Episode 1

A girl is crying in her room.
She straightens up and goes to her closet.
The girl changes into her school uniform.
She goes downstairs and sits down at the kitchen table.
Her mom walks in.
Mom: Good morning Rose! Or I should say Konichiwa Rose! Since we live in Japan now…..
Rose: (girl) Yeah, yeah I get it, mom.
Rose grabs her bag and walks out the front door.
LATER AT THE SUBWAY
A boy walks over to Rose and starts jumping up and down.
Boy: Hey! Hey Rose! Hey, Hey Rose!
Rose stares blankly ahead.
Boy: Hey Rose! Woohoo! Rose! Hello! Rosie! Konichiwa!!!
Rose: (mean) WHAT?
Boy: You acknowledged my existence!!!!
Rose: Yes, Yes I did. Now what do you want?
Boy: Oh I don’t know just…..
The boy puckers his lips.
Rose pushes his face away.
Boy: Awwww! But I love you!!!
Rose: Too bad, Ichikon.
Ichikon: (boy) starts to cry.
Ichikon: But your mommy said-
Rose: I don’t care what my mommy said!
The subway gets there and they get on.
LATER AT SCHOOL
Rose goes to her locker.
Ichikon sneaks up behind her.
Rose: What?
Rose opens her locker door.
Ichikon: Wow! You noticed I was here! Well, anyways……
Ichikon moves over beside her locker door.
Ichikon: (Sexy voice) Since we ARE officially dating…lets kiss.
Rose: Let’s not.
Rose hits him in the face with her locker door.
Rose shuts the door and walks away.
Rose: Who said anything about dating anyways?
Ichikon: Your mommy!!!
Rose: Like I said before I don’t care about what my mommy says!
Ichikon starts to cry and Rose walks away.
1ST PERIOD
Rose walks into a classroom filled with several boxes of bones, organs kept in liquids, and animals kept in cages.
A weird man with green hair is at the front of the classroom is at the front of the room.
Rose Excuse me. Is this room 204?
Man: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
Rose: Oh, ok...I’ll go!
Rose turns to leave when the man runs towards her.
His hand is on fire.
Rose: Oh!
Rose throws water on his hand.
The fire gets bigger.
Man: AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Rose sprays fire extinguisher on his hand and the fire goes out.
Man: Arigato! Arigato! Arigato!
Rose: Ummm your welcome!
Man: Now, what where you asking?
Rose: Is this room 204?
The Man grabs a bandage roll.
Man: Yes.
Rose: Okay. Here let me.
Rose grabs the bandage roll and starts to wrap his hand.
Ichikon walks in the room and starts crying again.
Rose: Go away ball baby.
Rose stares Ichikon down.
Ichikon runs away.
Man: I’m Mr. Kubota.
Rose: Like the tractor?
Mr. Kubota (man): What?
Rose: Never mind.
The bell rings for first period.
Rose goes to a seat and sits down.
Other people start to come in.
Girl: Oh! Mr. Kubota! What happened to your hand?!
Rose snickers.
Mr. Kubota: Oh I just burned it during an experiment. It’s really nothing Mayumi….wait what’s your last name?
Girl: Mayumi Sakura.
Mr. Kubota: Oh okay Mayumi, please sit next to Rose. She’s our new transfer student so please make her feel welcome.
Mayumi: Okay!
Mayumi sits down beside Rose.
Mayumi: Hi! My name’s Mayumi Sakura. What’s yours?
Rose: Rose. Rose Myers.
Mayumi: Oh you must be from the U. S.
A boy from across the room starts to throw a fit.
Mr. Kubota: If you aren’t going to listen you can leave!
Boy: Okay!
The boy jumps out the open window.
Rose: Oh my god! Is he okay? Why did he do that?
Mayumi: Oh silly! That’s how we Japanese people make an exit. It HAS to be cool.
Rose: Um…ok…
Mayumi raises her hand.
Mr. Kubota: Yes Miss Sakura?
Mayumi giggles.
Mayumi: May I go to the restroom?
Mr. Kubota: Just take the hall pass.
Mayumi: Oh, I need the vent pass instead.
Mr. Kubota gives her a pass.
Mayumi pulls a vent out of the ceiling and jumps up into it.
Rose: (thinks) Okay its official I’m afraid of Japan.
LATER AT LUNCH
Rose sits at an empty table.
She opens her lunch bag and pulls out a hot dog.
When she looks back up, there are twenty dudes at her table, all staring at her.
Rose: Uh …hi...er…Konichiwa…
Boys: Konichiwa!!!
Boy 1: What is that thing?
Boy 1 points at the hot dog.
Rose: A hot dog.
Boy 2: What’s a hot dog?
Boy 3: It looks like my-
Mayumi covers Boy 3’s mouth.
Mayumi: Okay boys, leave the girl alone. It’s time for you to go.
Boys: Awwww!!!!
Mayumi pushes them away.
She sits down beside Rose.
Mayumi: Sorry ‘bout that. They’re idiots.
Rose: I’m used to it. In America, they’re bigger perverts.
Mayumi’s eyes widen.
Mayumi: Whoa! That must be terrifying!
Rose: Yeah it kind of is.
They finish eating and go to their next class.
Mayumi and Rose walk inside.
Rose notices a strange, mysterious, boy with black hair sitting on the corner.
The boy looks over at Rose.
Rose looks back at him.
They both look away, embarrassed to be caught staring.
Rose and Mayumi sit down.
Rose (whispers in Mayumi’s ear): Who is that boy in the corner?
Mayumi glances in the corner.
Mayumi: (whispers back) That’s Hanataro Suzuki! The hottest boy in our grade! Well maybe Sanjo is a little hotter but….you get my point!
Rose: Suzuki? Like the ATV?
Mayumi: What?
Rose: Nothing never mind…..one second…
Rose pulls out English to Japanese dictionary.
Rose laughs hysterically.
Mayumi: What?
Rose: (whispers) Hanataro means pretty flower in Japanese!
Mayumi: Yeah ha-ha! I know right.
The teacher walks in.
Teacher: Okay quiet down now!
LATER AFTER SCHOOL
Rose goes to Mr. Kubota’s room.
Mr. Kubota is grading papers.
Mr. Kubota: A minus- ow!
Mr. Kubota rubs his hand.
He sees Rose.
Mr. Kubota: Ah! Hello Rose! How are you?
Rose: I’m fine. How’s your hand?
Mr. Kubota: Just fine! Ow...
Rose: Here, let me fix it.
Rose takes the bandage off and rubs a green salve on his burn, then re-wraps his hand.
Rose: It should be healed in a few days or so, you should still go to the doctor if you can.
Mr. Kubota: Okay then.
Rose: Well, I have to go. Bye Mr. Kubota!
Rose waves at him.
Mr. Kubota waves back.
Rose leaves.

Episode 2

Rose walks out her front door.
Ichikon runs and tackles her.
Rose: What the?!
Ichikon pins her down.
Rose: Let me go!
Ichikon: No! Kiss me!
Rose: No you sicko!
Something black knocks Ichikon off of Rose.
It stands up and Rose sees its Hanataro.
Rose: Hanataro!
Hanataro looks at her.
It seems like everything around them has disappeared and that they are the only thing in the universe.
Rose leans forward and stumbles.
Hanataro runs over and holds onto her arms, steadying her.
Hanataro: Are you okay?
Rose: Uh...Uh…yeah I’m okay.
The world goes back to normal.
Hanataro nods.
He lets go of Rose’s arms and walks off.
Rose: (thinks) Wait….I don’t want you to go….
Rose goes back inside her house, changes the mud covered hoodie into a clean one and walks back towards the subway station.
Rose steps on Ichikon’s face on her way there.
Ichikon moans loudly.
LATER AT SCHOOL
Rose goes to first period early.
Mr. Kubota: Ah! Rose! There you are I’m in need of your medical abilities right now!
Rose: Is your hand hurting you again?
Mr. Kubota: No, my hand is much better thanks to you. Ah, but it is this young man who needs your abilities.
Mr. Kubota motions to a bruised Ichikon.
Rose: No. He’s a lunatic.
Rose sits down at her seat.
Ichikon: (crying) Why do you hate me? I love you Rose!!!
Rose: Shut up and go away retard.
Ichikon: But…
Rose: Remember what happened this morning? Well if you don’t shut up and leave me alone, I swear to my life I will beat the crap out of you.
Ichikon runs away.
Mr. Kubota: Rose?
Rose: (thinks) Crap, I forgot about Mr. Kubota being here completely.
Rose: Sorry Mr. Kubota.
AFTER SCHOOL
Rose walks outside.
Someone with blue hair throws a rose at her.
The rose is covered with dried blood and has a note attached.

Rose: (thinks) Is this for real? Or just a prank? Maybe it’s some stalker that’s going to kidnap me if I come to the park.
Rose folds the note, puts it in her pocket and clutches the rose to her chest.
Rose walks towards the subway.
AT ROSE’S HOUSE 12:00
Rose: (thinks) Okay, I’ll go. I’ll just bring a gun.
Rose reaches under her bed, and pulls out a pistol.
She loads the pistol and puts it in her bag.
She also changes into a black corset and black skinny jeans.
Rose jumps out the window, landing outside on the lawn.
AT THE PARK
Rose comes, and no one’s there.
Rose: (thinks) They’re hiding.
A voice speaks up from behind her.
Voice: Ah, curiosity killed the cat didn’t it?
The voice laughs, and Rose spins around to see a woman with pink hair, with guards on either side of her.
Rose: (thinks) Crap! I should have known the stalker would have back-up.
Rose takes a step back.
Woman: No, no. Don’t leave. I assume you are interested in our rebellion since you came.
Rose: (thinks) She’s serious. Or maybe she’s a lunatic.
Woman: I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Rangiku Kiryu. From the letter?
Rose nods.
Rangiku: Well, I guess we should start initiation. Let’s go boys.
Suddenly, the boys are on either side of Rose.
Rangiku takes a step towards Rose.
Rose pulls out her gun and shoots at Rangiku.
Rangiku dodges and a guard knocks the gun out of Rose’s hand.
Rangiku signals and the guards hold her arms.
Rangiku steps forward and fangs come from her mouth.
Rose: They look so real…
Rangiku bites Rose’s neck.
Rose passes out.
ROSE’S DREAM
Rose is in a white room.
She blinks and the room is covered in blood.
She looks in a corner and sees the mangled bodies of Mayumi, her parents, Hanataro, and Mr. Kubota.
Rose sees a mirror.
She stands and looks in the mirror.
She is wearing a white dress, covered with blood.
Her body is covered with splotches of blood.
She opens her mouth.
She sees fangs covered with blood.
Rose watches as a tear runs down her face.

Episode 3

Rose wakes up in her room.
Rose: (thinks) Phew, it was just a dream.
She looks at her clock.
It reads 7:30.
Rose: Crap! I’m late.
Rose dresses in her school uniform and hurries downstairs.
Rose: Mom! Why didn’t you wake me up?
Her mom isn’t there.
She looks in the kitchen and sees a note.
She picks it up.
Note:
Rose,
I know that you forgot today was Saturday because you were complaining how you thought it was Thursday yesterday. Okay, so no school. Also, I and your brother are at the market. We didn’t want to wake you. Please call me when you wake up.
-Mom
Rose: Oh… well that explains a lot.
Rose walks over to where her phone is charging on the kitchen counter.
She picks it up and unplugs it from the charging chord.
The phone beeps.
Rose checks her messages.
Under Ichikon it says 204 new messages.
Rose: ….and delete!
Rose deletes all of the messages from Ichikon.
Rose notices a new message from an unknown number.
Rose: Probably just another idiot with the wrong number.
She checks it.
Message:
Hello rose this message is from Rangiku Kiryu. I kno that u remember about last nights incident. Respond when u get this message.
Rose’s eyes widen as she reads the message.
Rose: (thinks) T-That wasn’t a dream…
She re-reads the message, and then calls her mom.
Mom: Hello?
Rose: Hey Mom.
Mom: Oh Hello. Did you just get up?
Rose: Yeah, I may not be here when you get back. I have something I have to do today. If you need something, or just want to call me, just call my cell phone. I’ll have it on all day.
Mom: What are you doing?
Rose: I’m going out with Mayumi. She wanted me to go shopping to see the latest styles.
Mom: Oh! That sounds like fun! What is your friend’s name?
Rose: Mayumi Sakura.
Mom: Oh! I work with her mother. Her mother is a very nice woman.
Rose: Oh, cool. Well I got to go. See you mom.
Mom: Love you.
Rose: Love you…
She hangs up.
Rose: I hate lying like that…
Rose calls Mayumi.
Mayumi picks up.
Mayumi: Konichiwa!!!
Rose: Hi Mayumi.
Mayumi: Oh Rose! Hey, what’s up?
Rose: Hey I got to go out and I told my mom that I was going shopping with you. Is that okay?
Mayumi: Of course! I didn’t know you wanted to go shopping-

Rose goes upstairs and changes out of her school uniform into a venom blue corset and white skinny jeans.
Rose: My weekend apparel…
Rose smiles and looks in the mirror.
Rose’s smile fades, as she sees herself.
Her hair has turned a shade darker and her already pale skin, a shade paler.
Her lips were deep red and full, and her eyes were bigger, her eyelashes longer and darker.
Rose gasps.
Rose: I-It really wasn’t a dream…..
Rose sees a tear run down her face.
Rose wipes it away, and looks out the window.
The day is dark and cloudy, threatening to rain at any time.
Rose goes downstairs, grabs her phone, and goes outside.
Rose: The day kind of fits my mood….
Rose reaches into a bag she brought with her.
Rose sees she has a gun in her bag.
Rose: (thinks) Thank god. Now if Ichikon sees me, and tries to pin me down again, I can point this at him.
She laughs at the thought of it.
Rose starts to walk down the street and almost bumps into a boy coming out of his front gate.
The boy turns towards her.
Rose: Hanataro!
Hanataro: Rose!
The universe disappears and it is only Hanataro and Rose in the world.
Rose feels like she can go into Hanataro’s mind.
A voice calls her back to real life.
Voice: Hanataro! Hanataro! Who is this girl? Why are you two staring at each other obsessively! What is going on!
Rose looks over and sees a girl holding Hanataro’s hand.
Her heart drops.
Hanataro: Sorry Hana. It’s just a surprise to see my friend here…
Hana (girl): Friend?
Hanataro: Yeah, she’s my friend Rose.
Hana laughs.
Hana: Rose? What kind of name is that?
Rose: It’s American….
Hana ignores her.
Hana: Well, we best be going Hanataro-chan! We don’t want to miss that movie you promised me. After all it is our third date!
Rose: (thinks) Oh my god… this girl is destroying me from the inside out….Wait! Why should I care? It’s not like I would want to date Hanataro or anything.
She moves her hair to hide her face.
She blushes blood red.
Hanataro: Yeah…whatever you say Hana.
Hana: Please! Call me your lover! Or at least Hana-chan?
Hanataro: Sure, Hana-chan…
They walk off, and Rose moves her hair back to normal.
Rose: (thinks) What was that all about anyways? Hm, who knows? Oh well…. As soon as I get to the park I’ll phone Rangiku.
LATER AT PARK
Rose sits on a bench and pulls open her phone.
She calls the unknown number.
Music plays.
Operator: This number cannot be reached please re-dial and try again. Thank You.
Rose: What? You’re kidding! NO!
Rangiku appears in front of her.
Rangiku: Looking for me?
Rose: How did you do that?
Rangiku smiles.
Rangiku: Magic.
She laughs.
Rose frowns.

Episode 4

Rangiku: Well, time to go!
Rose: Wait! What?
Rangiku grabs Rose’s arm and they disappear.
Suddenly, they appear in a white room.
Rose remembers her dream and shivers.
Rangiku eyes Rose suspiciously as she drags her down a hallway.
Rose: Where are we going?
Rangiku: Well, this is the HQ for our alliance, and you are going to be training.
Rose: Wait! NO! I never agreed to this!
Rangiku: You did by joining, and you joined by meeting me at the park and of course…
Rose touches the two bite marks on her neck.
Rangiku: If you wondering what’s going to happen with your mother, we have her taken care of.
Rose: Taken care of?
Rangiku laughs.
Rangiku: No, it’s not like we harmed her in any way, we just convinced her to let you go on vacation with your new Japanese friends!
A FEW HOURS EARLIER, AT ROSE’S MOM’S WORK PLACE
Rangiku walks in with sunglasses on, flanked by two huge bodyguards.
Rose’s Mom: Hello. How may I help you?
Rangiku: Ah, are you Rose’s mother?
Rose’s Mom: I’m so sorry! What did she do this time!
Rose’s Mom pulls out her wallet.
Rose’s Mom: I’m prepared to pay you however much you want! I’m so sorry!
Rangiku laughs
Rangiku: We’re Rose’s friends. Rose didn’t do anything!
Rose’s Mom: Uhh… you look a little too old to be a friend of Rose’s.
Rangiku: (whispers to guards) Disguises!
Rangiku takes off her glasses and jacket and throws them in the floor.
The body guards rip off their suits and underneath are shorts and t-shirts.
Rangiku is in a bikini.
Rose’s Mom stares.
Rose’s Mom: (thinks) What the… whoa ok this is unreal…. Her breasts are so big!
Rangiku reads her mind.
Rangiku smiles and looks into Rose’s Mom’s Eyes.
Rangiku’s eyes begin to swirl.
Rangiku: You see, Rose wants to go with us on vacation. We’re going to the beach. You’re ok with that right?
Rose’s Mom: Yes.
Rangiku’s eyes stop swirling.

Rangiku skips out of the workplace.
The guards pick up her jacket and glasses and follow her.
BACK TO THE PRESENT
Rose: She’d never believe that!
Rangiku: We’re very convincing!
Rangiku stares into Rose’s eyes.
Rangiku’s eyes swirl and Rose looks away.
Rangiku: Well, we’re here.
Rangiku opens a door and shoves Rose in.
Rangiku: See you at dinner, by the way I hope you like your vacation.
Rose: WAIT!
Rangiku slams the door shut and locks it.
Rose pounds on the door for a while than quits.
Rose looks around the room.
It’s well kept, but it looks like someone lives there.
There’s a phone over by the bed.
Rose races over and picks it up.
Rose looks at a list of numbers, and she sees one for Rangiku.
Rose dials and Rangiku picks up.
Rangiku: Hello? Rose.
Rose: What’s going on? This room has someone in it already.
Rangiku: Ah, yes. About that…. It’s someone you already know… It’s going to be a little surprise for both of you. He should be here in 3…2…1…
The door knob starts to turn.
Rose drops the phone.
Rangiku laughs then hangs up.
The door opens and Rose falls backwards.
Voice: (boy) What the?
Rose squeezes her eyes shut.

A hand finds hers.
Rose opens her eyes and looks up.

Rose: (thinks) Oh great, I’m… Different.
Hanataro: It’s also strange for her to put you in a room with me.
Rose: She said that she knew we had met before.
Hanataro raises an eyebrow.

Rose: (thinks) Crap, now I’m in the middle of something she dreamed up.
Hanataro: I’m sorry; I caught you up in this. I should be more welcoming.
Rose: I caught you off guard. Plus, you don’t have to be so nice to me. I don’t deserve it, really.

Rose: No, you need to understand. I’ve been nothing but trouble, pain, and idiocy my entire life for my family. Actually I caused my father’s death. You have no reason to be this nice, kind, and polite to me.
Hanataro stares with his mouth open.
Hanataro: I had no idea.
Rose: Please, just don’t. It doesn’t matter. I just ask that you don’t coddle me.
Hanataro: I wasn’t trying to-
Rose: I know. I’m sorry for getting mad there. I just don’t like it when people are like that to me.
Hanataro: Rose! I’m not being polite, just to be formal. I am polite because I want to act like a gentleman. If I did what you said, I would be acting like a complete @$$. I’m sorry, but I can’t do what you say. Anyways, this is who I am.
A tear flows down her cheek.
Rose: I’m sorry! That was really selfish of me.
Hanataro: No!
Hanataro wraps his arms around her, trying to comfort her.
Rose blushes wildly.
The door flies open and Rangiku jumps in with a camera.
Rangiku rapidly takes pictures of Rose and Hanataro.
Rose screams.
Rangiku: This is either true love or…
Hanataro: Shut up, Rangiku.
Rose: (thinks) Yeah, sure. A gentleman.
Rangiku: Ha-ha! You’re so funny!
Rose remembers that voice faintly.
Rose: Wait! You were…
Rangiku: Yep. I was Hana.
Rose balls up her fists.
Rose: I CAN’T TAKE IT ANY MORE!
Rose runs towards Rangiku.
Rangiku tries to move out of the way, but runs into a table.
Rose grabs Rangiku’s arms, and pins them behind her back.
She holds her arms with one hand. With the other she holds her neck out.
Hanataro puts a hand on Rose’s shoulder.
Rose calms.
Rose leans down to her ear.
Rose: (whispers) If it wasn’t for Hanataro, god help me I would’ve snapped your neck right here, right now. Be thankful.
Rose releases her.
Rangiku: YOU DON’T THREATEN ME!
Rangiku slaps Rose.
Blood sprays from Rose’s mouth.
Rose falls to her knees.
Rangiku: Disrespectful scum! You should be thankful! Vampirism is a great gift. There are millions out there who would easily give their life for an opportunity like you had. Think about that, little b****
Rangiku storms out of the room.
Rose curls up into a little ball, as blood leaks out of her mouth.
Rose: (thinks) Dad, I’m scared. Daddy, help me.
Hanataro dashes into the bathroom.
Hanataro takes deep breaths.
Hanataro tears off his shirt, and runs to the shower.
He turns the water on, and jumps in, with his pants still on.
He turns it to cold.
Cold water sprays him, and he continues taking deep breaths.
LATER BEFORE DINNER
Hanataro finally cleans up and comes out of the bathroom.
Rose is sitting on the floor staring at the wall.
Hanataro: Rose, it’s time for dinner.
Rose looks up and she has tears in her eyes.
Rose: I-I’m so sorry. I’m such a @$$. You are just trying to be kind to me, and all I do is push you away!
A tear runs down her face.
Hanataro: No, Rose.
Rose: I need you to listen to me. I’m so stupid. I push away any help I can get. Then, people make sacrifices for me, and I’m just… ungrateful. I don’t deserve you to be nice to me.
Hanataro: Rose, I want to be your friend. I don’t want you to push me away, like you are now when you’re saying this. Don’t deny it. You want to be my friend.
Rose: I do. I don’t deny it, but….
Hanataro grabs her hand and pulls her up.
Hanataro: Then, if you want to be my friend, and you don’t deny it, be my friend.
Hanataro hugs Rose.
Rose lets a tear fall on his shirt.
Rose lets go.
Rose: Thanks. I guess you’re right. I better get ready.
Rose grabs her bag that was in the room and drags it to the bathroom.
Rose changes then comes out.
Hanataro: Let’s go.
Rose nods.
Rose and Hanataro leave.
AT DINNER
Rose and Hanataro sit at a large table with many people also sitting on it.
At the very end of the table, Rangiku sits sipping a red liquid out of a wine glass.
Rose turns to Hanataro.
Rose: Is everyone here…?
Hanataro: Yeah, it’s all vampires.
Rose: And that red liquid…. Is it…?
Hanataro nods.
Rose gulps.
Rangiku picks up a spoon and taps it against her wine glass.
Everyone looks at her.
Rangiku: Well, I have an announcement before we begin dinner.
Everyone looks puzzled.
Rangiku: We have a new recruit. Please give a round of applause for Rose Myers.
Rose sinks into her seat as the vampires all clap confusedly and stare at her.
Hanataro puts his hand on her arm underneath the table.
Rose grabs his arm back.
Rangiku: Also, someone left a black Toyota Corolla parked in front of the building. Please move it, so that we can get the hearses in.
Rose: (thinks) Hearses?
Rangiku: Well, dinner is served!
Servants come out with platters with lids.
The servants set one platter in front of each person.
The servants take the lids off of the platters.
On the platter lays a packet filled with blood, like in hospitals.
Rose grimaces.
Hanataro slides his hand down to hers.
Rose’s face flashes with surprise and she looks down to avoid from being seen blushing.
Rose glances over at Hanataro.
Hanataro: (whispers) I don’t think Rangiku will let you leave grounds, but I’m allowed to leave temporarily. I can get you some real food, if you want.
Rose: (whispers) Thank you. I would appreciate that.
Hanataro nods.
A woman sitting on Rose’s other side sneers at her.
Woman: Why don’t you eat?
Rose: I-I’m not hungry…
Woman: That’s stupid, all vampires are always hungry! I bet you aren’t even a real vampire! I should erase your pointless existence, by snapping your neck right here right now!
Hanataro leans over Rose and gets in the woman’s face.
Hanataro: You should leave her alone Washira. She’s a new vampire. She doesn’t want any food now.
Washira: (woman) Humph...
Hanataro gets closer and bares his fangs at her.
Washira backs off.
Hanataro leans back to his normal place.
Rose grips his hand harder.
AFTER DINNER
Rose and Hanataro go back to the room.
Rose opens the door.
The two beds are gone, and there is a queen size bed there instead.
Rose: Seriously?
Hanataro: Rangiku’s going to do this until she feels she got her revenge for when you beat her.
Rose sighs.
Hanataro grabs his keys and hovers by the door.
Rose sits on the bed.
Hanataro: I…. uh… will be back later.
Rose: Thank you again.
Hanataro: No problem.
He leaves.
Rose flops back on the bed.
Rose: I’m so confused right now.
Rose lays there for a moment, and then sits up.
She pushes her hair to one side and stands.
She goes to the bathroom and changes into some pajamas.
Rose comes back out and lies on the couch.
Rose falls asleep.
ROSE’S DREAM
Rose is in the white room.
The mangled bodies are in the corner.
Rose turns around and Hanataro is standing behind her.
He smiles evilly and flashes his fangs at her.
Rose opens her mouth but no sound comes out.
Hanataro steps forward.
Rose wakes up to Hanataro shaking her.
Her eyes snap open and Hanataro jumps across the room.
Rose blinks, and he comes back over.
Hanataro: Your eyes. They-They were different colors. Ice blue and Blood red.
Rose: I’m sorry… did I fall asleep? What time is it?
Hanataro: Its only midnight. Vampires are supposed to stay up, so you will have to adjust your schedule.
Hanataro hands her a bag.
Hanataro: I didn’t know what you liked so I just got you a sandwich.
Rose: Thank you so much!
Rose takes the bag and pulls a sandwich out of it.
Rose takes an eager bite into the sandwich.
Rose eats the sandwich.
Hanataro: I know that I said you should switch your sleeping times around, but you need some sleep.
Rose yawns.
Rose: Okay.
Hanataro: You can have the bed.
Rose: Wait, there’s only the couch left I can’t let you do that!
Hanataro: Its either that or, having Rangiku giving us a rude awakening with a camera.
Rose: I can sleep on the couch!
Hanataro: No, Rose just sleep in the bed. I’ll find some way to have this bed moved by tomorrow.
Rose gives up and sleeps on the bed.
LATER THAT NIGHT
Rose wakes up and finds Hanataro’s arms wrapped around her.
Rose blushes wildly.
Rose looks in a mirror across the room and sees that he’s awake.
Rose moves closer into his arms and falls asleep again.
Hanataro smiles and lays his head on a pillow.

Episode 5

Rose wakes up and sees Hanataro asleep beside her.
Rose blushes and crawls out of the bed.
Rose sees a clock.
The clock reads 10:00AM.
Rose: I should go back to sleep, but I can’t.
Rose goes to the bathroom and takes a shower.
She changes into a black corset, a black mini skirt and combat boots.
Rose pulls her hair down, and it flows down her back.
Rose notices her hair has turned completely black.
Rose sighs and comes out of the bathroom.
Hanataro is sitting on the couch.
Hanataro jumps when he sees her.
Rose: Hi.
Hanataro: Hey.
Hanataro pats the spot next to him on the couch.
Hanataro: Come here. I have something to show you.
Rose comes over and sits beside Hanataro.
Hanataro opens a laptop.
He types a website into an address bar.
A gossip site pops up.
Rose: What’s this?
Hanataro: One second….
Hanataro clicks on a story.
A picture of Rose and Hanataro hugging pops up.
Rose: What the?
Hanataro: Read the article.
Article:
Emma Black was spotted hugging a mysterious boy at this training center in Japan. The source of this picture was anonymous, but the source says, “I just walked into the room with a camera and apparently something serious was going on, so I just took pictures because after all that was Emma Black!!!!” Now, many fans are already on their way to Japan to find Emma Black, and get that lifelong wanted autograph they wanted.
Rose: They never let go…
Hanataro: Rose, what’s going on?
Rose: Well before I explain that, I want to know why you were on a gossip site in the first place.
Hanataro: Rangiku sent me the link.
Rose: Oh ok. The truth is… when I was a child I was a professional singer and I had a lot of fans. Now that I grew up, not as many people want to listen to me. Still though, there are like thousands of fan boys who want to do me. It’s really stupid, and I just want a normal life. I guess that’s impossible now.
Hanataro: Oh. You know, if you wanted, we could escape here, and have a normal life.
Rose: (thinks) We? What is he suggesting?
Hanataro: Just a thought…
Hanataro shifts uncomfortably.
Rose: My father, he made me become a singer when I was young. I like singing, just not when your father is making you.
Hanataro: Will you sing something for me?
Rose’s face turns red.
Rose: Ah! I-I-I couldn’t!
Hanataro: What are you embarrassed to?
Rose: A-a-a…
Hanataro laughs.
Hanataro: I was just kidding. You don’t have to if you don’t want.
Rose: (nervously) Oh… okay...ha-ha…
Rose: When do they serve meals?
Hanataro: They only serve at dinner, but if you get hungry for blood, they have room service.
Rose: I think I might try some blood. The sandwich didn’t make me feel much better.
Hanataro: We can eat human food, but it doesn’t do anything for us. Are you sure you’re ready to try some?
Rose nods.
Hanataro strolls over to the phone and dials a number.
Hanataro: Yes, this is room 26789. We need two cups and some blood over here. No, regular. Thank you.
Hanataro: They’re very fast.
There is a knock at the door.
Hanataro opens the door and a man wheels a cart in with a teapot and two cups on it.
The man bows and leaves.
Hanataro pours blood into both cups.
Hanataro hands one cup to Rose.
Hanataro: You ready?
Rose: Yes.
Rose counts to three, and then takes a sip of the blood in her cup.
The blood flows down her throat.
Rose drinks the entire cup, in the next gulp.
Hanataro laughs and leans forward.
He brushes a speck of blood off of her cheek.
Rose looks into his eyes.
Hanataro looks into hers.
The world disappears around them.
Rose and Hanataro’s mind’s combine.
Hanataro tries to reach Rose’s section of her mind.
Rose puts a wall up.
Hanataro: (mind) Rose, please take your wall down. I want to know how you feel about me.
Rose: (mind) I can’t do that!
Hanataro: (mind) Rose, you can. Just let go. I will find some way to erase your past memories. I want to be your friend.
Rose hesitates, and then starts to bring down her wall.
A flash brings them back to real life.
Rose and Hanataro fall backwards.
Rangiku is standing in the doorway taking photos.
Rangiku: Gossip sites, watch out. Because Emma Black is coming back!
Rangiku laughs and walks off.
Rose looks up at Hanataro.
Rose: I don’t care anymore.
Hanataro: She can’t interrupt what happens between us.
Rose: Yes.
Hanataro: Rose?
Rose: Yeah?
Hanataro: I love you.
Rose stands up and walks over to Hanataro.
Hanataro stands.
Hanataro kisses Rose.
In the hallway there is a scream.
Hanataro continues to kiss Rose.
There are loud footsteps.
Rose breaks off and looks at the door.
The door flies open and Rangiku stomps in, face red.
Rangiku: I HAVE CAMERAS IN THIS ROOM YOU KNOW!!!!
Rose: I figured that out.
Rangiku reaches underneath her coat and pulls out a gun.
She points it at Rose.
Rangiku smiles evilly.
Rangiku: IT’S OVER ROSE MYERS!
Rose steps towards Rangiku.
Rose places her hand on Rangiku’s hand.
Rangiku drops the gun.
Rose reaches into Rangiku’s mind, with her mind.
Rose: (mind) Rangiku, I know everything now.
Rangiku: (mind) NO YOU DON’T! YOU WILL NEVER KNOW ANYTHING!!!
Rose: (mind) I know that he was important to you. You haven’t seen him for years.
Rangiku: (mind) What are you talking about! You know nothing about him!
Rose: (mind) You should give him a chance. I actually know where he lives. He misses you very much. Ever since you left him, he has been miserable, and Miranda did nothing good for him. She left him within a month. You were the best thing that happened to Dave.
Rangiku: (mind) Dave… he betrayed me to that Miranda hooker he met in a bar. He deserved what he got!
Rose: (mind) Don’t say that. You don’t mean it! You want to love him, like you did before. He is miserable without you. You decided to try to take Hanataro from me because you just want to hurt others, to make up for the grief and betrayal that has gathered in your heart. You just need to let the past be the past, and be yourself. Go back to him.
Rose comes out of Rangiku’s mind.
Rangiku is crying.
Rose smiles.
Rose: Just think about it.
Rangiku: From what I got from the cameras, you need to listen to what you just told me. Let the past be the past.
Rangiku picks up the gun and leaves.
Hanataro: What just happened there?
Rose looks at Hanataro.
Rose: It looks like I have a gift.
Rose smiles.
Hanataro shrugs and steps towards Rose.
Rose reaches for him and they embrace.

Episode 6

Rose is sitting on the couch with her head on Hanataro’s shoulder.
The phone rings.
Rose gets up and answers it.
Rose: Hello?
Rangiku: This is Rangiku. I wanted to tell you that you are free to leave training grounds now. Also, I would like to request your company in a trip to America to find Dave.
Rose: Uh…Okay. Sure, I’ll come.
Rangiku: Thank You. I’ll meet you at the front entrance to the building at midnight tomorrow night.
Rose: Okay.
Rose hangs up.
Hanataro: What’s going on?
Rose: Rangiku wants my company to America.
Hanataro: Wait! No, you can’t leave! I have to come with you!
Rose: She’s not going to let you come.
Hanataro: But, if you’re in America. She could kill you… or worse.
Rose: What’s worse than death?
Hanataro: When you’re a vampire, there’s a lot more that’s worse than death.
Rose: Oh. It’ll be alright.
Hanataro: Come with me…
Hanataro grabs Rose’s hand and a bag, and drags her in the bathroom.
He goes into the shower.
Rose: What are you doing?
Hanataro: Just get in.
Rose: Okay.
Rose gets in and he shuts the door.
Hanataro reaches into the bag and pulls out a gun.
Hanataro: (whispers) This gun can kill any vampire on contact with the bullets in it. I want you to have it. Keep it with you at all times!
Rose takes the gun.
Rose: (whispers) I will thank you. Why are we in the shower though?
Hanataro: (whispers) The cameras. I don’t know if she shut them off yet or not.
Rose: Ok
Rose and Hanataro get out of the shower.
Rose: I think I might go by my house and pick up some things to take with me.
Hanataro: Let me go with you. I’m going to stop by my house too.
Rose: Okay…
Rose and Hanataro go outside and get in a black car.
Hanataro drives to their town and drops Rose off at her house.
Rose: Thanks.
Hanataro: No problem. I’ll come back at noon.
Rose: Okay, I may go somewhere before then.
Hanataro: Okay. Have your gun?
Rose: Yes.
Hanataro nods and drives off.
Rose jumps up into the window of her bedroom.
She opens the window and climbs in.
Rose grabs a large travel bag from under her bed.
Rose packs clothes in it, and closes it.
Rose opens the door to her room and carefully sneaks down the hallway.
She cracks the door to her brother’s room open.
He isn’t there.
She goes downstairs.
She looks in the kitchen and finds that someone spilled Kool-Aid in the floor.
Rose inhales.
Rose: (thinks) Oh my god. That isn’t Kool-Aid.
Rose runs to the closet where the blood is seeping from and throws open the door.
Her mother and brother’s mangled bodies fall out.
Rose screams.
Rose pulls out her phone to call 911.
Rose: (thinks) Wait. I can’t call 911. A vampire could have done this. But why would anyone be after me?
Rose calls Hanataro.
Hanataro: Hello?
Rose hears a screaming baby in the background.
Rose: Hanataro. It’s me, Rose.
Hanataro: Oh! Rose! What’s the matter?
Rose: I went downstairs, and I found the bodies…of…of….
Hanataro: What?
Rose: The bodies of my brother and mother.
Hanataro: I’ll be right over.
A FEW MINUTES LATER
Hanataro runs into the kitchen where Rose is.
Hanataro sees Rose holding one of her brother’s hands and one of her mother’s hands.
Hanataro: The blood’s fresh.
Rose: What am I going to do?
Hanataro: We’re going to have to do some investigation of our own. For now though, I can just get a disposable phone and call the police on it. Then I can destroy the phone.
Rose: They’re all dead. And it’s all my fault.
Hanataro: Don’t say that, Rose. That’s not true.
Rose stands up and cuts him off angrily.
Rose: YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT’S TRUE!!!!! YOU ACT SO NICE TO ME, BUT IF YOU KNEW THE TRUTH YOU WOULD NEVER HAVE EVEN THOUGHT OF WANTING TO BE MY FRIEND. LET ALONE KISSING ME!!!!!
Hanataro: Calm down Rose.
Rose: NO! YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN. YOU ACT SO COOL, BUT INSIDE YOU’RE JUST SOME IDIOT WHO’S PROBABLY KILLED THOUSANDS!!! THEN YOU ACT SO CALM WHEN YOU SEE TWO DEAD PEOPLE!!!! WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU??? DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY FEELINGS AT ALL????
Hanataro takes a step back and sighs.
Hanataro: I’m going to call the police at 7:00. You should get out of here before then. Make sure to remove any handprints, and if possible try to mess things up to make it look more suspicious.
Rose ignores him and goes on gripping their hands.
Hanataro turns and leaves.
AT 6:30
Rose: Mom, Brother. I love you both. I’ll figure out who did this. I promise. I will avenge you.
Rose takes a paper towel and cleans the places she touched.
Rose sighs and changes her clothes.
Rose jumps out the window as the police pull up in the driveway.
Rose adjusts the bag on her shoulder and runs out of view.
Rose lets herself cry.
Rose calls a taxi.
She gets in.
Driver: Where to?
Rose: To the East side of town, at the city limits.
The driver nods and starts to drive.
A FEW MINUTES LATER
The driver pulls up beside a bridge as it starts to rain.
Rose: Thanks.
Rose throws a twenty dollar bill at the driver and runs towards the bridge.
The driver drives off quickly.
Rose runs to the end of the bridge.
Rose suddenly stops.
A pain rips through her.
Rose screams.
She falls to her knees and twitches lying on the cold stone of the bridge, inches from the city limit.
Rose looks up and sees a figure floating above her.
The figure is a girl, and she is laughing.
The girl holds her hand out, the palm facing Rose.
Rose: Who… are … you?
Girl: A murderer. A very important woman. Your enemy. The one you hate. The one that killed what little family you have left.
Rose’s eyes widen.
Rose: You…
Girl: My daddy and your daddy are the same person. We’re kind of sisters. Whoops. Mommy left out a little secret didn’t she? Poor mommy paid the price for that. Now, you will pay too!
Rose opens her mouth to scream but no sound comes out.
Black dots fill Rose’s vision and she slowly drifts out of consciousness.
ROSE’S DREAM
Rose is lying on a cloud staring into the infinite blue sky peacefully.
She closes her eyes and when she opens them, she finds Hanataro beside her.
Rose: Get away from me!
Rose scoots away from Hanataro.
Hanataro: This is just a dream Rose.
Rose: I don’t care! I hate you!
Hanataro: I love you.
Rose feels like her heart has melted and she stands.
He stands behind her.
Hanataro: Rose, I really do. I love you and I hate it when you are mad at me!
Rose: You’ve barely known me for two weeks!
Hanataro: It doesn’t take long to fall under your charms Rose.
Rose gives up and falls backwards.
Hanataro catches her.
Suddenly the girl appears, pointing a sword at Rose.
Girl: Death is upon you, and you will know it when you wake up Rose! I know you’d like to spend your entire life in this dream, and you will if you don’t wake up soon and fight me!
Rose: What?
The girl disappears.
Rose remembers what happened before she lost consciousness.
Rose: Goodbye Hanataro!
Hanataro: See you soon, my love.
Rose: Maybe.

Episode 7

Rose wakes up in a dark room.
She can’t see anything.
Rose: (thinks) Where am I?
A light turns on and Rose sees the girl.
Rose: You!
Girl: Yes, Rose! Its me!
Rose: NO! I don’t want your cooking!!!!
Girl: Huh?
Rose: You’re Martha Stewart! I hate you!!
The girl slaps her forehead.
She rolls her eyes.
Girl: Okay… the drugs haven’t worn off yet…. So lets have a little makeover!
She goes to a cabinet.
She goes through the bottles in it, and finally picks one.
She walks over to Rose.
Rose: (thinks) I wonder if I dropped the “drugged” act and escaped, she would be surprised.
Rose reads the label on the bottle.
It reads: Colloidal silver.
Girl: I hope blue’s your favorite color.
Rose: Blue? Wait, Colloidal Silver! I heard that if you overdose, your skin turns blue!
The Girl laughs evilly.
There is a pounding at the door.
Girl: Miranda! I told you to leave us alone!
The door breaks down and a squad of armored Bloody Alyss soldiers run in with guns.
Rangiku walks in quickly.
Rangiku: Surrender, and give the girl to us!
The Girl hesitates.
Girl: Fine! Take her! I’m done for now. But, I will never surrender, fools!
She disappears, but before she does, she holds a white rag to Rose’s face.
Rose inhales and feels a blade go through her stomach.
She passes out.
LATER
Rose wakes up in a white room.
Rose: (thinks) Huh? Where am I?
She remembers what happened, and glances around the room.
She is in a hospital room.
Hanataro is in a chair across the room, reading a book and chewing his lip.
Rose: H-Hanataro…
Hanataro stands up, dropping his book and runs over to where she is.
Hanataro: Rose! Are you feeling alright? Are you still mad at me?
Rose: I’m a little sore. No, I’m not mad at you anymore! Hanataro, I’m really sorry for being so mad! I-I just didn’t know…
Hanataro: Rose, you were in shock. Don’t blame yourself, I understand.
Rose reaches up and wraps her arms around his neck.
Rose: I love you. I’m sorry.
Hanataro kisses her forehead and sits on the bed beside her legs.
Rose: Who was she? The person that took me?
Hanataro: Oh, her. She’s Misaki, leader of the dark horde.
Rose:…and…and Misaki? Is she really my sister?
Hanataro’s face hardens and he hesitates.
Hanataro: Rangiku wanted to speak with you about that.
Hanataro reaches beside Rose’s head and presses the nurse button.
Hanataro: You need to get shots, medicine and other things first though.
He smiles.
Hanataro: I’ll be back shortly.
Hanataro grabs his book from the floor and trots out the door.
A few minutes later a nurse comes in and gives Rose sets of various shots and medicines.
Nurse: You are free to walk around now, but Miss Rangiku is on her way to your room now.
Rangiku walks in the door.
The nurse bows and trudges out the door.
Rangiku: I see that Hanataro has explained a little to you about Misaki.
Rose nods.
Rangiku: You see, she said she’s your sister…
Rose: Yeah. Is she really?
Rangiku: Here, it’d be better to show you then tell you.
She walks over and places her hands on Rose’s head.
Rose is suddenly in a vision.
VISION
Rangiku is laying in a hospital bed.
A man is standing by her side, holding her hand.
Rangiku goes into labor, and has a child.
The baby has long black hair and doesn’t cry when she comes out.
Her eyes are shut.
The doctor smacks the baby’s butt to make it cry.
The baby’s eyes snap open.
The eyes are a dangerous blue color.
The doctor smacking her suddenly collapses into the floor.
Blood flows from his head.
The baby smiles and disappears.
Rangiku: Misaki!!
The man holding her hand closes his eyes and lets go of her hand.
Man: I knew that when you cheated on me, and some damn child that came out of it, would be evil.
Rangiku: Wait!
The man turns and walks out of the room.
Rangiku starts to cry as hot, steamy tears fall down into her lap.
REAL LIFE
Rangiku jerks back her hand before Rose can see anymore of the vision.
Rose opens her eyes and glances up at Rangiku.
Rose: So she isn’t my sister then. Okay. I see that she truly is evil… and I understand your story more now though.
Rangiku looks down at the floor and sighs.
Rangiku looks back up at Rose and takes a deep breath.
Rangiku: Rose, I should tell you now and get it over with.
Rose: Okay…
Rangiku: Rose, I’m your real mother and she’s your real sister.
Rose stares at her.
Rose lays down on her back.
She stares at the celing.
Rose can’t say anything.
She stares until her eyes hurt and she finally blinks.
Rangiku: Rose, are you okay?
Rose: (whispers) Go away.
Rangiku: What?
Rose: GO AWAY!
Rangiku takes a step back.
Rose: Leave me alone, bitch. I want to be alone…
Rangiku: Okay dear.
Rose: DON’T CALL ME THAT!
Rangiku walks out of the room, softly shutting the door behind her.
Rose curls up into a little ball crying, not caring that she ripped some needles out of her arm.

Episode 8

Rose adjusts the bag on her shoulder as she waits outside the Bloody Alyss Hospital.
Rose remembers her talk with Rangiku yesterday.
Rose closes her eyes and sits down on the bench behind her.
She sets the bag down as a breeze rolls towards her.
She inhales deeply and she smells blood faintly.
Something clicks inside of her and her eyes flutter open.
Across the parking lot, a little boy is kneeling and holding his left knee while crying.
Rose gets up and runs across the parking lot to where he is kneeling.
Rose: Hey! Are you okay little boy?
The boy flinches away from her with his eyes squeezed shut.
Rose touches his hand and suddenly the boy has her pinned to the ground.
The boy opens his eyes and Rose notices they are red, like a vampire’s.
Rose grabs the boy and flings him off of her.
The boy laughs creepily and his eyes roll back in his head.
A black car zooms into the hospital parking lot.
A boy with red hair jumps out of the car and runs towards her.
The little boy screeches and runs off.
The boy with red hair reaches Rose.
Boy: Are you okay Miss Myers?
Rose: Yes.
The boy helps her to her feet.
Rose: How do you know my name?
Boy: I’m your personal bodyguard now. Actually you have two. The other is back at H-Q.
Rose: Oh…Okay…What’s your name?
Boy: My name is Daisuke!
Rose: Nice to meet you Daisuke!
Rose smiles at Daisuke and he smiles back at her.
Daisuke gently grabs her arm and leads her back to the black car.
He opens the door for her and she gets in.
Daisuke jumps in the front seat and starts the car up.
Rose: Wait! My bags!
Daisuke: I already got them.
Rose: That was quick…
Daisuke: Well, I have my abilities…
He looks at Rose and winks.
Rose laughs.
Rose: I guess we all do!
Daisuke smiles and drives off.
LATER AT TRAINING BUILDING
Daisuke grabs her bags and opens the door for her.
Daisuke: Well, um…. Shall I escort you to your room?
Rose: Sure. Thank You again for everything you’ve done for me!
Daisuke: It’s my job!
Daisuke takes Rose to her room, where Hanataro isn’t there.
He puts her bags down in there.
They stand there awkwardly for a minute.
Daisuke: Umm… well… I should go…
Rose: Okay…thank you again for your help.
Daisuke nods.
Daisuke starts to walk out the door.
Daisuke: Oh! And tonight Rangiku is holding a party, I’ll introduce you to your other guard there! Don’t worry, she’s pretty cool too!
Rose thanks him and he leaves.
Rose falls back onto her bed.
Rose: Uh.
Hanataro comes in the door.
He looks beaten up and tired.
Rose: Hanataro! What happened? Are you okay?
Hanataro: Yeah! I’m fine! When did you get back?
Rose: Just now.
He nods and sits down on the bed beside her.
Rose notices he has blood running down his arm.
Rose: Ah! Hanataro! You’re bleeding!
Hanataro: Huh? I am?
Rose lifts up the sleeve on his shirt and finds a large cut on his shoulder.
Rose: How did you get that?
Hanataro: Well…training I guess.
Rose studies his face.
Rose: (thinks) He’s lying. I wonder what he really did…
Rose treats the wound by putting disinfectant salve on it and a bandage too.
Rose: You might not want to put much pressure on this arm until it heals.
Hanataro: Yes. Thank you Dr. Myers.
Rose blushes.
Rose: Please, stop. I’m not a doctor!
Hanataro: I want to know, where do you get all this from.
Rose lays down on the bed.
Rose: Well, when I lived in America, my mom was a nurse.
Hanataro lays down beside her.
Hanataro: America…is it really free?
Rose: Well, yeah. No slavery, no hard forced labor, minimum wage. Its OK.
Hanataro: OK? That sounds great.
Rose: Well, Japan has a lot of what Americans have too.
Hanataro: Yeah I guess. Because of the global humanity laws, I guess it would be pretty OK.
Rose: Yeah.
Hanataro rolls over to face Rose.
Hanataro: Which do you like better? Japan or America?
Rose scoots closer to him.
Rose: Here’s my answer.
Rose kisses him on the lips.
Hanataro pulls away slowly.
He looks away from her gaze.
Rose: What’s the matter?
Hanataro looks back into her eyes with a hurt look.
Hanataro: Well….never mind.
Rose: What?
Hanataro: …its nothing.
Rose looks away.
Rose: Okay…
Rose gets up off the bed.
Rose: I’m going to take my shower.
Hanataro: …OK.

Episode 9

Rose steps out of the shower.
She changes into pajamas.
When she comes out of the bathroom, she doesn’t see Hanataro.
Rose: Hanataro? Where did you go?
Suddenly someone is holding her back from behind.
Rose lets out a scream, and a cold, pale hand clamps over her mouth.
Voice: (boy): I’m Sorry, Rose…
Rose hears a snipping sound and hears something light falling to the ground.
Her head feels lighter.
Rose: (thinks) No…my hair…not my hair!
Rose pulls her foot up to her chest and kicks the person behind her as hard as she can.
She spins around, with her hands flailed out.
She sees who it is.
Rose: Hanataro?
Hanataro looks at her with hurt in his eyes.
Hanataro: Rose….
Rose: How could you? Why?
Hanataro looks past her and nods.
Suddenly a hand covers her mouth.
It holds a white rag smeared with alcohol.
The alcohol causes her to pass out.
Rose wakes up in a dark room.
Suddenly a light is switched on and Rose squeezes her eyes shut.
She opens her eyes and realizes the room is white.
Rose wriggles around and finds that she is tied up.
She tilts her head downwards.
Rose hears the clicking sound of high heels coming across the floor towards her.
She looks up and sees Rangiku in a black dress and heels coming towards her.
Rangiku: I know you’re confused and such, so you’re still tied up so that I can explain this to you, without you getting aggravated. You see, your sister, she infiltrated the HQ last night so I gave Hanataro orders to change your appearance. He needed help so I also sent in one of your bodyguards to help. So all they did was dye your hair and cut it. We’re also going to have to do some other slight renovations before we can let you go, then you will return to your hometown. The only thing is, because of your….umm…”mother’s” death you can not return to your own house. So you are going to be living with Hanataro. As a member of Bloody Alyss you will be posted to your town along with Hanataro, Daisuke, and Denya to watch the town and keep it from filling with monsters…well other than ourselves of course.
Rose nods.
Rose: By the way, who is Denya?
Rangiku: She’s your other bodyguard.
Rose: By the way, I’m not mad. If I had known that my sister was infiltrating the HQ…if someone had explained it to me….you wouldn’t have had to go through all this trouble. I’m not mad and if someone explained it to me, I would’ve done it willingly.
Rangiku looks into a corner of the room where a camera is there.
Rangiku: (shouts) HA! TOLD YOU SO!
Rangiku goes behind Rose and unties her.
Rose stands up.
Rose: What else do you have to do to me?
Rangiku: Hmmmm... let me see….. follow me.
Rose follows Rangiku out of the room.
Rangiku goes into the hallway.
She clicks down the hallway and when she reaches the end of the hallway she opens the door to the room.
They go inside.
Rangiku: This is MY room.
Rose looks around.
The room is decorated nicely with modern furniture.
Rangiku goes over to a vanity and opens the drawer.
She pulls two small things out.
Rangiku comes over to Rose.
Rangiku: Stuff these in your bra.
Rose: What?
Rose takes a closer look at the things.
They are silicon implants.
Rose slaps her forehead.
Rangiku: What? I’m sorry dear, but you have no boobs! Seriously though, I have no idea where you got that from ‘cause your momma defiantly has some big ones!
Rangiku bounces her breasts with her hands.
Rose squeezes her eyes shut.
Rose: Okay, Okay I get the point!
Rose stuffs the implants into her bra.
She turns around so Rangiku can see her.
Rangiku gives her a thumbs up.
Rose looks in the mirror on the vanity.
Her hair is short and blonde.
Rose: My…My hair….
Rangiku: The problem with vampires is that their hair grows out quickly… within 24 hours you hair should be back to its normal length. And give your hair about another 24 hours and it should be back to its regular color.
Rose nods.
10 MINUTES LATER
Rose is back in her room.
Hanataro is with her.
Rose is packing a suitcase with the little belongings she has.
Rose goes into a closet and changes into a short sleeved white T-shirt, a black mini skirt, and black knee-high converse.
She comes out and Hanataro smiles at her.
He pats a place next to him on the bed.
She sits next to him.
He kisses her forehead.
Hanataro runs a hand through his hair messing it up more than it was already.
Rose lays her head on his chest and he strokes the back of her head.
Rose: I love you, Hanataro…
A tear drips onto his shirt.
He pulls her back so he can see her face.
He pulls her towards him and kisses her.
Hanataro: Rose, I will always love you. There’s nothing that could make me change that. Even if you treated me like you treat that idiot, Ichikon… I will always feel the same about you, Rose.
Rose lets another tear slide down her face.
Hanataro wipes it away with his thumb.
Hanataro: It’ll be alright. We’re in this…together.
Rose nods.
Rose: Together.
Rose re-buries herself in his chest.

Episode 10

THE NEXT DAY
Daisuke opens the door for her in a black car, outside Hanataro’s mansion.
Rose steps out.
She looks to her left and sees a shape coming fast towards her.
Rose: Oh crap…
Daisuke turns to look as it hits Rose, pinning her to the ground.
It’s Ichikon.
Ichikon: I MISSED YOU SO MUCH, ROSE MY LOVE…. I WANT –
Ichikon was cut off by Daisuke who tackled him and knocked him out on the jaw.
Rose: Thanks, but he’s not trying to kill me or anything.
Daisuke: Do you know this guy?
Rose: Sadly, yes… he’s a stalker that thinks he’s my boyfriend….speaking of…
Hanataro walks outside and grabs Rose’s hand.
Hanataro: I’m glad you’re finally here.
Rose: Yeah, me too!
Hanataro: Before I show you around, I want to introduce you to Denya.
A girl with short, uneven hair in a black jumpsuit comes out of the front door.
She bows in front of Rose.
Denya: Miss Rose…My name is Denya, at your service and disposal.
Rose: I’m pleasured to meet you, Denya.
Daisuke: Denya doesn’t like it when you tease her, but I do it anyways, Rose.
Denya grabs Daisuke’s arm and twists it up behind his back.
Denya: Baka! Why would you be that casual to Miss Myers!!! Even if she was just a normal vampire to protect! She’s Rangiku Kiryu’s daughter for goddess’s sake!
Rose: (thinks) Goddess? Never mind I’ll ask Hanataro later.
Rose: Its okay! No really, I told him not to be formal with me. It bothers me a little.
Denya: Oh sorry Miss Myers!
Denya lets go of Daisuke.
Rose: Please call me Rose.
Denya: Yes miss….uh Rose.
Rose smiles and thanks her.
Hanataro: Lets go inside.
Rose: Okay.
They all go inside, leaving Ichikon outside.
MEANWHILE ABOVE THE MANSION
A girl in a black dress sits down on a cloud.
The cloud turns black.
Girl: What did you want Misaki?
Misaki jumps down and lands on the cloud.
Misaki: Just a little revenge on someone important.
Girl: And she’s directly below in the mansion.
Misaki: Yes, but remember what I said.
Girl: Hmm? What did you say?
Misaki: Kill the boy, and bring the girl to me.
The girl nods obediently.
Girl: Of course queen.
Misaki: Good, and hurry!
The girl stands.
Girl: Ryuk! Come!
A black shape forms beside her.
Girl: Become my weapon.
The shape forms into a black scythe.
The girl unzips the back of her sundress revealing black wings that unfold, allowing her to jump off from the cloud.
She sees the mansion.
Girl: Time to get dirty, Ryuk!

Episode 11

Rose looks out the window of Hanataro’s mansion as snow flutters down peacefully on the thick blanket of snow that was already there.
Rose: (thinks) it’s so peaceful.
Rose smiles.
She watches as Daisuke and Denya go outside.
Denya turns and looks to her right.
Daisuke makes a snowball and throws it at Denya.
It hits Denya in the back.
Denya shudders violently and turns around, angry.
Denya starts to yell at Daisuke as Rose feels it.
Rose turns around and sees a little girl standing behind her in a black sundress.
Rose: Who are you?
The little girl smiles.
She closes her eyes as if about to say something big.
When she opens her eyes, the little girl’s eyes have gone from a cornflower blue to blood red.
Girl: Names aren’t important, but I’m the one who’s going to kidnap you!
The little girl giggles.
Rose smiles back.
Rose: Okay, sure but why are you kidnapping me.
The girl’s smile fades.
Girl: I probably shouldn’t say this, but I’m kidnapping you for Queen Misaki.
Rose: Misaki it is then…humph I guess she was either too lazy to get me herself or too afraid!
The girl tightens her fists and her face gets red.
Girl: THAT’S NOT TRUE! HOW DARE YOU TALK ABOUT YOUR QUEEN THAT WAY!!!!!
Rose: Whoa….calm down please. She’s not my queen, she’s my sister.
Girl: Oh! I’m very sorry for being unkind to you!
The girl bows.
A black, misty figure appears to her right.
Girl: Ah Ryuk! It’s about time; I was getting pretty tired of sucking useless information out of this girl.
Ryuk: (whisper) Kill….Kill…Death…NOW!
Girl: Settle down! Ryuk we had specific orders not to kill her.
Ryuk: (whisper) But we kill the boy….
Girl: Yes…
Rose: The boy…Wait! HANATARO!!!
Girl: SHHHHHH!
Rose: HANATARO! RUN! NOW THEY’RE GOING TO KILL YOU!!!! DON’T COME IN HERE JUST RUN!
Hanataro comes running from another room.
Rose: You idiot! Do you have to do the opposite of whatever I say?
Hanataro: Yes! Rose, I love you and I’ll save you, even if it means breaking your heart!
The girl rolls her eyes.
Ryuk: (whisper) Now, Sanae! NOW!
Girl (Sanae): Fine, Ryuk!
Ryuk turns into a scythe and Sanae turns to face Hanataro, knocking Rose into the window.
Blood seeps from Rose’s mouth.
Rose looks outside to where Daisuke and Denya have stopped a furious snowball fight and are looking up at Rose.
Rose mouths the word “HELP”
Daisuke and Denya exchange a look and start running towards the house.
Rose looks back to where Sanae is cornering a brave Hanataro into a corner.
Sanae: Any last words fool?
Hanataro: Yes actually. I would like to tell you to turn around.
Sanae: Like I would fall for that one!
Hanataro: Well, your fault then.
Daisuke smashes his foot into Sanae’s head.
Sanae sinks to the floor.
Daisuke: Well that was-
Sanae jumps back up, still conscious.
Sanae grabs Daisuke’s foot which is still on her shoulder.
Daisuke: Oh crap…
Denya rushes into the room with a blade outstretched and leaps onto Sanae’s back.
Sanae twists Daisuke’s leg until you hear a snap.
Denya ferociously brings the blade down on Sanae’s shoulder, slicing off her arm.
Sanae screams in fury and disappears, along with her arm and the scythe.
Denya falls to the floor in a defensive position, one leg outstretched to her left.
Daisuke: Stupid….bitch….my leg….
Denya: Rose, I believe this is your category.
Rose is just standing there, mouth wide open.
Denya turns to Rose.
Denya: Rose? Can you take care of this?
Rose shakes her head, clearing her thoughts.
Rose: Of course.
Rose rushes to Daisuke’s side and takes a look at his broken leg.
Rose: Hanataro, can you help me carry him to his room?
There is no answer, so Rose looks up.
Rose: Hanataro? HANATARO!!!!
Denya: They’ve taken him.
Rose’s eyes fill up with tears.
Rose: No…They’ll kill him.
Denya: Rose, we need to take care of Daisuke now, and then later we can worry about Hanataro.
Rose sniffs.
Rose: You’re right, will you help me carry him to his room then, since Hanataro can’t.
Denya: Of course.
Rose grabs his shoulders and Denya grabs his feet.
Daisuke: OUCH! Fuck Denya do you have to be so rough on my leg?
Denya: (sarcastic) Sorry…

Episode 12

Rose gently knocks on Daisuke’s door.
Daisuke: Huh? Come in…
Rose opens the door to find Daisuke looking quite ridiculous with his leg in a pink cast (that Denya picked out) and no shirt on.
Rose forces back a giggle and walks up to him with a small smile on her face.
Daisuke: Uh! I know, I look retarded!
Rose: It’s not that…
Daisuke: Then what is it?
Denya walks in.
She looks at Daisuke and laughs.
Denya: You look so ridiculous!!!!
Daisuke: Shut up!
Denya settles down.
Denya: Oh…wow….I’m sorry I’m done now! But you just look so funny!
Daisuke mumbles under his breath.
Rose: Okay, settle down Daisuke. Lets check on your leg.
A door slams open downstairs and Denya jumps into a defensive position, pulling a blade out of her knee high boots.
Voice: (Boy) ROSE? ARE YOU HERE? ROSE, MY LOVE?
It’s Ichikon again.
Denya: (whispers) The idiot?
Rose: (whispers) Yes, don’t kill him please but just get him away from the house. He’s gonna kill himself if he doesn’t stop stalking me!
Denya: Okay, Rose. I’m on it.
Denya soundlessly disappears downstairs.
Ichikon yelps and then theres silence.
Denya: (yells) He’s fixed now!
Rose: Thanks!
Rose hears Denya dragging Ichikon out the door.
Daisuke: (weak yell) YO DENYA! PICK UP SOME MILK WHILE YOU’RE OUT!
Denya: UNLIKELY!
Daisuke sighs.
Rose: Okay, how does your leg feel?
Daisuke: (sarcastic) It tickles!
Rose: I mean it, Daisuke. How does it feel?
Daisuke: It feels better. I’m sorry, Denya put me in a bad mood. After you put this cast on she decided to scream at me for being so stupid for about an hour.
Rose: When I went to the store?
Daisuke: Yeah. When should I be able to walk again?
Rose: I don’t really know how fast vampires heal but just guessing tommorrw…with a limp.
Daisuke smiles.
Daisuke: With a limp?
Rose laughs.
Rose: Yeah.
MEANWHILE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF JAPAN
Misaki: YOU IDIOT!
Sanae cringes, her left arm stitched on, wiggling about.
Misaki: HOW IN THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN??
Sanae: My queen, the girl had back-up. I managed to break one’s leg but I was caught off-guard.
Misaki groans as she sits down on her black, stone throne, making a thump that echoed off of the walls around her.
Misaki: Did you at least take care of the boy?
Sanae: I didn’t kill him.
Misaki sucks in a huge breath to start ranting again.
Sanae: But I captured him, he’s unconscious.
Misaki lets her breath out and smiles.
She stands and walks down the steps leading to her throne.
Sanae cringes, head down and her eyes not meeting Misaki’s.
Misaki laughs and pats Sanae’s head.
Misaki: Well, you’re not too dumb after all.
Sanae smiles, confident again.
Misaki: We can squeeze some answers out of him, and of course if he refuses….
Misaki and Sanae smile.
Sanae: I love your plan my queen, but I have a suggestion of my own.
Misaki: And what is that?
Sanae stands on the tips of her toes and whispers something in Misaki’s ear.
Misaki smiles evilly.
BACK AT THE MANSION
Denya walks back in with a few paper bags.
Daisuke is sitting propped up on the couch with his arms crossed across his chest.
Denya: What? Why are you looking at me like that?
Daisuke: Did you get milk?
Denya: Soy milk!
Denya holds up a carton of soy milk.
Daisuke: Denya, we have to talk.
Denya sits in a chair across from him.
Denya: About what?
Daisuke: About how you act towards me.
Denya’s cheeks turn pink.
Denya: Well…
Daisuke: No, let me talk first. I’m sick and tired of this! You act like this …and…and… it gets on my nerves!
Denya: I didn’t know that’s what you thought of me…
Daisuke: Well it is!
Denya: Well, if that’s how you feel, then don’t ask for my help anymore!
Daisuke: Fine! I have Rose anyways!
Denya stares at him for a moment, then runs off to her room.
Denya: (thinks) I thought he loved me…why?
She throws a pillow across the room.
Denya: (out loud) Because I’m an idiot, that’s why!
DOWNSTAIRS
Daisuke: (thinks) I thought she’d understand that I don’t like that mean way she treats me in…why?
Daisuke clenches his fists.
Daisuke: Because I’m an idiot!

Episode 13

Rose walks downstairs.
She hears the TV and walks towards the living room.
A rock flies and hits her in the head.
Rose: Ah!
She falls over.
Daisuke: Crap! Are you okay, Rose?
Rose: Yeah, I’m quite alright…
She stands up and picks up the rock.
She walks over to where Daisuke is and gives him his rock back.
Rose: Just asking, why did you throw a rock at me?

Daisuke: I thought you were Denya…
Rose: Oh… that explains a lot actually.
Daisuke: Yeah…by the way, Rangiku called.
Rose: Oh, did she find out something about Hanataro?
Daisuke: Yeah, she said she is supposed to be at a certain place at a certain time on Wednesday and she wants you to come with her.
Rose: What are you talking about?
Daisuke: Misaki wants to make a deal with you.
Rose: I see… well that means we’re free tomorrow…
Daisuke: Yeah. My leg feels better.
Rose: Okay, let me see if I can take off your cast, your leg should be healed by now.
Daisuke: Okay.
She takes off Daisuke’s cast.
Daisuke stands.
Daisuke: No pain at all! You are a wonder Rose!
Rose smiles and he catches her eye.
They stare into each other’s eyes for a moment.
Rose looks away.
Rose: I wanted to know, would you like to go to the town with me tomorrow?
Daisuke: What? The town? Why?
Rose: I don’t know… I want to spend some time with you, really I don’t know you well.
Rose smiles.
Daisuke: Of course!
Rose: Yay! Thanks!
Daisuke smiles.
Daisuke: (thinks) But its not you I love….
Rose: (thinks) Check 1-Complete!

Episode 14

Rose goes to Denya’s room and knocks.
Denya: Daisuke! Go away!
Rose: It’s me, Rose. I want to talk to you!
Denya cracks open the door and peers out at Rose.
Denya: okay.
She opens the door further.
Rose walks in.
Things are broken, scattered and torn throughout her room.
Rose turns a chair right-side-up and sits on it.
Denya sits on the bed.
Rose: I know you’re upset over Daisuke and all but, I wanted to know if you want to go with me on a girl’s day out tomorrow.
Denya looks at her.
Denya: Where to?
Rose: Oh I don’t know. How about the town?
Denya: Okay, sure. Wait! Where will Daisuke be?
Rose: Oh, he has to go out tomorrow…I don’t know why but that’s his business.
Denya smiles.
Denya: Okay, defiantly!
Rose: Good, I’ll meet you there. I have a few errands to run first though.
Denya: Ok, tomorrow then!
Denya smiles and Rose returns the smile.
THE NEXT DAY
Daisuke walks out the door and gets in a car.
Rose: I’m leaving now! I’ll see you in a few, Denya.
Denya: Okay!
Rose gets in the car and they drive off.
LATE R AT THE TOWN
Rose sees Denya.
Rose: Hey Daisuke, can you meet me over at that restaurant in ten minutes?
She points to a restaurant.
Daisuke: Sure, where are you going?
Rose: I have to pick up something at a shop but I want you to get our reserved seat before they resell it.
Daisuke: Sure!
Daisuke goes to the restaurant.
Rose goes to Denya.
Denya: Oh hey Rose!
Rose: hey Denya! I have to pick up a package first, but I want you to go to that restaurant and say you’re in the Myers party.
Denya: Got it! See ya in a minute!
Denya runs off.
Rose: Now for my disguise.
She runs into a bathroom, and when she comes out she is wearing a pink dress and a blonde wig with too much make-up.
Rose: Okay! Here I go!
Rose goes to the restaurant.
Host: Hello madam. How are you today?
Rose: I’m like totally hot!!!!
Rose tries to act preppy.
Host: Would you like to pick your seat?
Rose: Well duh!
Rose picks out a seat behind the one for the Myers party.
Daisuke is sitting at that table.
Daisuke: I wonder where she is?
The host comes back, leading Denya to the table.
Host: Your table miss…
Denya stares at Daisuke.
Daisuke stares back.
The host walks off.
Denya sits down.
Denya: (mumbles) Why Rose? Why?
Daisuke continues to stare.
Denya looks up expecting a glare but instead gets a sorrowful look.
Daisuke: I’m sorry, Denya. I shouldn’t have yelled at you like that.
Denya: No, it’s my fault. I was acting retarded anyways.
Daisuke: I think we both thought of things differently when we said them.
Denya: Yeah, I think so too.
Daisuke: I was talking about how you would yell at me even though I tried to be helpful.
Denya: Oh.
Daisuke: Was that what you thought.
Denya: Maybe…well...no.
Daisuke: What were you thinking then?
Denya looks at her lap.
Daisuke: Denya?
She looks up.
Denya: Yes?
Daisuke: Do you love me?
Denya: Uh…umm...a-a-a...well…
Daisuke notices Rose staring.
Rose looks away fast.
Daisuke: Nice job, Rose.
Rose sighs and takes off her wig.
Rose: Thanks Daisuke. I’ll leave you guys alone now.
Denya turns around.
Denya: Wait! Rose!
Rose turns around.
Rose: Yeah?
Denya: Thanks!
Rose smiles.
Rose: It’s what I do.
She leaves.

Episode 15

Rose puts on a black kimono and ties her hair up into a bun.
Rose walks downstairs and sits on the couch.
Daisuke and Denya come downstairs, holding hands.
Daisuke looks at Rose.
Daisuke: You look pretty, Rose.
Rose smiles.
Rose: Thanks, but you should tell your girlfriend that.
Denya lets go of his hand.
Denya: G-girlfriend? I have no idea what you’re talking about!
Rose smiles wider.
Daisuke: Don’t hide it, you know you love Ichikon!
Denya’s smile disappears.
Denya: Ichikon?
Rose: The idiot that keeps on breaking in.
Denya punches Daisuke in the face.
Rose laughs.
There is a knock at the door.
Rose opens the door.
It’s Rangiku.
Rangiku: Are you ready to go, dear?
Rose nods.
Rose: Let’s just get this over with.
Rangiku leads Rose out to a black mustang.
Daisuke and Denya stop at the doorway to wave.
Daisuke: Good luck, Rose.
Rose turns around.
Rose: You’re not coming?
Daisuke: No, we’re not allowed.
Rangiku: You may come if you like-
Denya: No, we don’t want to come… we trust you Rose. You’re smart.
Rose smiles.
Rose: Thanks guys!
Daisuke and Denya smile back and Daisuke puts his arm around her shoulder.
Rose’s eyes widen and she has a flashback.
FLASHBACK
She is walking to school with her brother.
She turns around and sees her fake mom and dad waving, her dad’s arm around her mother’s shoulder.
BACK IN PRESENT
Rangiku shakes her.
Rangiku: Rose? Are you okay? Rose?
Rose: huh? Oh yeah… I’m fine.
They get into the car and drive away.
LATER AT A RENDZEVOUS LOCATION
Rose and Rangiku sit down at a table in a dark room.
Rangiku sucks in her breath as Misaki comes out.
Misaki: Welcome! Mother! Sister!
Rangiku: This isn’t a family reunuion. We are here to strike a deal.
Misaki: Yes, of course. Let’s get started then.
She sits down at the opposite end of the table in a black chair.
Misaki: Let me lay it out for you. I give you Hanataro, you give me Rose.
Rangiku stands up, slamming her hands on the table.
Rangiku: NO! THAT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE!
Misaki: I feel Rose has other thoughts.
Rangiku looks down at Rose.
Rose nods.
Rose: I accept.
Rangiku: No! You will not!
Misaki: I have a spare room if you’d like to talk this over.
Rose: I would appreciate that.
Misaki: Okay, its behind me.
Rose and Rangiku go into the room.
Misaki: You have two minutes.
TWO MINUTES LATER
Rose and Rangiku come out.
Rose: I accept.
Misaki smiles.
Misaki: Good!
She claps her hands twice, and two guards carry an unconscious Hanataro out of another room.
They throw Hanataro at Rangiku.
She catches him and pushes some hair out of his face.
Rose goes to Misaki.
Rose: I am yours now.
Misaki: Right you are!
Misaki laughs evily.
Hanataro wakes up.
He sees Rose beside Misaki.
Hanataro: ROSE! NO!
Hanataro jumps at Rose, but Rangiku holds him back.
Rangiku: Stop, Hanataro. The deal is made.
Hanataro: How can you do this to her?! She’s your only daughter!
Misaki raises an eyebrow.
Hanataro: I mean your only SANE daughter.
Rangiku: Destiny will kill me someday, but for now this is how it must be. Rose has a will of her own too.
Hanataro looks at Rose.
Rose looks at him with tear-filled eyes.
Rangiku: Lets go, Hanataro.
Rangiku leads a weakened Hanataro out of the room.
Misaki: That was a very brave thing you did. But sometimes, you shouldn’t be brave.
Rose: Do whatever you want to me… Torture me, Kill me… I don’t care, just don’t hurt my family.
Misaki: Your family? You mean your pathetic love-sick bodyguards, your weak boyfriend, delused mother, and dead fake mother, father, and brother?
Rose: If that’s what you want to call them, then yes. That’s my family.
Misaki laughs.
Misaki: I’m not going to hurt you. Actually I would like to talk to you later. Propose another deal.
Rose: Okay.
Misaki: For now though, I shall take you to your room.
Misaki leads her through a maze of tunnels and finally goes up a grand staircase, and down another hallway.
She opens a door at the end.
It is lavishly furnished.
Rose: (thinks) Oh my… this place is fit for a princess…
Misaki laughs.
Misaki: You like it don’t you? Well this is your new room. I hope you enjoy it. I shall call you down for lunch, and if you want, you may have tea with me.
Rose: Okay.
Misaki: By the way, anything in the closet is yours, and if you need anything such as food, water…blood…just ring that little bell on that table over there and someone will be here to assist you.
Rose: Okay.
Misaki: Why be so down? Don’t you like your living quarters?
Rose: You have me as prisoner! How in hell can I be happy?
Misaki: I’m sorry.
She looks away.
Rose walks inside the room and Misaki shuts the door.
She goes over to a vanity and tears the hair tie out of her hair, ruining her bun, and letting her hair cascade down around her shoulders.
She looks at her reflection in the mirror.
One of her eyes turn dark blue, and the other, blood red.
Rose blinks and her eyes go back to normal.
Rose: (thinks) What does it mean?
She sinks to the floor in a mixture of exhaustion, pain, and hopelessness.

Episode 16

Rose takes a shower and grudgingly changes into a red corset and black leggings with knee high boots from the giant closet her sister had given her.
There is a knock at the door.
Rose: Uh…come in?
A servant in a fancy suit walks in and bows.
Servant: Misaki is ready for lunch. Shall I escort you to the dining room?
Rose: Okay.
The servant bows again and leads Rose to a giant room with a long table and a chandelier above it.
Misaki is sitting at the end of the table.
The servant pulls out the chair next to Misaki for Rose and she sits down.
The servant bows and is dismissed.
Misaki: So Rose… I brought you here today, so I can discuss a little preposition for us.
Rose: Okay…
Misaki: Okay you see, I do actually like you but I need certain things from you. You are my sister, so in a certain way I’m bonded to you. And no matter how much I despise it, I will always be close to my little sister.
Rose: Little sister? But we’re twins Misaki.
Misaki: Yes but I came out first.
Rose slaps her forehead.
Rose: Okay whatever, just get to the point already.
Misaki laughs.
Misaki: You’re pushy. I like that. Okay, if you give me some of your blood I will let you be with the boy again.
Rose: You mean Hanataro?
Misaki: Yes, but the blood…
Rose: Are you going to let me go?
Misaki: No, he will be brought to you.
Rose: No. I’m not putting him in danger.
Misaki: Okay then. If you don’t give me your blood, he will die.
Rose: Okay then. Take my blood.
Misaki reaches toward Rose.
Rose: BUT I want Hanataro first.
Misaki sighs and withdraws her arms.
Misaki: Yes of course. Sure.
A servant brings out two bloody steaks and straws.
Misaki: Dig in.
Misaki puts a straw to her steak and starts to suck the blood and juices out.
Rose pushes the plate away.
Rose: No thanks I’m not hungry.
Misaki: What? Have you never tasted blood before?
Rose: Yes, I have but this is disgusting.
Misaki: Fine then. You are dismissed.
Rose stands up and leaves.
Misaki slides Rose’s steak over onto her plate.
Rose goes to her room and lays down on her bed.
She thinks about Hanataro and slowly drifts off to sleep.
LATER THAT NIGHT
There is a knock at her door.
Rose wakes up.
Rose: huh?
Misaki comes in.
Misaki: Are you ready to finish the deal?
Rose: Hanataro is here?
Misaki: Yes.
Rose: I won’t give you my blood unless you bring him in here with me.
Misaki: Fine. Bring him in.
A guard brings an unconscious Hanataro in.
The guard throws him on the bed.
Rose pulls her hair away from her neck.
Misaki drools and jumps on Rose.
Misaki: This will be quick, sister.
Misaki’s fangs eagerly pierce into Rose’s neck.
She slurps up Rose’s blood.
Once she is done, she bows and leaves, locking the door.
Hanataro wakes up.
Hanataro: Rose? Why is there blood on you?
He inhales.
Hanataro: It’s yours. What happened?
Rose explains.
Hanataro sighs.
Hanataro: I would’ve died for you Rose.
Rose: It’s not time for your death yet, Hanataro. I know it.
Hanataro kisses her forehead.
Hanataro: And that’s where you’re completely right, Rose.
Rose puts her head on his chest and falls asleep.
Hanataro leans back and falls asleep as well.
