short story

Strawberries, what do they make us feel? Looking at it, smelling it, tasting it.

This strawberries colour is strong and soft at the same time. The pure red that we all wish to see in our baskets when buying them, and the little leaves on the top look healthy and fresh.

The small seeds have this yellow-beige colour that is so familiar to everyone who´s ever seen and eaten one of these berries. The flawless beauty of summer in these fruits.

The scent is breathtaking for every strawberry-lover on earth, sweet like sugar, soft like cotton candy, and still, this strong fruity smell that you can’t forget ever again.

This invitation to eat, the knowledge that this one in front of you will taste exactly how she smells, and that it will make you happy. Just happy; starting with the first bite. When the seeds softly touch your tongue, and the juice runs out of the fruit.

Within seconds you know you never want to miss this taste again, because your heart is so full of love for this red friend.

It feels so soft, so innocent that you´re being extra careful with it

The aroma as powerful and catching as the scent that invited you. Every bite that follows make the feeling of passion grow. No limits.

Everything reminds you of summer. No matter if it's freezing cold outside or if it’s already warmer.

You know that by the third bite your lips are slightly stained with a soft red

The last bite is like a goodbye. It hurts, might even feel like a little heartbreak. But you enjoyed the time that has passed. It was enchanting. And when you feel it slipping away you’re scared that you will forget about her. But the aroma stays on your lips and tongue, the scent in your nose. The beauty will be remembered in your brain, and the feelings will stay in your heart forever. Thank you, red friend, it was amazing and I won't forget about you.
