Rev. Greg was born again on May 31, 1973, I went Trinity Church in Bridgewater MA. For 20 years. He has been a born again Spirit filled Christian now for over thirty years. He graduated from Hamburg High in Hamburg, N. Y. in 1972. He went to a theology school for three years He graduated in 1979. He went to Rhema Bible Training from 1982-1984 and, graduated. He got married in 1994I started going to Living Word in 1995I have been in various ministries in the church over the years. Fear or Faith
1. Fear contaminates procrastinates and negates. Faith Dominates, Creates, a Demonstrates.
Fear or Faith
1. Fear Contaminates-
1Timothy 1:7- God has not given us a spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind.
Fear is a spirit that will contaminate you. It will pollute your whole being. It causes worry, which causes sickness in the body. It even cause’s depression.
2. It talks the problem not the answer. It believes what occurred not the word.
3. Fear Procrastinates it will make you holds back when God tells you to do something.
4. Fear Negates- to be negative; bring or cause negative results: a pessimist that always negates.
5. Faith Creates- Romans 4:17- Call things that be not as though they were.
As God created the light, He said, light be and there was light.
We can say, body you have been healed. Or I am blessed.
Hebrews 11:1- Now faith is assurance of (things) hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.
Wow faith is now. The blessing is now.
6. Faith Demonstrates- Galatians 6:7 you reap what you sow.
It gives to the needy. It serves with the right motive.
Lay hands on the sick and they will recover.
7. Faith Dominates- Mark 11:23 Verily I say to you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou taken away and cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but believe that what he says takes place, whatever he shall say shall come to pass for him.
It rules over, it over shadows, it overcomes any problem that comes our way, by speaking the word to overcome it, it attacks not just reacts.
Emotion
2. Don’t have negative commotion in your emotion; it only produces negativity in your productivity.
Job had negative emotion he spoke what he feared and got it.
Mark 11:23-24
22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God. 23 I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours.
Speaking the word will get you positive productivity.
When Jesus was tempted, He did not give into negative emotion no he spoke the word against the Devil and those temptations.
God’s Work
3. Great satisfaction is a result of doing God’s work with excellent preparation...
1Timothy 2:15 15 Study to show you approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Hebrews 4:12
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
When you train for a sport there is a lot of physical work so that you become good at what you do.
You go to school to train your mind to do what you need to do.
The same is true with your spirit you need to train it with the studying of the word of God.
What Do You Put In Your Heart?
4. The hearts transformation is a result of the word’s impartation.
Matthew 6:19-21
19 Lay not up for you treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 for where thy treasure is there will thy heart are also.
Matthew 19:13-24
19 When any one hearth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, (then) cometh the evil (one), and snatched away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side. 20 And he that was sown upon the rocky places, this is he that hearth the word, and straightway with joy received it; 21 yet hath he not root in himself, but endured for a while; and when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, straightway he stumbled. 22 And he that was sown among the thorns, this is he that hearth the word; and the care of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 And he that was sown upon the good ground, this is he that hearth the word, and understandeth it; who verily bearish fruit, and brunet forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 24 Another parable set him before them, saying, the kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man that sowed good seed in his field:
What are you letting in your heart? Where your heart is where treasure is.
Garbage in Garbage out.
Speak the Word
5. Speak the word not what you heard or occurred. Speaking the word is the advancer to your prayers is answered.
Don’t speak and pray the problem. Pray and speak the answer Speaking the word is the answer.
Romans 4:17
Call things that are not as though they were.
Matthew 17:20
20 And he says to them, Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard [seed], ye shall say to this mountain, be transported hence there, and it shall transport itself; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
Speak to your mountain. Tell it to move. Tell it to leave.
You have a choice in your voice.
Just as you had a choice in your voice to get saved.
I Can Do All Things In Christ
6. You don’t have to accept any disability when you have God’s ability.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
1John 4:4
Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world.
When gives you a vision or a plan to do you will have His ability to do it.
You need to find out what God’s plan is for you.
Remember God evengave Jesus a
God is Never Late
7.. Don't accept your fate, God is never late. He will bring you your mate all you have to do is cooperate.
Isa. 55: 8-9
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, smith Jehovah.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Don’t try to make something happen. Let God bring you your mate. He has someone for you far better than what you could pick out.
Jeremiah 29:1 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, smith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.
The Potter
8. Even when your life gets hotter you need to still let God be the potter.
Isa. 64:8
8 But now, O Jehovah, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
God has a plan for your life let God shape you into that plan and purpose.
God had a plan for Gideon even though Gideon did not know it.
God called Him a mighty man of valor.
God called things that are not as though they were.
Take Dominion
9. Learn to take dominion and you will become God’s champion.
Romans 8:31-39
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God (is) for us, who (is) against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justified; 34 who is he that condemned? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also market intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Even as it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; we were accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Matthew 16:19
19 I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
You have the authority over anything the Devil tries to do to you. No one can do it for you.
Who Cares
10. Things won’t seem so grim when you cast your cares upon Him you will feel peace within.
1Peter 5:7
Cast your cares on him for he cares for you.
Matthew 6:33-34
33 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Why worry it does no good all it does is make you sick and depressed.
How Does Your Mind Think?
11. Thinking the worse is part of the curse you can get God’s peace by thinking the best the you can rest in His rest.
Acts 26:2
Think You-self happy
Hebrews 4:1
4:1 let us fear therefore, lest haply, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you should seem to have come short of it.
David was a man who thought of the best and not the worse in any situation he found him-self in.
Abraham was the same way.
How do you think?
Change the way you think to God’s way and your life won’t stink.
Romans 12:1-2
12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, (which is) your spiritual service. 2 And be not fashioned according to this world: but are ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Eternity
12. Life is a journey from eternity to maternity then back to eternity.
Matthew 22:14
14 For many are called, but few chosen.
Romans 8:11
11 But if the Spirit of him that rose up Jesus from the dead dwelled in you, he that rose up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dweller
God knows what is going to happen in your life before it happens.
God has a plan for your life, but you have a choice to follow it or not follow it
God Can Turn It Around
13. Don’t frown or have your eyes looking to the ground, use your faith and God will turn it around.
Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.
Matthew 19:26
26 And Jesus looking upon (them) said to them, with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Are you going to walk by faith or by sight?
Are you going to let circumstances dictate to you how you are going to feel?
Smile
14. Don’t frown why not smile awhile and let that be your lifestyle.
1Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks
Nehemiah 10:8
The Joy of the Lord is your strength
Start changing your facial expressions by smiling instead of frowning all the time.
Instead of crying why not try laughing? Instead of being depressed why not enjoy life
And be happy.
Forgive
15. Life is frail when you are on the forgiveness trail. Walk in the love that never fails, then you will be the head and not the tail.
Mark 11:25
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive if ye have anything against any one, that your Father also who is in the heavens may forgive you your offences.
1Corinthians 13:8
Love never fails
Galatians 67
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man swath, that shall he also reap.
Remember you need to forgive s Go forgive you.
When you are angry and hold grudges towards someone that can cause physical sickness and depression. So why not just forgive Look what the world did to Jesus and he forgave them so we should live to forgive.
Don’t Accept Defeat
16. Don’t retreat and repeat your defeat, instead enhance your advance.\
Matthew 4:6-11
6 and saith unto him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written , He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and, On their hands they shall bear thee up, lest haply thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, Again it is written , Thou shalt not make trial of the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him unto an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 and he said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written , Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him; and behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Meditation on the word is medication for your protection.
When The Enemy Attacks Attack Back
17. Even in life when you get extreme heat, don’t retreat or accept defeat Take the word and speak and the Devil you defeat.
James 4:7
Submit your-self to God resist the Devil and He will flee from you>
When the enemy attacks attack back with the word of God. That is how Jesus defeated the devil when He was being tempted.
Don’t Sit On The Fence
18. With the Devil and the world don’t flirt you will feel like dirt and He can hurt if with your faith you’re not alert.
Matthew 6:33
Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you.
Who or what are you putting first.
God Answers Prayer
19. When you pray have no fear God you will hear, speak to you clear then you must let Him steer.
John 15:16
16 Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
God always answers prayer. Sometimes it is not the way we want it to be answered.
Sometimes the answer comes imediatley .Sometimes God says no. Sometimes God says not now. Then sometimes God says I have something better for you
God’s plan is always better than ours.
Where Is your Attitude?
20. When you get a negative attitude you are on the Devil’s platitude. When you get a positive attitude you are On God’s platitude.
John 10:10
The thief comes to steal kill and to destroy I have come to give you life and to give it to you more abundantly.
Is you attitude negative or positive do you expect the best or the worse. Are you always depressed or happy . you need to change it by speaking the word
Romans 4:17 Says Call things that be not as though they wre.
Start saying I am healed. Iam happy . Instead of frowning start smiling.
Walk in God’s Peace
21. You don’t have to be complaining, when God is giving you His peace that surpasses all human understanding.
Philippians 4:7
7 Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
The Bible also says in
Isaiah 26:3
He whose mind is stayed on me shall have perfect peace.
What are you thinking about?
When you don’t feel God’s peace you need to change what your thinking about.
Pray Listen and Obey
22. When you pray have no fear God you will hear, speak to you clear then you must let Him steer.
Psalm 50:15
15 Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory."
Psalm 55:16
16 But I will call on God, and the Lord will rescue
When a man does something he does three things
1. Plan
2. Work
3. Pray
4. I think it should be pray first to get God’s plan
Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.
Find out God’s plan first, it is far better than yours.
God always answers prayer but is not always the way you want it answered.
Ways prayer is answered
1. Yes and immediately. That is the best.
2. Sometimes it is wait not now, yo’re not ready.
3. Sometimes it is I have something better for you.
4. Sometimes it is just no, that is not good for you.
Can we still have joy even when He says no.
Even When You Have A Setback You Can Have A comeback
23. Even if you have a setback get your passion back and you will have a comeback and that is a fact.
Acts 1:3 3 To whom he also showed himself alive after his passion by many proofs, appearing unto them by the space of forty days, and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God:
Jesus died on the cross He suffered great pain for us. That was quite a setback considering he was doing miracles and was highly honored a week before with a pared of palms
He made a comeback after he went to hell for us He raised from the dead. He the appeared to many people after He rose.
You can have a comeback as well so don’t look at the circumstance go to the word.
Always Move Ahead
23. Even in life when you get extreme heat don’t retreat or accept defeat Take the word and speak and the Devil you defeat.
James 1:2*3
Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow.
Neh.8:10
The Joy of the Lord is your Strength
James 1:12
12 Blessed is the man that endures temptation; for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which (the Lord) promised to them that love him.
Psalm 16:11
11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; in thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
When you are in a trial you need to always have joy why do you think the word says to count it all joy when you have trials?
The word also says the joy of the Lord is our strength.
To get His joy you need to get into His presence. How do you do that?
Through praise and worship.
Blessed is a man who perseveres under a trial for He shall receive a crown of life.
I believe the crown of life could be a stronger anointing of the Holy Spirit Because the Holy Spirit is life.
Even When You Have A Setback You Can Have A comeback
24. Even if you have a setback get your passion back and you will have a comeback and that is a fact.
Acts 1:3 3 To whom he also showed himself alive after his passion by many proofs, appearing unto them by the space of forty days, and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God:

With God There Is No Lack
25. In the world there is a recession which leads to depression, In God’s kingdom if you are faithful in your tithe God will always provide, and you will survive.
Malachi 3:8-12
8 "Should people cheat God? Yet you have cheated me!
"But you ask, 'What do you mean? When did we ever cheat you?'
"You have cheated me of the tithes and offerings due to me. 9 You are under a curse, for your whole nation has been cheating me. 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," say the Lord of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! 11 Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe," say the Lord of Heaven's Armies. 12 "Then all nations will call you blessed, for your land will be such a delight," says the Lord of Heaven's Armies.
Psalm 23:1
Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Philippians 4:19
19 And my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Your first step in God meeting your needs is you need to tithe.
I have been doing this for 39 years now and god has always met my needs.
The next step is to find out a plan that God has for you and stay in it.
Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.
Stay on His Course and He will be your source.
I Am The Vine You Are The Branches
20. Don’t whine you are a part of God’s vine He Says when you become mine everything will turn out fine.
John 15:5
5 "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
Without Jesus you can do nothing. With Jesus we can do everything. We can do the impossible.
Have A Merry Heart
21. Instead of having depression in your lifestyle of expression why not changes it joy and let others of you have a good impression.
Proverbs 17:22
22 A joyful heart promoteth healing; but a broken spirit drieth up the bones.
It has been a prove fact that if you have a merry heart full of laughter you will feel better physically. So start smiling and laughing more.
Love Never Fails
26. In your living don’t let hate be your fate instead let forgiving be a part of your living.
1Corinthians 13:8
Love never fails
1John 4:8
God is love.
Psalm 136:26
His love endures forever.
Remember people are not perfect. They have a love that ends and will fail you.
God’s love never fails because He is love and He is perfect. Peoples love is usually
Conditional God’s love us unconditional. Peoples love runs out God’s love never ends.
People will leave you and forsake you but as it says in.
Joshua 1:5
He never leaves us or forsakes us.
God is always with us no matter where we go. Why because He lives within us.
God’s Ability
27. Being God’s leader means you have availability, accountability, and responsibility with God’s ability to do the impossibility.
1Samuel 34-38 34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant was keeping his father's sheep; and when there came a lion, or a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock,
35 I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth; and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
36 Thy servant smote both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
37 And David said, Jehovah that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and Jehovah shall be with thee.
"I can't go in these," he protested to Saul. "I'm not used to them." So David took them off again. 40 He picked up five smooth stones from a stream and put them into his shepherd's bag. Then, armed only with his shepherd's staff and sling, he started across the valley to fight the Philistine. 41 Goliath walked out toward David with his shield bearer ahead of him, 42 sneering in contempt at this ruddy-faced boy. 43 "Am I a dog," he roared at David, "that you come at me with a stick?" And he cursed David by the names of his gods. 44 "Come over here, and I'll give your flesh to the birds and wild animals!" Goliath yelled. 45 David replied to the Philistine, "You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven's Armies—the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46 Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! 47 And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord's battle, and he will give you to us!" 48 As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him. 49 Reaching into his shepherd's bag and taking out a stone, he hurled it with his sling and hit the Philistine in the forehead. The stone sank in, and Goliath stumbled and fell faces down on the ground. 50 So David triumphed over the Philistine with only a sling and a stone, for he had no sword. 51 Then David ran over and pulled Goliath's sword from its sheath. David used it to kill him and cut off his head.
David knew how much ability he had in of himself but he also knew how ability he had in God.

Serve The Lord With Gladness Not Sadness
28. In your serving do it with gladness not sadness.
Psalm 100:2
2 Serve Jehovah with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
If you are serving the Lord in the church with an attitude of sadness you either
You need to change your attitude or find something you can do with gladness.
Find out the plan God wants you to do then you will be anointed to do it and happy
When you do it.
What Is Your Lifestyle?
29. Don’t be down with your frown smile awhile and let that be your lifestyle.
Proverbs 17:22
A merry Heart does well like medicine.
A sad heart will sometimes make sick so why not change the way you’re feeling
And be merry then you will have happy heart. This will even cause you to
Feel better physically.
Change your lifestyle and quit frowning and star smiling.
Embrace God’s Great Grace
30. Embracing God’s great grace will help you to keep your joy to run in His race.
Embracing fear will cause that grace and joy to disappear.
Philppians 1:6
6 being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ:
James 1:2-4
2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;
3 Knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience.
4 And let patience have (its) perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.
So what are you embracing Grace or fear?
I have heard said
Grace is God’s grip on us and faith is our grip on God.
Serving God
31. When serving God don’t have negative commotion in your emotion and God will give you a promotion.
Psalm 100:2
2 Serve Jehovah with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Joseph served the Lord with gladness no matter where he was even in prison.
Check your attitude on how you are serving God.
Serve the Lord with gladness not sadness.
