Morning rose up a s painter’s heart. Little blossoms chanted in the sky. Sun melodramatized into an epiphany. I bow down to God Jehovah Jesus and thank him for all his blessings.

I am still reading the Gospel of Acts. Mostly it’s about the work of proselytization done by the Disciples of Christ and Paul. They encounter all sorts of problems like being accused of being liars and slanderers of faith, casting out demons by sorcery. But they endure their spread of theology very bravely. I am wondering if the present day evangelists have the same zeal as their predecessor.

I no longer have a confused worldview. My worldview is being deeply rooted in Christ. I am able to separate worldly Philosophers from Christ’s words.

Thanks to God Jehovah Jesus, I was able to complete a treatise on the methods of Criticism, they being Philosophical Etymology, Psychological Pharmacology, Cultural anatomy and Ontological Nebula. For Philosophical Etymology I have used deconstruction, structuralism, Feminism and Marxism for analysis.  For psychological pharmacology I have used Freud, Lacan and Jung. Cultural anatomy deals with value, function and meanings in culture. For Ontological Nebula, I have used two concepts: Constructive Ontology (my own) and destructive ontology.

I was reading the biography of Umberto Eco the famous novelist who wrote: The Name of the Rose. I was surprised when the narrative said he had a 30000 volume library. Compared to that I have a dwarf library of 100 odd books. Collecting books is my weakness and a mental fetish.

The biggest thing in my life after coming to Christ, I don’t have an anxiety anymore. I have a past history of reading astrology columns. Reading astrology fills the mind with fear and anxiety. The good things they predict never happen. One day I was doing a reading and the column said: there is imprisonment. The whole day passed on with dread and at the end of the day nothing of that sort happened. The Bible (Scripture) is very firm on Astrology, Tarot and the Occult. It says that our ‘God is a Jealous God’ and those dabbling in it will have the curse of God not to one generation but till the fourth and the fifth generation.

What I am writing is my own encounter with Pagan Idols and deities and its all truth. I don’t want its curse to sprinkle on anyone. I want all to be enriched with God’s blessing. Give the Devil an inch and he will take a mile.

A Disgruntled Ex Communist from Kerala

Kerala, God’s Own Country is a home for a flock of communist sheep. I was once an ardent follower. For many youth of Kerala, Che Guevara was an iconic figure. As I write this narrative, I feel a tinge of regret. Communism is a dead corpse. It has a bankrupt ideology. India is a galloping horse as far as Capitalism is concerned. The top echelons of the party like the Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan have themselves and their kith and Kin studying in international universities abroad have also bathed in the waters of lucrative businesses. Communism is a disguised capitalist cosmetic. Communism in Kerala benefits the rich few and marginalizes large number of its followers. Communism in Kerala is a social and political Dracula having its blood hungry fangs to impoverish its followers.

Methods of Literary Criticism

I have discovered some tools for the methodology of literary criticism. They are:

  1. a) Philosophical Etymology
  2. b) Cultural Anatomy
  3. c) Psychological Pharmacology
  4. d) Ontological Nebula

Philosophical Etymology

What is philosophical Etymology? Philosophical etymology is a cross examination of literary and cultural meanings in the light of Philosophy. It seeks to give newer shades of meaning to older thoughts. Let’s look at some examples. The school of structuralism coined that all language is made up of signs. A sign consists of the signifier and the signified. The signifier is a visual tangible thing and the signified is an idea. Let’s use an example: I blossomed in her garden. Here blossomed is figurative and an idea and hence it is the signified. Garden forms the signifier.

Postmodern Philosopher Derrida developed the idea of Binary Divide. A Binary Divide is a text that privileges some and marginalizes others. Let’s look at an example. It is said in an advert: Wanted only Native Speakers to Teach English. This narrative privileges Native Speakers over English spoken by the colonized people.  Using the Binary Divide we can deconstruct texts.

From Derrida I have developed an idea called Binary Fusion.  Binary fusion is a text that promotes equality. Let’s look at an advert. We do not discriminate people on the basis of gender, color or orientation.  This text contains a Binary Fusion. Let’s look at another example. Black Culture, Black Gospel, Jazz and Blues are universally epitomized binary fusions of culture. A literary interpreter can analyze texts and bring out notions of marginalization and privilege and also write a narrative of Binary Fusion.

Then comes Kristeva’s texts of the semiotic
