Chapter 1
Nightfall

moonlight was guarding her mothers pack as they were sleeping.She saw a strange light.she started to head towards it."I wonder what it is"?she thought.As she got closer she smelt smoke.She herd voices human voices."I better get back to my pack my mum will be worried about me"moonlight thought.It was dawn and it was time to hunt"time to hunt some deer moonlight"said moonlights mother.Moonlight watched as her mother stalked the deer then she pounced moonlight watched as her mother killed the deer."mum when can i hunt alone"when your older now come and have your breakfast".


Chapter 2
moonlight gets older


Moonlight was now 1 year old and she was able to go out hunting on her own.Moonlight was in the forest and then she suddenly stopped.she heardsome men talking"i wonder how many wolves we are going to kill"probably a whole pack""nah i dont think we would manage to kill a whole pack i think we will be able to kill 8 wolves"" 8 wolves"thought moonlight there hunters i have got to tell mum and the rest of the pack"as she turned she heard one of the men say "hay whats over there"OHNO!they have seen me"at that moment she ran.when moonlight got to the pack she howled"ooooooow"she ran down the hill"hunters are going to kill us!we have to go some were else""oh really i dont think hunters will be coming just yet its only spring""no you dont understand i was in the woods and i heard 3 men speaking they said there going to kill us""oh moonlight i thought you would be over your chiledish nonsense""its not nonsense mum there coming i heard them""i think you should get some rest moonlight""ok mum see you tomorrow.


chapter 3
hunters come


it was morning and moonlight was just waking up"morning mum"good morning moonlight sleep well"yep"moonlight said as she streched"im going hunting see you in 40 minutes"ok moonlight by"by mum".
Moonlight ran towards the woods.As moonlight got to the begining of the forest she stopped and crouched down"i hope i get this one"she thought.she waited untill the deer came closer then she pounced she killed the deer.As she was eating she remembered she
had said to her mum that she was going to be 40 minutes so she went to were she had heard the 3 men talking about how many wolves they were going to kill"i wonder if there still there she thought.as she aproched the place were she had seen the 3 men talking she noticed that they were asleep"i think im going to steal there stake if there have any"she thought so she went into the tent and looked around if there was any stake and she found 3 stakes so she took them and ran off.When she tgot back to the pack she droped 1 stake infront of each 5 wolves but one group was 7 wolves.The next morning moonlight had forgotten about the hunters but as she was playing she remembered.she heard a car."oooooowwww" she howled"what is it moonlight"hunters are coming"said moonlight "listen can you here that car its coming towads us its the hunters.


chapter 4
hunters arrival


"every one move hunters are coming""really"yes really"its true!there in a car
and the sound is heading towards us!moonlight mother said"COME ON HURRY UP THE WOLVES ARE GOING TO RUN AWAY IF WE DONT GET THERE SOON!IM GOING AS FAST AS I CAN!"hurry moonlighti will catch up with you as fast as i can go!"NO I WONT LEAVE YOU COME WITH THE PACK!"No i will stay here and fight them off go!NO"moonlight shouted moonlight ran into the forest.BANG..."NO"moonlight ran to were the sound came from moonlights mother had been shot"mum!MUM!!!!.There was no answer.
