Part 7- “Interactions and reunions.”

Master Laura and her apprentice of three years-Candice-walked along what became the main entrance pathway used by the research camp. They headed past the heavy stone building with the markings inside toward the open area next to it where most of the Hierarchy members sat around. It looked as if that small square was used as a sports area when the colonists lived there.
Laura and Candice recognized some of the command staff sitting among some of the Hierarchy Warriors-both light and heavy troopers-watching Masters Schönberg and Alicia practicing their swordplay.
Candice only knew a few of the commanders and asked her master in her Irish accent who were practicing.
"THAT'S Master Alicia!” She paused. “Strong woman." She commented. Seeing how Alicia looked model-like and athletic at the same time. Candice knew all the names, but not some of their faces.
"She's one of our strongest female fighters." Laura said.
"This is the first time I've seen Schönberg outside of pictures, Master, but he IS just handsome as in his photos." The two laughed lightly.
Candice liked the look of a Hierarchy commander, especially if in uniform. She imagined that Schönberg would look fantastic in his dress uniform if he looked so appealing in only his training gear.
"I can see why Alicia likes HIM." Candice added.
"Yeah, and that's the only time they ever fight-martial art practice."
"Lucky girl." Almost chuckling.
"Schönberg was my Brother's apprentice."
"Is he the one often paired-up with Master Gehrig for missions?"
"Yes. (Then added after a pause) In fact, out of all the missions Master-Superior Eric's group have been assigned to, Gehrig had participated in most of them."
"That dedicated huh?"
"Yes, and it's his availability which makes him reliable as well, he doesn't do anything in his spare time except perfect his skills. He doesn't have an apprentice he doesn't teach any classes or have any family commitments. If he's ever needed, he'd simply cancel his training sessions and prepare himself for missions."
It seemed amazing to Candice that someone 19-the same age she is-already had so much experience and dedication to his team.
"So who's stronger?" Candice asked.
"Well, Gehrig is a great swordsman but averages 40 out of 100 wins against Schönberg."
"Your Brother must be a great teacher."
