Freilich war es ein ungewöhnlicher Ort – ein einfacher Hinterhof, mitten in der Stadt. Andere hätten sich vielleicht an irgend einer Raststätte getroffen, um möglichst nicht beobachtet zu werden, aber hier? Gut, uns machte das jetzt nicht viel aus, wir sind da ja flexibel, aber trotzdem. Außerdem stimmte etwas mit dem Typen nicht...die meisten Unterhändler wirken von ihrem Auftreten her reserviert, berechnend, kühl. Der hier nicht, der war vielmehr ziemlich nervös, als könnte er jeden Augenblick aufspringen und die Flucht ergreifen. Jedenfalls zeigte sich das an seiner hektischen Aussprache, seinem Zittern und dem Schweiß auf seiner Stirn. Vielleicht war dies auch sein erstes Mal.
