While the birds walk down the lane,
And the cats stand on their hind legs,
The fish learn to stand.

And the kangaroos begin to run
Faster than the lions hopping beside them.
And still the fish learn to stand,

The antelope suddenly fly
While the raccoon lives underwater
And still the fish learn to stand.

Well, the birds take back to the skies.
And the cats take back to four.
When the kangaroos forget to run
And the lion catches up.
The antelopes fall from the sky
And the raccoon takes to the land.
But the fish, still asleep,
Finally learns to stand.
