GAUGE: 5 sts = 1".
NOTE: Work only in front loop of st throughout Pat. St.
With MC, ch 342 sts; turn. Dc in 4th ch from hook and start Pat. St as follows: Rows 1 & 2: Using MC, dc in each ch across; ch 3, turn. Row 3: Changing to CC and working over MC strand to hold it in place at top of last row, * dc in each of the first 3 dc; changing to MC when working off the last 2 loops of 3rd dc; using MC and working over the CC strand, dc in each of the next 11 dc, changing to CC when working off last 2 loops of 11th dc *; repeat from * to * across, always changing colors in last dc of each group. Ch 3, turn. Rows 4 & 5: Using MC, dc in each dc across. Ch 3, turn. Row 6: Using MC and working over CC strand to hold it in place at top of last row, dc in each of the first 7 dc; changing to CC when working off last 2 loops of 7th dc; * using CC and working over the MC strand, dc in each of the 3 dc, changing to MC when working off last 2 loops of 3rd dc; using MC and working over the CC strand, dc in each of the next 11 dc, changing to CC when working off last 2 loops of the 11th dc *; repeat from * to * across. Ch 3, turn. Repeat these 6 rows for Pat. St until stole measures desired width, ending with Rows 1 and 2. Do not block.
FRINGE: Make with CC. Wind yarn around a cardboard 7" wide or desired length of fringe. Cut through yarn at one end only (each strand will be double the width of cardboard). Fold desired number of strands in half, insert crochet hook from right side of stole through first st at end of stole, draw looped end of folded strands through. Draw ends through loop and tighten. Trim ends evenly.

GAUGE: 4 s c = 1 inch. Each puff st row measures 1⅛ inch.
With White ch 9 very loosely, yarn over, insert hook in 7th st from hook, pull loop up 1⅛ inch, yarn over, insert hook in same space, pull loop up 1⅛ inch, yarn over, pull loop through 4 loops on hook, yarn over and pull loop through remaining 2 loops on hook (puff st), * yarn over, insert hook in same ch, pull loop up 1⅛ inch, repeat from * once, yarn over, pull through 4 loops, yarn over and pull through 2 loops (another puff st made), repeat from 1st * twice, work 4 more puff sts in each of the next 2 sts of ch (12 puff sts), ch 1, turn. 2nd Row. 1 s c in 1st puff st, 2 s c in next puff st (an increase), * 1 s c in next puff st, 2 s c in next puff st, repeat from * 4 times, turn. 3rd Row. Ch 6, work 1 puff st in each s c, increasing 8 puff sts evenly spaced
