Whitney Houston
I propose to write a biographical research paper about Whitney Houston someone who is a very good singer and a very good actor. Whitney inspired people with her songs at first, until she started doing drugs. She killed herself over time by using drugs, but before she stared using drugs. I thought Whitney was a wonderful person. Everyone else thought the same thing that I did. But I think when she married Bobby Brown her life went down hill. Then when she found Ray J her life was so wonderful. She got off all the drugs until one day she was partying with her daughter.
She has played in a lot of movies like: Waiting to Exhale, The Bodyguard and Cinderella the Brandy Version. She also made a lot of songs mostly gospel songs and she sung songs off of The Bodyguard and Cinderella the Brandy Version. The songs off of The Bodyguard are: “I will always love you”, “I have nothing”, “I'm every woman”, “Run to you”, “Queen of the night”, and “Jesus loves me”. The songs off of Cinderella are: “Impossible” and “There is music in you”. She also made more songs they are called: “Joy to the world”, “Joy”, “Nobody loves me like the way you do”, “After we make love”, “All the man that I need”, “I love the lord”, “Saving all my love for you”, “Like I never left”, “You light up my life”, and “God Bless America”. She made a lot more but this is all I know and dearly love. I believe Whitney was an awesome person, other than doing drugs. She showed everybody why she she sung her music. She was a person that lift our spirits up
Whitney Houston whole name was Whitney Elizabeth Houston. She was born August 9th, 1963, her home town or birthplace was Newark, NJ. Whitney was Religion, a Baptist and her Occupation was a singer. She was a very beautiful singer. Her songs came from her heart. She loved to go to church all the time and sing. She also loved to sing gospel music; all of her songs were gospel.
Whitney Houston was a fashion model before becoming a singer, and as a teen appeared on the cover of Glamour. Whitney Houston had seven consecutive 'number one' hit singles, and had 'twenty-three' songs reach the Top Ten. Her 1993 cover of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" remains one of the best-selling songs of all time.
Whitney Houston's mother, noted R&B singer Cissy Houston, recorded "Midnight Train to Georgia" years before Gladys Knight & the Pips. Cissy's group the Sweet Inspirations also sang back-up on many Aretha Franklin and Elvis Presley hits. Dionne and Dee Dee Warwick are Whitney Houston's cousins. Her parents divorced when Whitney was in kindergarten, but her father acted as her business manager through Whitney Houston's rise. He later sued to receive millions in past due compensation. He died in 2003, and his suit was dismissed in 2004.
For years there were perpetual whispers that Whitney Houston had an eating disorder or, more obviously, drug problems. She was in and out of rehab repeatedly, to overcome reported addictions to cocaine, marijuana, and assorted pills. In January 2000, Whitney Houston was arrested at an airport checkpoint after two plastic baggies of marijuana and three partially smoked joints were found in her luggage. She eventually reached a plea bargain, and despite missing the court's deadline to submit proof of passing a substance-abuse evaluation, her police record was wiped clean five months later. Once literally "movie star beautiful" in films like The Bodyguard and Waiting to Exhale, photos of the latter-day Whitney Houston were shocking -- in her rare public appearances, she was frequently referred as "frightfully emaciated," "skeletal and frail" "scarily skinny," etc.
In 2002, she told Diane Sawyer, "First of all, let's get one thing straight. Crack is cheap. I make too much for me to ever smoke crack. Let's get that straight, okay? We don't do crack. We don't do that. Crack is wack." She didn't do crack she did coke, but she did stop using drugs for her movies and before she started singing and writing her music. In 2003, her husband, singer Bobby Brown, was charged with battery after an argument with Whitney Houston left her with facial injuries. In 2005, she was hospitalized with what was called food poisoning.
Whitney has a 18 year old daughter name, Bobbi Kristina. She had her when she was married to Bobby Brown. Whitney and Bobby got divorced back in April 24th, 2007. After Whitney and Bobby got divorced she started dating a rapper name Ray J. Whitney had two miscarriages in 1994 and 1996.
Whitney has 6 Grammes: Grammy 1985, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, for "Saving All My Love For You", Grammy 1987, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, for "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", Grammy 1993, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, for "I Will Always Love You", Grammy 1993, Album of the Year, for The Bodyguard soundtrack, Grammy 1993, Record of the Year, for "I Will Always Love You", Grammy 1999, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, for "It's Not Right But It's Okay"
