Introduction.

Before I had known I was a bloodthirsty vamp, I was actually a nice person. But when I learned who-nay-what, I really was...something...changed.

But lets go back, back to the beginning, when it all started. I remember...vaguely..

The blood..and the vampire..Reina...she had bitten me before I could die. I remember I had been hit by a car that day, and I was gravely injured..fatally injured.

I had not known what Milaya was, but I remember the searing pain, the fire, the burns I felt when she sunk her teeth into my shoulder. I remember screaming in pain, Milayaa murmuring a soft lullaby, telling me I was alright.

I woke up later. I mirror was on the ceiling, and i was stretched flat on a table. I lay rigid with shock as i stared at my reflection, for my eyes were no longer blue, my skin was no longer tanned.

I was pale, a ghostly white. But that wasnt all.

I opened my eyes wide, for they were the most beautiful, perfect color I had ever seen in my life. Better than Milaya's golden, Kikani's brown.

For my eyes were a vibrant, glowing red.

And that was just how I liked them.

Chapter 1.

"Sally, wake up! Time to eat and go to school." My mother called from downstairs. The floors muffled the sound, as did my closed door. I wasnt intending on skipping school, but right now I just wanted to lay here, rigid as a stone, and let my mind wander...

But I knew I couldnt do that. Besides, I had promised to go to school with my best friend, Milaya.

So I got dressed, brushed my hair, my teeth, and went downstairs.

My mother sat at the table, her brown hair pulled into a tight bun, while my father sat across from her, his black hair spiky as always.

That was the thing..neither of my parents had blonde hair like I did. Though I had learned I inherited my hair color form my grandmother.

My little twelve year old brother came thundering down the steps, racing past me. I gasped, shocked and startled. Before I could say a word he was munching on a piece of toast.

"Charlie, do you have to be such a pig?" I scoffed, and he looked at me, crossing his eyes.

I rolled mine and grabbed a pancake of the pan, flipping it onto a plate and pouring syrup
