Gwen

Chapter 1:
Anything but normal is going on here.
I knew it was true from the moment I stepped through the doors.Mom said this is what it would, be like.The silent treatment. My kind of people errrrr....My kind of creatures. Let me tell you I'm a witch. And a damn good one too. So good that, infact I was just kicked out of the only witch friendly private school in the country. So it was move to transilvania or public school. So now here I am,walking torwards the office to get my class schedule. Thud!What ever dumb ass just tripped me will pay. I stood up with a fire ball in my hand,ready to toss.

"Ok,now we know.She is one of us." A demon said.

"Dumb ass demons." I muttered as I reached down for my books. They were gone.

I looked up and saw a kind faced,broad shouldered elf.She smiled and handed me my books then smiled some more."Thanks"I said cheerfully.

"No problem.I'm Sally.I'm an elf obviously."

"I'm Gwen.And if you saw my lovely display you would know I'm a witch."

"You were right to challenge those jerks. They are rising to power way to fast."

"Thanks.Do you know how to get to the main office." "Of course!Take the 1st left,then open the 2nd door to the left." I hopped on my broom and zipped around the corner.

I must have been going way to fast cause I ran into the cutest boy ever.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry!"

I dug through my pouch for some healing berries.I found some and shoved one in his mouth.

"So sorry! But,I really gotta go."

I dove into the main ofice.I wasn't surprised to find a ghost crying and stappling papers at a desk."wait with her!" The ghost wailed and pointed to an empty seat next to a girl with black hair and a smirk on her face.I sat down and looked at my map of the school.

"What are you in for?" It took me a mintueto realize that the girl was speaking. Her words made me want to listen.She must be a wizard.

"Nothing.This is my first day and I need to pick up my schedule. Unless someone reported me ALMOST throwing a fire ball at an annoying demon."

"What thats all!You will be lucky if a teacher notices a scortch mark.I'm Annabelle by the way."

"Well what did u do?"

"All I did was hex a cheerleader to make her do everything backwards."

"All you did! At my last school I.....!" I was cut-off by the voice of a sweet old lady.

"Deary, you can come in now."

As I walked out I saw a cross-eyed cheerleader walknig backwards out of the office.That's when I saw her.

That sweet old lady voice belonged to a bridge troll. A very ugly bridge troll. How did I know it errr,she was one? Easy, she had a paper wieght of a bridge that said Bridge Sweet Bridge.

"Oh cruel child! What have they done to you at that sweety school!" She looked terrified. "Your hats' to sharp, your hems to neat.Your hairs' to perfect and your skin is too flawless. "The more she talked the happier she became. "We haven't had such a beautiful witch in years! Sure we have had some nice vampires and lovely wizards, but we haven't had such a witch in,what is it 10 years?"

"Uhhh...."

"Oh my, your flustered! Well here is you schedule. I told Meagan,the ghost,to have annabelle wait for you.She and you have the same schedule.Goodbye!"

As I walked out I heard the pricipals voice chime"Next please!" In the waiting room I saw a goth girl holding a fish stand up. I wondered if I should ask,but I saw Annabelle waiting impaiently and decided adainst it.

"Finally!I thought you would never finish. Now we are 15 minutes late to Spells 2. Today we are learning about love spells." She sounded so agitated that I couldn't help myself.

"Oh La La!" We both cracked up. We stopped laughing when the two biggest jack asses in the school materialized.

"Well,well,well what do we have hear, a witch and a wizard out for a stroll?" They both said it in unison.It was clear that they did everything this way.

"Unless you want your emotions to pour out,leve Gwen alone and beat it Sasha and Patrick!"

"Do your worst." They laughed.

Just as Annabelle took out her wand a klutzy angel fell from the cieling.

Once she got on to her feet she started shouting."No fighting I am the hall monitor and I do not like fighting." she screamed.

"What are you gonna do about it Kayla?

" "I'll tell you what...Oh! Hi! I'm Kayla you must be new.I like white-"

"Kayla!" Annabelle smapped and pointed to where the brothers had been just moments before.

"Oops! Lost 'em again! Well maybe I will get them next time.Bye-Bye" And she was gone as suddenly as she had arrived.

"Come on, class is half way over!" Annabelle grabbed my hand and pulled torwards class.

"I'm so sorry I'm late for class Mrs.Spellman,please excuse me for I am showing our new student to her classes."

"Well that is no reason to be late. I see no reason why you can't be on time for class.'She said impaiently.

"Well, the truth is we were stopped by demons in the hall by demons. Oh were ok a hall monitor broke-up the fight before it started." Annabelle said it like she was the angel not Kayla.

"Oh! Deary me those demons cause so much trouble or as a wise man once said 'They have a habit for raising hell.' Any ways take your seats,we are talking about uses for love spells."

"I have one!You can use them for binding two people in love." A fairy said.

"Excellent Molly, Any others."She scanned the room for a good person to call on,someone who would not disappiont.

"Yes Holly,give us your use."

"Well you can use it to unbind love to half unbind love."A girl who looked identical to Molly said."Perfect!Can anyone tell us what it means to half unbind love?"

I raised my hand instantly.I couldn't help myself, the question was just to easy."To half unbind love you make it so that one of the pair madly loves the other while,they one whom they love only loath them."

"Perfect answer.Today we will learn how to bind two lovers.Next class we will have unbind them.And in two classes we will fully unbind them."This made the class erupt in questions.Who will the lovers be?What if we mess up? Will we have to cast on ourselves? As soon as Mrs.Spellman started talknig the class hushed.

"For this project the class will split in half.One half will be casters the others lovers.Then we will switch. Understood?"

"Yes Mrs.Spellman" The entire class said at once.

"Ok! Everyone pick a partner!" Instantly I chose Annabelle and she chose me. It was like pycics or something.

"Everyone have a partner?Good.Now one partner go to that half and the other that side.Your partner will cast on you.Your lover will be chosen out of a group that shall come in, in a minute.Any questions?"

"Nope" About half the classs said.

"Come on in guys!"She shouted torwards the door and it opened and in walked 12 hot guys!

She gestured to Annabelle's half."This half can pick first,cast second."

Annabelle ran to a cuteish boy that was unmistakenly a werewolf. He had slightly pointed teeth and skin that looked almost fuzzy. This was gonna be fun!

Annabelle

I gave Mason a big hug.

"Hey Annabelle."He said once I let go. I waved Gwen over to me.

"Gwen this is my boyfriend Mason.He's a werewolf.Mason this is Gwen."

"Nice to meet you Gwen. What mystical creature are you?" said Mason.

"Oh I'm a witch I just got kicked out of private school.Hey,Annabelle everyone is pairing up and I still dont have a partner." Gwen said.

"I got a great idea." I walked over to my friend and brought him back for Gwen.

"Gwen this is Steven. He is a demi-god.Steven, Gwen here is a witch." I said.

"Oh my god Annabelle that's the dude i ran into in the hallway earlier." Gwen whispered.

"It's also the guy I'm setting you up with so take him or leave him."I said.

"So as you know I'm Steven.I'm a demi-god,son of Hades."Steven explains.

"Wow!" Gwen exclaimed."Well I'm a witch. The one that ran over you in the hallway."

"Oh that was you!?"replies Steven.

"Yeah,sorry!"

"Ok time to start the spells-" A bell rang to switch classes.

"-We will start tomorrow.Bye!"says Mrs.Spellman.

"Ok Gwen our next class is my favorite........Battle Techniques!!" I told Gwen."Steven and Mason have it with us so let's hurry."I grabbed them and walked out the door.We walk into Battle Techniques and already there is The Demon Brother's ."Be careful of those four they are known around the school for evil pranks and only trusting and being relitively nice to a couple people. I'm one of those people so follow me." I whispered to Gwen. Mason,Gwen and me walked up to the demons.

"Who is she?"Jag said with an evil expression.

"Dude she's cool ok?" I said trying to restrict him seeing the look in his eyes.

"What is she and where did she come from?"Steven Gruner said as i saw Patrick and Sasha walk away.

"She's a witch, got kicked out of private school. Ok, she's really cool.......so far.But putting that aside I'm going to kick your asses in this class!"I said cofidentely.Steven E. beckoned Gwen back.

"I'd stay away from them if I were you.Annabelle and Mason are the only werewolf sided people they like."Steven explained.

"What's so special about Annabelle and Mason?"

"Annabelle can cast powerful spells and has a lot of magical items stored away that can be used for there pranks. And she's best friends with Emily Thomas she a shapeshifter. With that the demons can do anything."Steven explained.

"Aliright class I am Mr. Holloway your Battle Techniques instructor.Through the year we are going to learn many different styles of fighting.First everyone find a fighting partner. I immediately ran to Jag with competion in my step.

"Your going down!"I told him.

"Only after you drop!"Jag replied.

"Gwen find a partner you don't like.Hey, how about Gwen Crew she'e a vampire.Try her." I said.Looking around I saw Steven E. with Patrick and steven G, with Mason.

"Ok, so everyone has a partner,great.We are going to start with kickboxing no powers at all.We are going what see what you know so far. Alright on your mark get...set...fight!"

Punching and kicking erupted from everyhere.Blood was being shed,with no mercy.I landed a clean punch under Jag's eye.That left a nice bruise.Then I got a kick that knocked him down.Somehow he got back up a little too quickly and he managed to knock me off my balance and pin me down.

"Lucky shot,I'll get you during the magic techniques just watch!" I said as he laughed and helped me up.

"Looks like most people are still in the middle of their fights."I told Jag

."Yeah I see but doesnt look like enough blood to stain the class though."He said jokingly.I laughed

"Yeah too bad!"I said sarcasticly.We laughed together.

"I'll meet you next class I got with you."I told him.

"Ok see you then."He said as he walked off to his brothers.I ran over to Steven E. and Gwen.

"How were your fights?"I asked them.

"I got my ass kicked by Gwen Crew." Gwen said.

"Oh,well I won mine."Steven said.

"How bout you?"They both asked.

"I also lost but I'll get him in the magic portion."

"By Jag?!" Steven asked shocked.

"Yes,he is actually stronger then you give him credit for. Come on, it's lunch time." I said.

After going to our lockers we went in to the cafeteria.

"Here's a map of all the tables.Choose wisely!" I said as I ran to my table with Mason."Ok leave me here,yeah ok."Gwen said with a sigh.She saw Steven and ran to him.

"I don't have a table to sit at so can I sit here?" Gwen asked.

"Sure,everyone this is my new girlfriend and the new girl Gwen,she's a witch."Steven told the group of demi-gods.Gwen blushed as many different 'Hi's' and 'Welcomes' were said. I glanced over and saw Gwen and smiled.

"What are you smiling at?" Mason asked.

"Oh the new girl Gwen, she's fitting in nicely."I replied.

"Yeah, I guess so but I don't think the demons like her." Mason said."Yeah I knew that wasn't gonna happen,she's going out with Steven E.Through the looks of it she has her group."I told him.

"Yeah I'm surpirised they let me in here."

"It's to keep me happy." He lowered his voice to a whisper."You know we will have to kill them in a fight."

"Maybe we can kill the ones that make me mad and keep the ones we like?" I whispered back. Before he replyedhe could respond Sasha yelled to us.

"What are you guys whispering over there."he said harshly.I stood up in his face and yelled back.

"I don't think it's any of your fucking business Sasha." I said back.

A teacher looked up from her papers. "Annabelle to the prinipal's office.Now!" She said.

"Damnit." I muttered loud enough for her to hear. I said bye to Mason and went down to the office.

As I walked in I was welcomed by a harsh "You Again!" from Meagan G.

"Shut up bitch!"I yelled back."Just because I can go through you doen't mean a witch can't banish your ass."I said back with a smirk.

"Just sit down and wait." She said. And then i herd someone at the door.


The person, breaking down the door to come in,finally made it in. It was Gwen. "Why are you here?" I asked.

"I heard you got sent here." she replied.

"Wow! It's cool but you can't leave a place just cause I'm here, that would be way too often."

" Oh, ok that's not why I'm here though.I wanted to tell you I have a boy-"

"-friend yeah I know." I interrupted.

"How did you know?"

"I saw you blushing from my seat."

"oh, woops I wonder if anyone else noticed.?"

"I don't know but it's my turn for the office." So I left her there nodding a yes and talking with Meagan."Oh, well I'm sorry but it looks like Annabelle is done so I have to go.Bye nice meeting you."

she said as I passed Meagan and grabbed Gwen to leave.

"That was mean Annabelle."Gwen said.

"It's cause she's mean to me. Let's go we survival next. Come on." We walked in with some time to talk so I sat in the middle of Mason and Gwen with Jag, Steven G. and Sasha behind us. Just as I saw a blonde haired shapeshifter walk in i ran to her!

"Emily!" I shouted with excitement.

"I haven't seen you since last school year."

"Hey Annabelle!Who is she?" She asked pointing at Gwen.

"It's rude to point." Gwen said and went back to her conversation.

"Oh that's Gwen new girl, a witch." I explained.

"Oh nice to meet you. Emily a shapeshifter."

"Hey nice to meet you too." Said Gwen.The teacher walked in and began teaching.Midway through class I got a note from Emily that read:

I can feel the war getting closer and we are not done preparing

I wrote back saying:


Today we will do more. Send the new girl in my place I'll play babysister with the demons.I'll tell her to meet me in front of the school.

It made it's way to Emily and she looked up and nodded. Next thing I realize the bell rang. I walked with Emily to science.

"We have to collect more ammo."I told her.

"I can get some from Conor.He's in our next class."

"Great now what about our shortage of potions, new girl doesn't even know about the war."

"We will teach her how to fight without magic,most witches can't, and in return we will get some poitions out of her."

"Great idea. This is why you make up our strategies." Emily smiled adn we stepped into science.

The whole time I was in the back thinking about how Jag of all creatures got to be the leader of the vampire side with Sami, makes me want to vomit. We will have to kill her, simple as that. Then the teacher allowed us to socialize. I went straight to Conor with Emily. Gwen was talking with Steven E.

"Steven who's that guy Annabelle is talking to?"Gwen asked.

"He's Conor another wolf.Probably getting ammo."

"Ammo for what a war of species?" Gwen laughed. "It is nothing to laugh about." Gwen shrugged.

"Oh,well big war coming up everyone is on edge and Annabelle and Mason are the undisputed alphas for the wolf side .You know Annabelle might just use you for potions. We just happen to be falling behind in the production in those.Just make sure she doesn't take too much advantage of you."He warned.

"Ok, besides she can't be that evil."Gwen said looking over at me with Emily. I walked over to Gwen.

"Hey you should come to my house today.Meet me in the front of the school oce you got your stuff. Ok?"

"K just let me tell my mom." Gwen replied. She was gone and back in a matter of seconds

"Let's go to Language Arts."

"Ok" We walked and I sat down immediately.

"I'm going to point out the people on the other side that are in this class." I said.

"Alright,show them to me"

In Lit. there were about 4 vampires. But I wasn't paying antension. I guess I was a bit ADD that day or something.Maby it was the feeling that the war was going to do more damage than just cuts and bruises. Internal damage.

"Whatch thinking about" I heard the girl on my other side say to me.

"I don't know maby Shakespear, maby a little bit of nunya buissness." I told her calmly as if I was deep in thought.

"Well you don't have to be so sarcastic little bitchey witchey." She said under her breath.

"You got know idea."I told her and went back to stareing out the window.

What seemed like seconds later the bell rang for me to go to my only class without Annabelle, french. I gathered my books and raced to the door. I wanted to make it to the janitors clostet before anyone could spot me. But as I left the room I was meet by a wall.

Shit! One of the wizards in Lit must have done something to my perception. I silently cursed them and tapped my forehead. Finnally, I was back to normal.

I raced to into the janitors closet. And grabbed some chemicals and herbs. I mixed a potion to help me speak French. This way I won't fail completely.

When I came out,the hall was diserted. I realized I missed the bell and was extremely late.

I walked into french and said "Je suis désolé, je suis nouveau ici et n'a pas pu trouver la salle de classe" which is"I'm sorry I'm new here and couldn't find the classroom" in perfect French.

Then, this really nice girl came up to me and said "Hey I'm Karley. I'm a werewolf. What are you?" She asked as she lead me to my seat, next to her.

"Oh,I'm a witch my name is Gwen.It's nice to meet you."

"Thanks nice to meet you too."

The rest of the class was a blur a big french blur.

Once the bell rang Karley sat up and said "We should hang out some time."

"Yeah I'm free tomorrow after school if you want."

"Ok sure. Hey you can bring Annabelle and Mason too. I saw you hanging out with them at lunch." Then i made a connection "Oh, duh for a second I forgot you were a werewolf and then I made the connection to you and Mason."

"Yeah so I'll see you after school tomorrow ok?"

"Alright" I promised her. Then I went to my locker and remembered Iwas supposed to meet Annabelle in front of the school. So,I took my bookbag and materialized in front of Annabelle.

"Hey, meet any new friends?" she asked casualy

"Oh,yeah this girl named Karley she's in my french class."

"Oh cool,Emily here is going to take you to her house and I'll met you there after I'm done running erands.Ok?"

"Ok that's fine."

"Alright I'll meet you guys later."Annabelle flashed god knows where.

"So, let's go."

"Ok!" I teleported to Emily's house and we went to her basement.

"What are going to do down here?"

"I am going to teach you how to fight,no magic at all."

I let out an exasperated sigh. "Ok let's start!

"Ok do you know anything at all about fighting wthout magic?" Emily asked me.

"I know it envolves a lot of screaming,punching and kicking." I told her jokeingly.

"This is no joke! Your going to get your ass kicked if you dont learn how to fight without magic." She snapped back.

"Well I can enchant my self to fight well." I said with a lazy eye roll

"No! You need to stop taking the easy way out!" I put my hands up in a 'well then' gesture" FINE I'll let you teach me how to fight."

"Ok,good Annabelle will be a while she had to watch some people."

"Really who? And I thought she had erands to run?"

"Yeah watching the people are her erands and she's with Jag and his brothers."

"Oh,well then what do I need to know for this kind of fighting?"

"Well you just need to aim and follow through." Emily explained.

"Oh, ok. I wonder what Annabelle is doing right now." I think that doing a spell that let's me see and hear what Annabelle sees and hears would be in order.

"Emily I'll be right back I have to use the bathroom."

"Ok hurry back."

"Alright." So I went upstrairs and got some candles out of my bag and locked myself in the bathroom.

I cast the spell and now I see Jag's house and I hear Annabelle talking.

"You know Sasha you are a pain in the ass.And all I wanted to do was hang out with Jag and Steven. But you think that I am spying for the werewolf side really?"

"Well yeah, we can't trust many people, we only tolerate you because you and Emily help with our; events." Sasha yelled.

"So that's not the only reason I'm still allowed here isn't that right Jag?"

"Uh well Sasha she is pretty cool why don't you trust her?"

"Because unlike you guys I'm a real demon and I don't make friends with the opposite side. Come on think. You know she comes up with most of the pranks, look what she is capable of!" Sasha replied as he stormed out of the room.

Annabelle sighed and sat down in a chair.

"Sasha wait!" Jag yelled as he ran after him.

"Sasha if you keep being mean to her how are we going to convert her and Emily to the vampire side?"

"Ok fine I'll be tolerant until she's fulling converted."

"That's all I'm asking for." I heard them say even though it appears Annabelle didn't.

"So Steven you don't mind me here do you?"

"Nah not at all it's funner when your here."

"Two out of four isn't too bad." Annabelle smiled as Sasha and Jag walked back in.

"Did you take care of his sourpuss attitude?"

"Annabelle I am taking the high road this only time so I suggest you be nice."

"Agreed" Annabelle said.

Then all of a sudden I'm back in Emily's bathroom with Emily herself banging on the door.

"Hey Gwen what's taking so long? Answer me Gwen. Your worrying me. Open up now!"

I quickly opened the door and blew out the candles.

"Sorry Emily I didnt hear you."

"Didn't hear me that's impossible. And what's with the smoke what the hell are you doing in there?!"

"Uhhhh nothing Emily I swear."

"Then what's with all the smoke."

"Fine i lit some candles ok, I casted a spell."

"Ok that's fine but don't try to make excuses for yourself.Come on we have to train." Emily said angerily.

Just then the doorbell rang."Wait her I'm going to go see who that is ok?"

"Ok." I replied.Emily opened the door and it was Annabelle!

"Hey Emily how is Gwen doing with her training?"

"Not well,we haven't even started she spent the whole time in the bathroom ncasting a spell."

"Really does she know we have deadlines to meet and a war coming up?"Annabelle sounded angry.

"Annabelle,calm down I haven't told her about the war."

"Ok, fine just make sure she can fight and make sure the potions are finshed in time."

"Alright there's no need to get yourself worked up."

"I'm going to go pull out the potion ingredients. Tell her to meet me in your kitchen when she has cleared out the smoke."Annabelle said looking up at the bathroom.

"Ok." Emily walked back up me and said to meet Annabelle in the kitchen.

"Ok."I replied.This was my chance to tell Annabelle about the spell and what I heard Jag say.I walked in calmly and went to Annabelle's side.

"You are going to have to settle down and get to training." She said as she got a pot out.

"Yeah I know." I said as i reached for the pot.

"What potion do you want me to make?"

"Well you can make some protection potions."

"Ok how many do you want me to make?" This was going to be easy a couple of potions and I'm done.

"Make 1,000 protection potions and put them in viles before the night is over."

"What the hell! Are you even going to help!."

"No. Me and Emily will be upstairs planning some attack routes and such.I'll be down to check on you in a couple hours."Annabelle said as she walked up the stairs to Emily's bedroom. I can't believe she left me with so any potions to make.

"Bitch" I muttered. I thought to myself maybe I should temporarily curse her.I will make it so she can only speak and understand Chinese. But then I decided that that would only make me as bad as her and I'm better than that. Instead I left and didn't make any potions at all.

That will teach her that I'm smarter than she gives me credit for.

Annabelle

I went downstairs and it was around 10 pm. And I saw Gwen gone and the potions not made.

"I'm going to kill that bitch I swear to god i will." I muttered under my breath. Emily came down just then and looked just as pissed as I felt.

"Where did the little witch go?"

"Out I guess. If she thinks she can undermine me she has another thing coming."

"Hey,you can either go to school tomorrow and just go up to her and punch her or you can you can plan this carefully and get her when the time is right."

"That seems smarter but punching her seems easier."

"That is true but with my plans we can get her back twice as hard.Now calm down and tomorrow you are going to sweetly ask her for help with the potions."

"Fine.We will talk tomorrow now let's get some sleep." Emily nodded and we walked upstairs and went to bed. The next morning I quickly got ready with Emily and we flashed to school. And what a coincidence I flashed a couple feet away from Gwen.

"Hey." I said with my best 'I hate you smile.'

"Oh hey." Gwen said as if nothing had happened.

"Annabelle." Emily whispered the warning when she saw the look in my eyes.

"Let's get to class Gwen."

"BY the way Annabelle I got the office to switch my schedule to match yours." Emily told me.

"Awesome. Oh! Would you be nice enough to help me make 1,000 protection potions."

If your going to help, then yes."

"Great I'll see you tomorrow I'm hanging out with Karly and Mason today. Oh and you remember Karly invited you yesterday."

"Oh yeah that's right." Gwen remembered as we sat down in history.

The teacher came in and started talking about some American war that I as damn sure 100% of us didn't care about. We only care about the big war coming at the end of the school year. Next the bell rang and we all got up.

"Hey, Annabelle." Gwen from her seat.

"Yeah." I called back.

"We could work on potions right after we hang out with Mason and Karly." She suggested. "Yeah that can work out. Hey I'm going to walk with Emily to Spells II. Is that ok?"

"Yeah that's fine I was going to walk with Steven." I walked up to Emily.

"Spells II is the funniest class ever! Today we are continuing our love spells. Wait you don't have a partner do you?"

"No I don't. But it's ok I don't think I want one."

"Ahhhhhh smart." I said as I walked into Spells II and we took our seats. This time we will actually get a chance to do our spells.

Emily and i sat next to each other while Gwen was behind us making a new friend. She was talking to Sally, an elf.

So before the teacher came in I leaned over to Emily and said "So any idea's on what we are going to do about you-know-who?"

"Surprisingly none yet. But I'm me, so I'll be able to think up one idea." Emily said.

"Ok." I said as we went back to looking over our love spells one last time so we don't mess up. Then I heard a faint whisper say "Annabelle we need to talk."

It was Gwen so I whispered back "Not now!"

"Class I promised today we will bind two lovers so let's get the guys in and start casting." The teacher annouced. Next thing I know the 12 guys I saw before walked in. I saw Steven E. run to Gwen immediately and they started talking.

"How was Annabelle's house last night?" Steven asked.

"Oh, I didn't go to her house. I went to Emily's house and Annabelle tried to make me do her bidding. Just like you said she would." Gwen said reluctantly.

"I told you. Annabelle can easily do that and most people just go with it." Then Mason came up to me.

"Hey watcha been up to?"

"Oh, not much. How did the new girl do at Emily's house last night?"

"Not very well, Mason. She did nothing and the she just walked out."

"Oh, well maybe she's reluctant to pick a side. I bet she wasn't expecting this when she got tranfered here."

"Yeah maybe your right." I told him. Then people got to there right halves and Gwen's side casted first.

'Please you be careful,Not to get burned. For there is a love, To not be returned'

A group of casters said together.Then I felt this glow come over me. And I realized me and Mason have been binded together correctly. Wow it worked. So I took out my wand so I could reverse it like I told Mason I would,so it wouldn't damage our relationship.

"Gwen you did great. Good job." "Thanks I was worried at first but deep down I knew that I could do it." Gwen said.

"Now it's my halves turn it on your half so line up with everyone else." She did as I said as my half said the spell casted on them. As I finished the spell I saw Gwen start to gaze into Steven's eyes and he into her's. Then the bell rang and everyone left as the teacher was saying her goodbye's. "Hey Annabelle." I heard Gwen call as I was walking to Self Defense.

"Oh yeah you wanted to talk to me. What is it that you want?"

"Ok, remember last night at Emily's when I casted a spell?"

"I don't want to but yes. What about it?"

"Well it was a spell to see and hear what you see and hear."

"That's great and all but please get to a point."

"Ok, so I overheard something it seems you didnt. Jag is trying to convert you to his side that's what Sasha and him were talking about when he left the room."

"Gwenstop lying!" I screamed at her.

"Annabelle you don't have to believe me, but you should."

"I can only believe you when you have proof. Get me proof and I will believe you.Until then Jag is still my friend."

"Fine I'll get you your proof." Gwen said half to herself and half to me as I walked into class. I wonder if she's right.

"Today we will jump right into some more fights. So find a different partner and start fighting, with magic only."

I picked Steven E. I came up to him with a smirk on my face. I saw Gwen pick Jag. She must be trying to get her 'proof'. As I was thinking a skeleton came up and punched me.

"Bastard." I said as I took out my wand and cast a spell to make everything moving in a 3ft circle to drop.

As Steven and the skeletons dropped the skeletons crumbled and I started to cast another spell. This one will give me the power of electricution. So I start zapping him with lighnting bolts. Jag was shooting green poison rays at Gwen. She jumped and doged the best she could. She wasn't getting hit, just barely . Anytime she tried to cast a spell he interrupted her with another green ray.

"Jag stop lying I know you are trying to convert Annabelle to the vampire side!"

"I don't know what you are talking about Gwen." Jag said as he laughed with this menacing tone.

I jumped back as I realized Steven was shooting something at me. But when I looked at my arm I saw that I got grazed by his spell. I closed my eyes and summoned up all my power I possibly could. And I strock Steven with the biggest lighnting bolt I could. As it came out of my hands my eyes opened and they were completely black. A big flash of light came from it as people stopped their fights and looked over. Seeing it was just a powerful spell and afraid of a surprise attack by their partners they went back to their fights.

As the smoke cleared people saw me heaving with exhuastion and Steven in a corner, unconsious. I got a 'nice job' from Sasha it sounded like. As the fights kept going I got the teacher to check on Steven and I went over to Jag. He was laughing and shooting up his area with Gwen. Teasing her by just barely missing, I could tell.

"Annabelle tell him to stop!" Gwen pleaded as she stepped out of range.

"Jag" I whispered a with resistance.

"Thanks Annabelle. And you what!" They started getting in each other's faces so i had to get in between them.

"Hey, there's no need for this. Gwen you are bigger then him!" Gwen nodded and walk over to Steven's side.

"Are you ok?" Jag asked me looking at my arm.

"Yeah I'm fine. I only got grazed."

"Ok, students those fights went well I hope. It's time for lunch so leave and I'll see you tomorrow." I walked with Jag to the lunch room.

"That was risky you know." I told him.

"What was?" He said with a smile. "

Trying to get on her bad side that quickly. She is a powerful witch and she can and will get you back. But she's not that good at intellectual stuff." I told him without realizing what he could do with that information.

"Annabelle." I heard Mason call me.

"I saw you in Self Defense. Your eyes were completely black I saw them myself and since your not a demon this worry's me."

He said. "I'm fine." I told him. And to myself I said "I hope."

Gwen

"Gwen." I heard him say weakly.

"Yes."

"Am I ok?"

"Yes you are." I said with a little giggle. The bell rang for fourth period.

"I'm going to go."

"Go ahead I'll be fine." So I started walking to my class and the hallway went from a million people to absolutely none. I walked into a talkative class. So I quickly sat down in my seat before anyone could notice I was late.

"Did it really happen?" It took me a minute to realize someone was talking to me.

"Uhhh did what happen?"

"Did Annabelle really kill your boyfriend?" I giggled but then I stopped when I realized they were serious.

"Hell no! Where did you hear that shit?"

"Around. Sorry I didn't introduce myself I'm Ryan Fowler. I'm an elf."

"Oh, hey Ryan." Annbelle said.

"You guys know each other?" I asked them.

"Yeah we go way back." She said with a little laugh and Ryan laughed with her.

"Ok." I nodded and started listening to the teacher while Annabelle and Ryan were whispering behind me. Then I heard this booming voice say

"Now we will take the test." Shit! I didn't study. I didn't know we were supposed to study.

"This is a pretest and will not be graded."

"Thank god!" I whispered to myself. "Once your done you may wait untill the bell and then leave."

The teacher said so I blessed my pen to do all the work by itself, it could only use what I knew but my wrist won't cramp. In 5 minutes i was done. Then the bell rang and I was immediately out of my seat and pretty much runnig to my next class.

Sadly it was science. The whole time all I heard was blah blah blah blah blah.

I only learned one thing and that was Steven Gruner is really funny. It was minutes before the bell so everyone was talking.

"Don't forget we are hanging out with Karley and Mason."

"Oh, yeah thanks for reminding me." Then the teacher said

"Class is over i will see you tomorrow." So everyone left and went to 6th period.

I went in and an hour later I came out.

Next is Potions with Karley probably the most entertaining out of the whole day. So I mixed all the ingredients tested them on our frog and then I raised my hand.

"I'm done, now what should I do."

"Well gwen since class is almost over I will let you pick a friend and you two can leave early."

"I pick Karly." I heard her whisper a yes as we left the classroom.

"I'll meet you infront of the school." I told Karly. So I got my stuff and flashed outside of the school. Only to meet Karley, Mason and Annabelle.

"How did you two get out so early?"

"I have my ways" Annabelle sounded proud.

"Annabelle said we can go to her house." Mason told me.

"Let's go then." Annabelle flashed us all out of the schoolyard and into her bedroom.

"So whatcha guys wanna do?" Annabelle asked the rest of us for any ideas.

"We could hex some people." I suggested.

"That will keep me occupied. How about you guys?" Annabelle said. Mason and Karley nodded in agreement.

"Ok now the only questions left are who should we hex and what hex should we give them?" Annabelle informed us. This was my oppurtunity. While evreyone was thinking I said

"We could make Jag say only the truth."

"Ok, that's fine." Annabelle sounded hestitant. So I said the spell and I made sure it reached jag then I got up and said

"Now what?" Just then Karley got a text and looked up quickly and said

"Sorry guys I really have to go to this thing with my mom. Bye" As she ran down the stairs and out the door.

"Well lets start those potions." Annabelle said.

"Hey Mason can you call up Conor and Emily and see if they can come over. Great your the best!"

So I taught annabelle how to make the potions and after me showing her one time she got the hang of it. All of a sudden our rythm was innterupted by the sound of the door bell. It was Emily and Conor.

"Emily can you and the guys go upstairs and make the attack routes."

"Alright." Everyone said at once then got to work. In only three hours we got all 1,000 potions done and all the attack routes planned.

Even with all that accomplished Annabelle still seemed stressed.

"There's a lot more to do guys. We have to figure out how we will start the first battle." Annabelle said.

"Why do we have to start it?" I asked.

"Because if they start it then they get the element of surprise. So it could be anywhere at anytime."

"Oh." I replied. Then there was silence while we figured out how to start it.

"I got it!" Emily yelled after 10 minutes.

"Annabelle, the other shape shifters and me could transform into weapons. Then you guys can leave us out and when the other side picks us up we can attack from the inside." The whole group broke out into congrats for Emily. But then Conor stopped abruptly.

"You know what I noticed?"

"What" Annabelle replied to him. "The new girl hasn't picked a side yet."

"Oh, yeah but it's the werewolf side right?" Annabelle asked me.

"Uhhh well can't I help you guys out without fully being on your side?"

"No!" They all yelled at me.

"Well. I guess i will have to answer you guys tomorrow but right now I have to go." So I picked up my stuff and left.

What am I going to do? I don't have any friends on the vampire side so that wouldn't be a good idea. And Annabelle is kinda bossy.

I'll ask Steven he should be smart and reaonable about this.

"Hey Steven." "Yeah, what do you need?"

"I still haven't picked a side yet and everyone wants an answer."

"Just pick the werewolf side and be done with it."

"What if I don't want the werewolf side?"

"Are you saying you want to be accepted by the vampires, the demons?"

"No, I mean I don't know!" I had to scream a little cause he wasn't taking this seriously, I think I might cry.

"Sorry, but I mean I'm on the werewolf side."

"You are? But I thought Hades was evil."

"He is, kinda. But vampires have cheated death and that's what he's all about."

"Oh, that makes sense, I think. But that doesn't help my problem."

"I guess you have to pick the side that atracts you the most. You are a powerful witch so don't go trying to say you are going to be neutral." Steven told me as he walked away.

I get into my first period class and by then I'm extremely tired. After a minute my eye lids start to feel baggy and the more I have to open them, the more tired I get. I close them for a second it feels like and I'm in this new room.

All my friends are here. Annabelle and Mason are holding hands and smiling. Then Emily was standing near them with the same smile. Steven was beside me with his hand out. But before we could take it he pulled it away and whispered one word: Werewolf.

Then i feel this evil chill and I see four new figures in this black cloud. It was this girl vampire named Sami. She was in Jag's arms and then there was this mermaid that I haven't seen before. A voice inside my head told me her name was Katie. Then there was Gwen Crew. Katie came up to me and whispered one word like Steven but she whispered Vampire.

Then they both held out their hands for me to take. Katie was so small and innocent looking. Then there was my boyfriend cute, smart and always there for me.

I tried to make my hand join with Steven's but abruptly it went to Katie's. As our hands clasped together Sami, Jag and Gwen stopped what they were doing and their eyes read 'We won!'

Annabelle, Mason, Steven and Emily had a look of pure hatred in their eyes. I wanted to run to them and say it was all a joke and start laughing but it wasn't, this was really happening. Katie pulled me to the other's and I just stood there, feeling like I was looking out into the world.

"GWEN!" I woke up as Annabelle screamed my name.

"What?!" I yelled back.

"You slept through History, Spells II and Self Defense it's lunchtime now."

"Shit!" i said to myself as I flashed myself next to Steven.

"I heard you took a long nap and didn't wake up until just now." Steven told me.

"Uhhh well, I guess I'm just a heavy sleeper." I smiled hoping the lie would work. "This is a magic school, there's no such thing as a heavy sleeper." Darn! Didn't work.

"Ok, well I just had this dream. That's all."

"Oh, well sit down." He said like he knew there was something missing from my story. But I think this dream helped me pick which side I want.

Annabelle

"I'm telling you Mason it was really wierd."
"Well, maybe your just over reacting Annabelle."
"Maybe but I mean either someone put a curse on her or she had a powerful dream. I studied it in one of my classes last year."
"Oh,cool. But still I couldn't feel any powerful magic being used at the time so, that leaves a powerful dream." He told me as I walked over to Gwen. I have to ask her what happened.
"Gwen."
"Yeah Annabelle."
"What were you dreaming about for the last three periods?"
"Uhhhhh ummmm here can I talk to you over here for a second? Thanks." She took my arm and pulled me away from the table.
"I can't tell you right now but I an say that it did help me pick which side I want to be on."
"Ok, great so which one is it." I said knowing she would pick the werewolf side.
"I'll tell you later, ok? Great." She said as she walked back to her table. I can't believe her. I thought to myself as i sat back down between Jag and Mason.
"Gwen said her big dream helped her decide but she won't tell me."
"Well, I wonder which side it is." Jag said over hearing what I said.
"It's a pretty good chance it'swerewolf. You were the first friend Gwen had here." Mason told me. I could see in Jag's eyes he thought otherwise but I didn't say anything.
"I'm going to go catch Emily up." I said as I got up and made my way to Emily's table even though the repeated scream of the vice prinicpal's
"Sit down!" were really distracting. I got to her table and sat down beside Emily. Across from her another shape shifter named Travis sat there.
"Hey Travis what's up?"
"Oh, not much Annabelle."
"So, Emily I got back Gwen yesterday in Self Defense.. I almost killed her boyfriend." I said with a smile. Travis was trying to stifle a laugh.
"Awesome! I was just about to tell Travis about the battle plan I made the other day."
"What battle plan?" Travis asked us.
"Oh, well Emily had this brilliant idea to get the shape shifters and me to transform into weapons. And when the vampire side takes us back to wherever we will attack from the inside."
"That's a great idea, Emily."
"Thanks." Emily said calmly. But I still noticed the look Travis had on his face. He liked her, but Emily was really cool about it. Anyways once I finished explaining I needed to tell Emily one more thing.
"Hey Em, Gwen had this dream for the last 3 periods and she said that it helped her make her decision. But she won't tell me which side."
"That's wierd there's no chance she'll pick the vampire side, so don't worry." She told me.
"God, I hope so." I said back.
I got up and walked out of the cafeteria with everyone for fourth period. Sadly it was science for me. The teacher in this class is so unorganized and takes up the whole class talking about her personal life. Like everyone else in her class, I was daydreaming knowing tomorrow we would get this exact same speech. The bell rang for fifth period and her students left without her knowing they didn't hear a thing.

Ok so it's half way through survival and Gwen is trying to mouth something to me. I recognize the word side, so I know she's trying to tell me which side she picked. No that can't be right. Maybe I misread her. She couldn't have said what I think she said. Did she really just say vampire?!

This can't be possible. Maybe I miss read what she said. Maybe she said I don't want the vampire side. Yeah that seems possible. I'll have to ask her. So right in the middle of class I stood up and said, looking straight at Gwen, "What did you say?"
Gwen was shocked.
But before she could get over the shock and answer me the teacher said "Annabelle sit down right now!"
"Yeah, once I get me an answer I'll do whatever you want me to do." I told the teacher with air quotes around the last part. All of the teachers know I'm stubborn, if I want an answer I'll get it one way or another. There was no point in her to argue, once she realized this she waved her hand at Gwen for her to speak.
"Uhhhhhh I said there's no one on the vampire side for me so I'll be with you." She hasn't spoken like this in class before, I could tell.
"Ok, that's great, now you can continue teacing." Once I finished what I said to the teacher the bell rang. I got my stuff and as I walked past the teacher I gave her a sarcastic 'Oops!'
"Annabelle we have to find Jag now! I've been trying to do this for two days but I could nevre get you guys in the same room, while I wasn't running for my life." Gwen said pulling my arm. So, before we could start to 6th period we found Jag in the hallway and he looked almost scared. I guess he's suffering from our hex. Wait a minute!
That's why Gwen was so keen on casting this spell on this person. She's trying to get her proof. "You can't lie now Jag!" Gwen said confidently.
"There's nothing for me to lie about." He said back with a menacing glare.
"Look, Gwen we have to go to class can't we do this later?"
"NO! It's got to be now the spell is going to where off in 5 minutes, so just let me talk. Now Jag tell Annabelle the truth." She snapped back.
"Like, I said I have nothing to tell her. Annabelle you have to believe me." Jag pleaded.
"I..I.....I don't know who to believe!" I said as I stormed off down the hall.
"I'll get you evntually Jag. This spell will where off then I'll cast another. And I'll keep casting until I can get Annabelle to see that your nothing but pure evil."
"Don't worry Gwen by then she'll already be on my side." Jag said as he faded away.

Alright I definately need to talk to Jag. But who should I believe? I guess it wouldn't be that bad if I were on the other side...

No! I can't think like that I am dating Mason who is a werewolf. I'm on the werewolf side, with my friends. I thought to myself as I lkooked around the room, making my eyes stop at Gwen, Emily and Mason. I looked back at the teacher just as the bell rang to go home. I got my stuff and walked out of the school with Jag.

"So who do you believe?" He asked me after a while of silence.

"Well, truthfully I don't know. It's whatever. So it's Friday right after school what are you going to do?" "Well, since I'm a demon I'm probably going to do something I know I shouldn't if I were good." He told me trying to stifle a laugh.

"That sounds fun what do you have in mind?" He looked a little shocked but once that faded away he smiled. "Actually I don't know. Maybe we could invite someone to come with us, someone with ideas." "Ok, how 'bout your brother Steven?"

"That's fine." With that I scanned the crowd looking for Steven Gruner.

"Hey, Steven come here." I shouted at him once I found him in the crowd. I waved him over to where me and Jag were standing.

"Me and Jag are about to do something we probably shouldn't, but we can't think of anything, any ideas?" "Yeah I think I have one Annabelle."
"Alright then let's get started. You can explain on the way Steven." Jag told us as I flashed the three of us to Steven's wished destination.

"What are we doing here?" As I asked Steven and Jag got this look on thier faces like this was a routine. They took me around to different places to do different things to different people. Personally it was pretty fun. Maybe hanging out with them wouldn't be so bad.

"You know guys we have to do this more often. But only if you can keep it a secret." Looking into thier eyes I added "I could always use force to shut you up."

"Fine." They both said reluctantly.

"Good. But hey I have to go I have some important stuff I have to do."

"Like what?" Jag asked.

"Like making a certain plan come to life." I said as I flashed myself into my room.
"Steven we are going to have to do something so we can keep track of her we are so close I can feel it."

"Alright, but how?"

"We could curse her temporarily of course, but we can persuade her to do more evil things. Trust me she will be willing to do anything evil as long as it's to the right person."

"Great, I'll text Annabelle right now and tell her to come over tomorrow."


I just got back to my room and a few seconds later I got a text from Steven. It says 'You should come to my house tomorrow to hang out with me and Jag.' So I texted back 'Ok, sure wat eve.'

For once I went to sleep excited for the next day. So I woke up and decided just in case I don't want to go to the demons' house alone. So I called Gwen and told her everything that happened and what I was about to do. I didn't have to ask her to come, she invited herself. I knew why but I was cool with it.

So in 30 minutes she was at my house and I was about to flash us to Jag's house.

"Ok, before we go remember that we are better when we are not split apart." Gwen said right before I waved my wand.

"Dude, it's cool Jag is not after me nor is Steven, Patrick or Sasha. They are really nice once you get to know them. Just give them a chance."

"Ugh, fine. But I'm not going to be anywhere near nice and if anything suspicious happens I'm teleporting us out of there."

"Ok, fine but all they want us to do is hang out. You know talk have fun."

"Huh, I don't think I'm going to like their kind of fun." She mumbled to herself as I flashed us out. We got there and as I knocked on the door it opened so we stepped in.

"Oh my god, it's like it's out of a cheap scary movie."

"Oh, will you shut up, they may be evil but that doesn't mean they can't act nice." I said to Gwen. To the emptiness of the house I yelled

"I'm here. Jag. Steven."

"Yeah." Jag said as he came around the corner. I guess he was a little surprised to see Gwen but he quickly hid it.

"So come in here and we can hang out."

So we all sat down Steven, Jag Gwen and me and played our version of truth or dare. Except its more like dare or dare. Jag got dared to cast an evil spell on me. I guess Gwen would have stopped it but she was in the bathroom. So Jag casted the spell and swirls come around me. Once it cleared I could have been on the FBI's most wanted list. With a menacing glare. There were no light colors to be found. I was the girl version of a demon. Then Gwen walked in.

"OH MY GOD! What did you people do to Annabelle?"

"Gwen what are you talking about? I don't feel different, the spell didn't work."

"Uhh Annabelle think again." Gwen said as she pointed to a mirror.

"HOLY CRAP! Let's go now!" I flashed us out and into my bedroom.

"You can stay the night we will worry about this tomorrow."

"Ok." Gwen said as she fell asleep. This is pretty bad. But even worse I think I don't want to be changed back.

Gwen

"Mason!" I whisper yelled in his face.

It was 4 am on a Saturday and I was in my best- friends boyfriends bedroom. So unlike me.

"What are you doing here? Is something wrong? Did someone die?" He said drowsily

"Well no, not quite. But.." He cut me off.

"Then let me sleep till noon and you can bother me then." He said with agitation in his tone. He turned his head away from me and pretended to snore. This really pissed me.

"I didn't want to play this card but... ANNABELLE IS CHEATING ON YOU!" I practicably screamed the last part so he would listen.

"WHAT! I'm 100% awake, now tell me the whole story. I need all the details." He told me in a no nonsense voice. I will tell it like it is.

"Ok, so the last two days, when she said she was to busy to hang out with you, she was with Jag. And then, last night I when with her to Jag's place and we played dare or dare those bustards did something unspeakable horrible." I told him like it was the latest gossip, which in a few hours it would be.

"Do I want to know?" He asked hesitently

"Of course you do! Your her boyfriend for satins sake!"

"Ok, ok, just tell me." He said. I knew he was ready for the full impact of the comment.

"They turned her into a demon while I was in the bathroom and I couldn't change her back. Then when I researched the spell it said she would have to stay that way for 1 moon and then only she can change herself back."

"Ok." He said with so little emotion it almost blew me backwards.

"How can you be like that! Yoour girlfriend is a cheating de-" He shut me up with a toothy grin. My face paled. I knew what he had done.

"Who?" I asked still stunned from my realization.

"Karly, mostly. I'm just glad she found out and took the same route." I panicked when he implied that she knew what he was doing.

"Mason she has no clue."

"Shit, well lets just let her belive I'm not. Ok?" He sounded sort of worried she would kill him.

"Ya... Ok." I might tell her just to pay him back for what he did. But since Annabelle did the same to him I decided against it. I flashed out and into my room. I had a plan. A plan that might just get me killed.

I flashed Steven into my room to find him dressed in a collared shirt and dressy pants.

"What the heck are you wearing and why?" I asked trying to stifle a giggle. This was good.

"I was about to go to church with my mom and step-dad. But since I'm here I guess not. Whats on your mind?"

"I have a plan. And it's a secret so you can't tell anyone. You must swear not to tell anyone until the time is right." I said with certainty.

"I swear on the river. How do I know when the time is right?" He asked with equal certainty.

So I started telling him the plan while he examined my room. I had all magenta and mahogany furnisher. I was all styled with the look of any regal house of the 1960s. A curvy arm chair. A canopy bed. A huge wardrobe. A big bay window with a seat; ant to top it off an ever changing wall mural of the moon.

"Ok. I get the general gist of the plan now. When should we start step one?" He ask when I had finished.

"Right now." I flashed in a 'hot' red head for Steven to 'cheat' on me with.

"Wow. So I take my 'cousin' to the mall for her birthday, you catch us, scream at me, punch her and we 'break-up'." He said with air quotes.

"Exactly. Then I go crying to Annabelle, the demons, and the vampires to strike from the inside."

"And her?" He point behind his hand to his 'cousin'.

"Oh she's just a dummy. Not really alive. Can only say these four things.'OMG you are so funny!','I love this top!','Do you like it?' and 'We should do this more often.'" I explained like it was a no brainer and flashed us to the mall.

When I arived at the mall Steven and 'Allison' were nowhere in sight. Good. Today I would be shopping for my real early b-day present with my real demonic step cousin Allison and her friend Amanda. No mortal could tell they were demons because they prefer to stay in human form in public.

They were the best cover for shopping with friends I had. And I loved it. First we went to one of those international cooking stores and bought me some mortal spices for my potions because some stuff is to dangerous to be sold at stores in the Other Realm, or land of magic. Then we went to an electronics store to get us all more heavy duty e-readers to hold the magic book. When we walked out I saw Steven and 'Allison'.

"My boyfiend." I started to well up with fake tears as I pointed to Steven.

"You need to go yell at him now." Allison was almost a mind readed. Almost.

I ran up to Steven and started screaming about how he could do this to me and how we were so done. Then I punched Allison and ran into the bathroom 'crying'. Once I was in there I flashed to a witch and wizard only spa for some much needed R&R. All this crying and punching has got me looking like a wreck. But it was so worth it.

"Gwen! You will never guess what just... You look great! What happened!"Annabelle said as she flashed in to my room just minutes after I got back from the spa, were I had stayed over night. I told her about how Steven broke up with me and that I will sit with her at lunch now.

"That brings me to tell you what I came to tell you, pause for dramactic effect, I broke up with Mason and got together with Jag!" She was so freaking excited I realized Mason must have kept his mouth shut. Well at least we know he is smart.

"Oh maybe then I should date Sasha." I said with a hint of question in my voice.

"I thoght you hated the demons?" She said it as if she was afraid that the answe would bite her.

"No I just hated what they were doing to you and I shouldn't have. They gunuinely like you and they make me laugh. I probiley just heard what I wanted to hear that night."I am such a gret actress. I think I may join drama club.

"Great! I knew you would come to your senses and except them!" She squealed as she hugged me.

"Mean I have to like them don't I? Their part of my family."I said in an excited and explaining tone.

"Really? How the heck are you and the demons even remotley related?"She stopped jumping, stode still and cocked her head in a questioning manner.

"Well... Were only related by marriage. They are my step-cousin's cousins. But they are still kin and I must respect the family motto. 'Omnes fratres respiciant' or 'Respect all brothers.'" It's true we are technetley related. Not a lie yet.

"Well I think you should go now I'm going to the Other Realm Gym to get ready for our hands on survival pre-test."I said because I really needed some help in that field and that vampire Ryan volunteered to be my trainer for the day. I don't know why all the werewolf's hate the vampires? They are all rely nice.

Once Annabelle left I got into my workout clothes, a pair of black mesh shorts and a wine work-out bra and flashed to the gym.

When I got there Ryan laughed at my outfit.

"What are you wearing! We are doing survival training not spinning!" He said as he handed me a small day pack. It had a list of contents taped to it.

Snacks. back-up clothes, bow and arrows, knife, and first-aid kit.

"What are we learning. I only have an hour to waste here."I asked when we got in the elevator for the simulator.

"Well since you will be in there for an equivalent of 3 hours, bow and arrow use and tree climbing." He said as we came to a stop to admit another person onto the elevator.

"Should I change?" I asked him.

"Yeah"He said as if it was obvious.

I flashed into a cameo tank-top and cargo pants. When we exited the elevator on the simulator floor. It was a jungle.

He taught me the ropes and how the simulator blocked all magic. Now I can shoot like a pro.

When I got home I flashed into red pajamas and went to sleep.

Annabelle

It's the first day of school since I've been turned into this demonic thing. And truthfully I fell pretty bad ass about it. I have this new sense of power and superiority. I walked down the hall with Jag on my left and Emily on my right.

Currently she is making up her mind on whether or not to join me and Gwen. With my newly acquired powers from Jag, I slammed all of the other kids against the lockers and walked by with a smile as they struggled to free themselves. I heard Emily try to stifle a giggle and I smiled. But my smiled stopped as I walked around the corner and saw Mason with Karley. Poor, Karly thinking Mason actually cares about her. As I passed them I hissed and snakes formed around their feet. This is going to be fun day. I'm glad there are no more rules.

It's the middle of 5th period I got bored so I compelled the teacher to let us talk for the rest of class.

"Steven, did you know compelling is an intermediate vampire trait. They have to practice for many years until they can get it right." Gwen whispered to Steven E.

"That's not good, this plan of yours should come into affect pretty soon. Eventually we won't have time to attack the other side and Annabelle will be far too gone for us to save her."

Ugh why is Steven trying to talk to her? I thought to myself as I walked over to them immediately Steven ran away. "What was that all about?"

"Oh, nothing."

"So Emily do you have an answer yet?"

"My final answer is sure why not?" Emily said excitedly. I gave one more questioning glare over at Gwen then the bell rang and we all left. sixth period passes with little disturbances and I fell asleep in 7th so it's been a pretty good day.

"Hey Jag, Emily said yes!" I told him with Gwen and Emily behind me as we all walked out of the door.

"Cool." Jag said giving her a high-five. "Whatever you say. Anything you guys want to do?"

"Not really." All of them replied.

"We can always torture Steven!" I said looking behind Gwen to see how Steven was managing.

"No, that's fine um he can't take anymore." Gwen said blocking my path to him. So I grabbed Gwen's arm and pulled her away from the group. "Do you have some kind of plan up your sleeve?"

"Uh, no why would you ask something like that?" She said as truthfully as she could, but I could tell she was lieing. That's ok I have a plan to figure out everything.

"Oh, ok just have to watch out cause at least someone is going to betray you."

"Well, I already know you. It's kinda obvious."

"Wait, what are you talking about?"

"Mason didn't tell you huh?"

"Tell me what?"

"Mason cheated on you! That's how he got with Karly so fast." She blurted the last part out and tensed up like she was going to be the person I kill.

I stormed over to where Karly and Mason were holding hands. I flung Karly off to the side and I slammed Mason back into the brick wall.

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say Gwen told you."

"Oh, you think!" I screamed at him. A group of students were forming around us. but at that moment I couldn't care less. I lifted him into the air like I did with Steven but this time I continuously dropped him and picked him back up. Karly eventually got through the crowd, tears running down her face, and tried to make me stop. I swiftly turned around and flung her backwards. Everyone saw me with their jaws dropped and horror in their eyes. I gave them all a menacing smile as I dropped Mason one last time. As he groaned and tried to get up I knelt beside him and whispered

"This is what you get for cheating on me." He explained how Gwen told him one morning that I cheated on him. I slowly got up and turned to Gwen. She tried to put on a calm, brave face but I could see right through it. So I made my way over to where she was standing kids backing away making a straight path from me to Gwen. She could definitely tell what Mason had just told me. "Since when is hanging out with a friend cheating?" I asked her trying to keep my voice calm.

"Well, it isn't but you were hanging out with Jag a lot. So I just figured you wouldn't mind that they had been together all summer." She saw my smile again. But then I made it stop abruptly to say "First strike, try not to get two more." After I said that I calmed down and all of the on lookers left for home. Just then a teacher came through the crowd.

"That's it you three to the office." She said pointing to Emily, Gwen and me. We walked into the office and was welcomed by Meagan. Great this will be fun.

"Annabelle I have to talk to you. Now!" She said in a serious tone.

"Ok, what do you want?"

"Keep it on the DL but the spell to keep the school disguised out the human eye is wearing off. Only a witch can cast the spell. Thankfully we have a witch this year the only problem is that the witch must be in their junior year of high school. Gwen is only a sophomore."

"Wait, why does Gwen have to be a junior to cast spell?" I asked her.

"The principal thinks that level in high school will make sure the witch is experienced enough."

"Great. I'll tell Gwen ok?"

"Yeah tell her maybe if she practices her witch studies she can be experienced enough to reinforce the spell by the time the school really needs it."

"Ok, I'll tell her as soon as we get out of the office."

"No Annabelle that's why your here, that's why I made them call you in."

"Oh, ok well then I guess I'll leave now." I told her as I started walking towards Gwen and Emily.

Then Meagan added "But to cast the spell Gwen has to be good." I kept walking, I heard her but I didn't know what to say to Gwen. I mean going bad was her healing from the break up. But she was kinda too excited. And that's a lot to say about Gwen because she is like ADHD or something.

"Hey we can go now, Meagan just had to tell me something about Gwen." Emily quickly walked to my side looking like she was ready to fight if necessary.

"What's wrong?" Gwen asked me.

"You guys can't tell many people but the spell on the school is wearing off and only a witch can back the spell up." I told them with a sad face.

"Well then what's the problem, I'm a witch."

"Yeha but you have to be at the least a junior but you can study twice as much and you'll make it but there's one more problem."

"What now!" Gwen said desperately.

"You have to be good." Everyone fell silent then after about ten minutes Emily brakes the silence and says

"Well , I guess she will have to be good, let's go Annabelle."

"Ok Gwen well tell me what your decision is tomorrow." I told her leaving Gwen with a confused look on her face. Emily and I walked out of the office and headed out of the school to the parking lot. Emily stops and turns to me with a stern look on her face.

"Don't feel sorry for Gwen."

"Why not she likes being evil and she has to pick now."

"Because she isn't evil! She just reeks of good." Emily yells at me.

"Come on two more friends can't make me choose."

"Fine! Take her to Sasha or to Patrick they haven't been around her a lot so they won't be masked."

"Ok, if you think it's important we can all go tomorrow."

"Thank you." I flashed Emily and I to my room. For the rest of the night Emily and I talked about how to sabotage the plan Emily gave Mason. After a while we both fell asleep. As we woke up the next moring we got ready for school then I flashed us there. I made it to lunch but when gwen tried to sit next to me Emily hurried and sat in the last spot. "Hey, Emily I was going to sit there."

"Oh, sorry Annablle promised this seat to me."

"Yeah Gwen sorry I guess I must have over booked it. Here just wait a minute." I told her as I waved my wand to make our table one seat bigger adn made Mason's table a seat smaller. It made Karley fall off instantly and land on her butt. Mason gove me a painful and forced smile. So I smiled really big and pointed at the extra seat for Gwen to sit down.

"Hey Gwen do you what to come to Jag's house tomorrow with us?" I asked her.

"Uh, sure why not?" Good I'm glad she doesn't expect anything. As far as she knows it's just another night at Jag's place. So as long as Gwen doesn't do anything out of the normal phase one will be perfect.
