Black Vs White

The roar of the rotten husk echoed throughout the hills, eyes gone wide and mouths baring their rotting human-like teeth. The white fox squeaked in terror and alarm, her hind paws moving on their own in some attempt to get herself out of harm’s way however she slipped on an uprooted rock and went tumbling to the ground. It grinned down at the downed lady, it’s smile rotten and evil. It’s front eye narrowed in hatred for the fox it once loved, one that had been taken away from him. He had made a promise to her once before he left his village a long time ago, that he would return and they would be together again like they once were.
In some ways he was keeping that promise cuz even though he was turned into this…thing, he still returned for her like he promised and they would be together…soon. Instead of meeting white fur, the rocky and grass covered ground met its lack of a face, cutting open several parts of rotten flesh to allow crimson lifeforce to ooze out. As he lifted himself off the ground, drops of blood fell from the giant chunk of meat, staining the green grass deep crimson. Some of the liquid got into his front eye, bleeding his vision red both from the blood and fury.
Panting heavily from her frantic but messy tumble, she quickly stood up on her hind legs. Her kimono was
