100% of kids have been bullied at some point in life, some worse than others. If a kid asks anything like 'am i ugly?' or 'am i a nice person?' or has been in an unusual mood its probably 80% because of school. School is the most social place they will go in their life and for a long time so anything that really bothers them will stay in their memory for a long time so it's important for them to get over it quickly. Never, ever send a kid to counseling without them asking themselves! But you can mension it by all means! As a parent you will want to help as much as you can but just wait untill they come to you otherwise they will think of you as meddling, annoying or nosy. It may seem strange but try talking to them as if they are friends; be laid back, swear, try to see it from their point of veiw but don't let them oppose everything you say- if they do, have a go at them and ignore them. They obviously don't want your help!
