When, Who, Why
When is the world fair?
When is the world right?
Why do we always argue,
When no one’s ever right?
How can we change?
What do we have to do,
To make things right?
When people are in crisis,
Who’ll take action first?
Who’ll fight the monster,
Or get to the other side first?
Who’ll save a child,
Or someone who’s in distress?
Someone has to do the work.
Someone has to be tough.
If we want to change,
We’ll have to be the first,
To take the act.
To some people it won’t matter,
To others it will.
So who lay down there lies,
So their hearts can guide the way?
Who’ll be a hero?
Who can I depend on?
Who can I trust?
Is there someone out there,
Who’s willing to give up?
When will I ever know?
Will I ever learn?
Can I just forgive,
Or do I have to give up?
These are the times,
I need my friends the most.
When is the world fair?
When is the world right?
Why do we always argue,
When no one’s ever right?
Who can I depend on?
Who can I trust?
Someone Else’s Life
There’s this little girl reminding me,
I’m somebody’s hero.
There’s this little girl reminding me,
That what I do is right.
She told me how I made a change,
In her little life.
Now she’s telling me,
Ways you can change someone’s life
There’s a little boy,
Waiting for a life.
His kidney failed,
So he’s waiting for a donor.
Will you please help save his life?
There’s a little girl,
Waiting for a home.
She needs a warm bed,
And a place to call home.
There’s a baby boy,
All out on his own.
He’s waiting for those warm doors to open,
Cause his mother left him on the steps of that house.
There’s a life you can change,
In so many possible ways.
Sometimes I can’t help but wonder,
What I can do to help.
How can I make a change,
In someone else’s life?
Someone out in this world,
Needs your help,
More then you need your self.
There’s a little girl reminding me,
I’m someone’s hero.
There’s a little girl reminding me,
That what I do is right.
She told me how I made a change,
In her little life.
Now she’s telling me,
Ways you can change someone’s life.
Battle or War
In a battle or a war,
Someone always dies.
In a battle or a war,
Someone always gets left behind.
When we fight one another,
We all know it’s not right.
When there’s a battle or a war,
Somebody has to pay a price.
The person who pays the price,
Doesn’t always deserve to die.
What really happens when we fight each other,
We all have to pay the price.
Love ones go missing,
Sons and daughters die.
What’s the point in fighting,
If no one really survives.
Some of us don’t fight,
But we slowly star to die inside.
Watching those we love die,
Is a very painful sight.
You can’t ever really wash away the memory.
If we all want to survive,
We must not fight.
So lay down that gun,
And use your words,
Because we don’t need a blood shed tonight.
In a battle or a war,
Someone always dies.
In a battle or a war,
Someone gets left behind.
When we fight one another,
We all know it’s not right.
When there’s a battle or a war,
Someone has to pay a price.
Change
We can change our hearts,
Or we can change our lives.
We can change our ways,
If we believe in change.
We can change the world,
Or it can stay the same.
We can learn the word mercy,
Or we can give out grace.
We even can believe,
That we are someone important.
Just remember one thing,
Your important,
To somebody.
Make room for change,
Because there’s no way that people can’t change.
We can choose to stay small forever,
Like a potting seed.
Or we can magically grow into an Oak tree.
No matter how we change,
We can do what’s right,
For only you choose what you believe in,
So you must choose what’s right.
We all can join hands,
And make a big loop,
And work on changing the world together.
If we believe that we can change the world,
It can happen.
Step by step,
Change by change,
Only we know what’s right.
If we reach out to the stars,
Could we make a wish?
If we change,
Would everything be alright?
Could we work together,
Helping each other do what’s right?
I want so much to trust you,
So I can learn what change is about.
But I’ve built a wall,
That’s far too high to take down.
Is it too late for change?
Do I still have a choice?
Or although this confusion,
Have I lost my choice/
We can change our hearts,
Or we can change our lives.
We can change our ways,
If we believe in change.
We can change the world,
Or it can stay the same.
We can learn the word mercy,
Or give out grace.
Earth
This Earth of mine,
Won’t last to long,
If people only fight.
This Earth of mine,
Won’t last to long,
If people don’t do what’s right.
Every time I walk down the streets,
People are cussing,
People are lying,
And people are cheating,
And that’s not right.
We’re suppose to love each other,
Like sisters and brothers,
We shouldn’t fight with each other.
All we do,
Is cause sadness and war.
This Earth of mine,
Won’t last to long,
If we don’t change our ways.
Right now,
We’re hurting each other,
And that’s a big bummer,
Cause is there a point in standing,
Or even believing in each other,
If we’re not together?
This Earth of mine,
Isn’t just mine,
It also belongs to you.
Isn’t that a good enough reason to protect it?
This Earth of mine,
Won’t last to long,
If people only fight.
This Earth of mine,
Won’t last to long,
If people don’t do what’s right.
