Sometimes I dream that He is me

And the He I speak of exists upstairs only

He is a combination of all types of personalities you see

Because when all rolled up together it creates the most

perfect human be(ing)

For years I’ve found myself dealing with the theft of my

identity

By a He who believes I’m just a memory

It’s during those times I am at peace with my new self

esteem

Making money, taking care of my responsibilities, you know…

the American Dream

But nothing lasts forever if you know what I mean

Eventually you’re forced to face reality and return to the

scene

As time goes by and you start to learn why

We laugh, we joke, and we get emotional and cry

God gives us the ability to interact with all kinds

To experience the highs and lows from those with whom we

align

Its from these random encounters that I can learn a lot

And create the He that I am not

So when I dream that He is me

I dream a dream that only I can see

But to the world exists only He

Not a master of disguise or a cheap imitation of I

The new and improved me is actually a hybrid version of he

And I have elected to emerge from the shadows and be all

that I can be
