When I was working as development team leader for this gambling company, the particularity of my team was that members could not produce new functionalities but were fixing bugs to maintain the brands instead.
This is chaos mode. I put all my energy during months to "get the team out of this specific chaos mode" and succeeded. But, when my team was finally able to produce new functionalities, fresh new requests from product owners and stakeholders began to show up like riffle bursts. And guess what, chaos started again!
These are new chaos we experienced:
1. Not enough time to handle all requests according to schedule.
2. When time was not lacking, quality of delivery was.
In other terms, during this experience, two chaos replaced the first one, and more globally, I noticed that one chaos always replaces another, in such a way that it is impossible to get out of it.
"You can not get out of chaos, you can just master chaos". The only way to get out of chaos for an organization or a human, is to die.
Same principle applies to your relationship. It is impossible to get out of disputes in your relationship for an entire life, unless it's over and you are no more in touch. When you know how to master disputes and various chaos in your relationship, you can cross all rivers and mountains possible on your path. Like the sond, ain't no mountain high enough.
"You can not get out of chaos, you can just master chaos".
Then, what is good chaos bad chaos?
It is really strange that everybody seems to be afraid of chaos. "Chaos is bad", "let's get out of chaos absolutely", "Order by chaos is a conspiracy of the elite"...
