Present

My eyes open, and the walls are different. I've seen it once. The white walls, the uncomfortable bed, the flowers. 

My family.

I widen my eyes, my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister, and my aunt. They all look in tears and they look up at me instantly, smiling. "Julianne..?" My mom tries to touch my arm but I pull back and hiss. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" I scream.

I see someone barge in the door. A white coat, clipboard man. Dang it has to be the doctor.

"What is the meaning of this racket?!" The doctor almost yells. Mom shakes her head and her arm shakes where she tried to touch me. "Julianne, do you remember anything?" He asks me, squinting at me. I look at him and shake my head. I let out a hoarse whisper, "All I remember is a dreadful accident." I clench my fist, looking at the strangers.

"Do you know who your family is?"

I look at them and nod, "I remember them, too." "I-I'm sorry I screamed, I thought you'd hate me for this 'accident'." 

Mom hugs me and I try to pull away, "We would never, but you should have told us what you did!"

I hug her back, a faint smile on my face. "I-I'm sorry." I whisper once again. "At least your fine." Dad and my family all whisper, and all group hug me. I feel my eyes swell up with tears. 

"OH, I LOVE YOU!"
