. I pulled the plastic stool out then sat," Why are you dressed like that? Its like well warm, your a freak," Giving her a glare I replied," Well I'm dressed like this because I felt like it and only because I don't dress like a stripper doesn't make me a freak, you stupid slut,"
" pale freak,"
"Did you fall into a vat of orange juice? Or did you get left in the sun too long, ust be that because your brains are obviously fried,"
I smiled sweetly at her as her mouth dropped open.

The bell rang, I grabbed my stuff and left. A boy struggled to catch up and said " Wow, nobody says stuff like that to princess ella," The last part was said sarcastically. I looked at her as she walked by, she flicked her hair then pulled down her short dress which was more like a top.
" My name is josh Orwell, so you new?" He looked at me with his big brown eyes, he was twisted sideays so he could face me. "Yep, my name is Elena Blackthornn and not by any chance you know where room sixty three is?"

"Isn't the name Elena russian, yeah I'm in that room next and nice to meet you," It turned to face him and whilst I wasn't looking I bashed into somebody and their bag fell to the floor. He was about six foot something and angry. I looked at him then put on my old act," I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking, it was all my fault. Hi my name is Elena," I said really sweetly, I pulled my hood back and gave him a reall sweet shy smile and picked up his bag then gave it to him. He didn't look so angry anymore, I tilted my head to the side and smiled even more, he grunted and said,"My names Kyle and sos bout shoutin," His friends behind were staring, so I blushed a little from all the attention. " It's no problem, It was my fault because I walked into you, I've got to go but see you around,"

" see ya," He still stood with his friend talking and not even bothering to go to class. I gave him a little wave and he was now smiling.
Josh was just staring with awe," How did you do that, Kyle is like a wild animal, he would have beaten you to death for doing that," I looked at him with dibelief but josh just nodded.
I listened to kyle and his friends talking...

The blonde haired boy said teasingly," Oooh Kyle, you in love or are you going soft?"
Another guy said," She is hot, a bit small for you kylie but not too small for me," He had dirty blonde colored hair, was noticably smaller than the others and had a big grin on his face.
"Kyle she's looking, talk about something else," I walked to class but peeked out of my eye and they were staring at me. I was sat next to lucy that lesson,the teacher blabbed on about the second world war, I think and then a scrunched up piece of paper landed on my desk. I unfolded it and it said.

I think you fit, meet at tree at lunch, eat dinner with me and my friends, talk to max as well, he will show you round school xxxx Kyle


I laughed out loud, the blonde guy who I thought was called max sirked then gave a playful wink, he motioned to kyle then mouthed" Don't break his dear heart"

" Miss blackthornn, what is so funny about thousands of people dying?" I looked at the teacher, she had sweat dripping down her lady tash, her hair was a mess and her blouse was wrinkled. I shrugged my shoulders, the bell went and I left but caught up with josh.
" What were you laughing about?" I passed him the note and he stiffled a laugh.
" Come and eat lunch near the big tree, pwetty pwease," He laughed then nodded. We walked onto the field, there were loads of clusters of people on the field but they all stayed away from the tree. I could faintly hear max saying," Bet Elena is going to come and eat lunch with us, after all what girl can resist me,"

Me and josh sat at least five metres away from them, I waved and chatted to josh. I was still listening to their convasation.
Kyle was laughing," I think every girl can resist you, just look she is sitting over there with another boy," Max got up and he was heading this way, he picked me up, I kicked my feet in the air and giggled. Max just said," Told ya so,"

I faked fear badly then said," Oh someone save me, I'm being held hostage,"
That earned a laugh and unfortunatly made max hooked his arms around my waist then whispered in my ear, his breath tickling me," yes, my hostage and I'm not letting go," the whole time he did not let go, no joke. A boy with black hair, wicked green eyes and a small smile said," so, what do you think of school so far?" I tapped my finger on my chin then said," Um its been crap but some things have made it better," I had joined in with most chatter and it was fun, max whispered in my ear," same time, same place, hostage,"

The day had been boring but I had been invited to a party, max and kyle and their friends were going to be there, I couldn't wait. I heard the hum of my phone, I had two text messages and three bbms and a facebook notifaction. I clicked on my texts then noticed both were from unknown numbers.

I closed the message, great it's my first day and I'm already gtting creepy texts. I clicked onto the other text message and with relief it wasn't the same number.

I tried to text back when it failed to send, no credit? I wondered who it was, must be kyle or max, I would use the house phone but it doesn't work at the moment.

I opened the door then ran upstairs to my room planning what to wear and that, it was half four so I had at least three hours. I turned the bath taps on, the clear water gushed out and the room became moist and steamy, I looked at the mirror then wipped it clean, I grabbed my pink bubble bath that smelt like roses and splashed a load in, the bubbles pilled higher and higher till the taps went to a slow drip, I had used all the hot water. Bt my brother will be happy, he has just had football and I've tried cheerleading, so I know he will want a quick shower but I need my big long bath more. I stripped then climbd in, the hot water scalded my skin but it felt good, I scrubbed till I went red, making sure I was clean then grabbed my passion fruit shampoo, squeezed load and and gently massaged it into my hair and dunked my self under the water to wash it all out. I grabbed a white towel then dried my self off, I grabbed my protective hairspray then sprayed it onto my hair then dried it. It gave off a nice aroma, now I was dry I could decided what to wear.

I picked a red tight dress which was shorter then midthigh, it was lacy and had flowers sewn in, I left my hair down, it was very shiny and soft, which was what I was aiming for, I wore my diamand necklace with black jet intwined. For my makeup, I wore a pale foudation, dark thick eyeliner and sparkily black eyeshadow, I had a light blush. The smokey eyed look made my eye look more clearer and focused. I smiled at my reflection then got changed, I looked again at the mirror then lookec at the clock in orror realising it was amost eight and had to walk all the way over to the lake would at least take five or ten minutes to get there in these heels.
I rushed down the stairs, grabbing my bag then slammed the door behind me an lituarally ran to the lake, I saw two dark figures and realised it must be kyle and max but as I got closer I saw they were both blonde, I said," Hiya," Thiking it was max nd a frend, they turned around, it wasn't the and it was the henderson brothers. They were both good looking, tall blonde and with the same playful looking blue eyes. I walked abit further back, trying to put distance between us then coldly said," How did you get my number?"
The one on the left smiled then said," From your brother, we met him at football practise an well my brother, seth, saw you and wanted to know if you wanted to come to the party with us and sam said you love going to parties so he gave us your number,"
I relaxed then said," Haha, theres me panicing your both creepy murders but your not, yeah sure I'll go, was going with max and kyle but it doesn't matter," They both froze at the mention of them and said," I would be careful around those lot, we have lived here a long time and have heard the stories about kyle and his crew so just be careful, ok? Now lets go get pissed, I'm faolan and this is seth," I followed them into the woods and there was a fire ad loads of people,I drank drink after drink till they all blured into one, I swayed and staggered about till I collapsed onto the floor but the last thing I remembered was being picked up.

I woke in Seths bed, he was laid beside me and in horror I realised that I had slept with him, I carefully got up and changed, slowly trying to sneak out, I was too close to the bed and seth grabbed me and pulled me back into bed, he was still asleep but he had me in a tight grasp. I felt sightly sick and the room started to spin and darkness came.
