Dancing Duck

Once upon a time there was a little duck called Emma. Her home was a small lily pond. Emma`s life was simple and easy. Every day she swam from one end of the pond to the other, enjoyed the dragonflies and the quacking frogs. Year after year went by.

But one day the little duck thought about change.

“Day in and day out it is boring. Nothing ever happens. I can`t stand this anymore. I want to go away and have adventures!”

Her parents were very surprised and shocked. Her mother hugged her.

“Dear Emma, please stay with us, the world is a dangerous place!”

“Mother, don`t worry. Nothing bad will happen!” Emma said confidently. She had the feeling that she could cope with everything.

“Take good care of yourself!” her dad said. “Call us when you need help!”

“Why would I need any help?” Emma wondered. She rolled her eyes. Her parents sometimes got on her nerves.

After she had walked for a while she met a mighty moose. The moose was standing on a meadow near the forest eating green grass.

“Hi moose! Are you happy?” Emma asked curiously.

“Yes, I am!” answered the moose and
