All The Children Of The World

All the children of the world
should know what it feels like,
getting gifts under the tree
and waiting for Santa on Christmas night.

Some are not so fortunate

to be filled with joy, such as this,
instead of being happy
their hearts are filled with something missed.

You might think
that all they need, is love in their hearts,
but try being in their shoes for one day
you'll know what it's like to have your life ripped apart.

I feel for those children, that don't get to have anything under their Christmas tree.

As The Petals Fall (Prose)

As the petals fall
from the dying rose,
they softly float to the earth
to be wrapped
in Winter's cold blanket....
once again.

Baby In A Manger

A baby in a manger
was born under the bright star,
loved by all
travelers visited from afar.

Born to two loving parents
'twas the son of God,
a miracle had happened
a babe born without flaws.

An innocence, that will forever be remembered
a baby in a manger born,
later to have His life taken
so He could be reborn.

You're Sly Mr. Grinch

Mr. Grinch is a thief
he breaks into houses and steals presents,
I would like to see him get caught
and be taught a valuable lesson.

He might think he's smart
when it's this time of year,

Santa threw him out of his house
right by his pointy ears.

Oh yes, Mr. Grinch
you'll get what's coming to you,
maybe a lump of coal in your stocking
and a big boot to your rear end too.

Winter's Moonlight (Reversed Dixdeux Chain)

The light
from the Winter's moon, shines upon the Earth
the tree's shadows, are cast upon the snow.

Most nights
bitterly cold winds, blow so violently
the tree's shadows, are cast upon the snow.

Light shines
at night, when clouds are nowhere to be seen
the tree's shadows, are cast upon the snow.

Winter's Kiss (Haiku)

Winds of change do blow

I was touched by Winter's kiss
in frosty night's air.

Think Of Them This Christmas

When you're out
shopping through the stores,

think of them this Christmas
those whom are poor.

When you're sitting down
eating your turkey dinner,
think of them this Christmas
those whom are a little thinner.

When you're opening your presents
spending time with friends and family,
think of them this Christmas
whom don't have any.

Think of them this Christmas
and every year there after,
those whom have nothing at all
and have no need for laughter.

I would rather give my gifts to ones that deserve them the most.

The True Meaning Of Christmas

It's not the cookies
nor the cakes,
it's not the pies
that mama bakes.

It's not the potatoes
nor the stuffing,

it's not the turkey
I'm not bluffing.

It's not the Christmas tree
nor the decorations,
it's not about the pretty lights
or the amount of presents.

The true meaning of Christmas
lives within every one of us,
it's our spirit of giving
and providing warmth for the homeless.

The Elves Have Escaped

The elves have escaped
from Santa's workshop,
getting tired of working so hard
with no time off.

Santa's very upset
it's two days before Christmas,

the elves ripped up
the naughty and nice lists.

What will Santa do now
without any elves?
it will take him a year of more
to make toys by himself.

He has an idea
the reindeer can help,
nah, maybe not
he's getting tired, of hearing them yelp.

Maybe the Grinch
can give him a hand,
that's a bad idea too
he'd steal the toys, whenever he can.

The elves have escaped
I guess, there won't be a Christmas this year,
Santa sits in his lazy boy chair
and cracks open a frosty beer.

The Christmas Tree (Ethere)

The
tree sits
tall and straight
nicely done up
in bulbs and small beads
golden icicles hang there
five tiny porcelain Angels
with soft wings like feathers
teddy bears and rocking horses too
the tree sits in front of the big window.

I tried to describe my Christmas tree.

Snowflakes

The snowflakes fall outside
First snowfall of the season,
A glistening blanket of white lays on the ground
Christmas lights shine so bright.

People walking hand in hand
Through the falling snow,
Enjoy the crunching beneath their feet
As the wind gently whispers, in the ears.

People drive by in their cars
Probably disgusted by the sight of snow,
But the glistening richness of white
Should be putting them into the spirit.

I love watching the first snowfall of the year.

Snow Fall (Dixdeux Chain)

The morning sun, is nowhere to be seen
dark clouds cover the entire city
snow fall.

The frigid wind, whips the snow all around
people can not find shelter fast enough
snow fall.

The white outs bring the city to a halt
through the day, the roads become slippery
snow fall.

Santa's Big Butt

It was the night before Christmas
and all through the house
all the creatures were stirring
even the mouse.

They knew that Santa
would soon be there
they decided to get
an extra large chair.

After last year
Santa was around
he ate so much he
flattened the chair to the ground.

He might look innocent enough
but how can he carry
around that extra large butt?

The time was coming
Santa will soon be here
better get out

the trusty dustpan and broom.

The mice were expecting
to clean up a big mess
one cookie and a mouthful of milk
nothing more, nothing less.

Up on the roof
there arose such a clatter
I ran to the kitchen
to see what was the matter.

HO,HO,HO
oh no he's here
hurry up everybody
and hide the beer.

Down through the chimney
CLATTER,CLANG,BOOM
Santa was here
he had just entered the room.

All covered with soot
from being so fat

we watched him cross the room
in the extra large chair he sat.

He pushed and grunted
his face turned a bright red
"Are you okay Santa?
I see a vein sticking out in your head."

KABANG!
there goes the chair
it wasn't strong enough
and he lost his hair.

The hat flopped off his head
and onto the floor
"Hey Santa, don't ask for cookies
there aren't anymore."

He didn't say anything
just got up and panted
he turned around
to see the damage.

"I think I need to lose some weight

maybe sometime next year
no more cookies, no more cake
and definitely not anymore beer.

Santa Gets Even With His Elves

Santa is trying something different this year
he has fired all of his elves,
he hired a Ninja squirrel
Santa thinks he'll do rather well.

Santa got tired of the shenanigans
his elves pulled every year,
so, he fired every one of them
in his heart, he held them so dear.

There are a lot of things
for the Ninja squirrel to do,
he heard the stories that Santa had told him
and the crap the elves put him through.

The Ninja squirrel ran around
chopped wood in half,
used his samurai sword
and made a tiny giraffe.

Santa said he would have to make more
for the children of the world,
the elves argued with Santa in the background
"Why did you hire that Ninja squirrel?"

The ninja squirrel overheard them
and ran toward them yelling,
punched a few of them in the face
their eyes started swelling.

He flipped through the air
and headed back to his work,
one of the elves stood up
"I'd like to see you try that again, you hairy little jerk!"

The Ninja squirrel laughed
he held a glare in his eyes,
he knew he would have to deal with this

which wasn't a surprise.

He kicked and he screamed
his arms flailed in the air,
he kicked one elf in the head
Santa stood and laughed in the corner there.

Santa was laughing so hard
he almost wet himself,
he knew he had the right idea
when he fired all his elves.

Santa was proud of the Ninja squirrel
he patted him on the head,
left the Ninja squirrel and elves to fight
then he went to bed.

Poor Mrs. Clause

Mrs. Clause runs
through the house,
she's chasing after
a furry little mouse.

She swats at him
breaks dishes along the way,
she trips over the carpet
the little guy got away.

She spent all morning
cleans up the house,
she would be fine
if it weren't for the dang mouse.

Santa walks in the door
"What's going on my dear?"
"GET OUT OF THE WAY SANTA,
JUST STAND CLEAR!"

You should have seen her
it was a real hoot,

she's wrecking her house
and chasing a mouse to boot.

Poor old lady
needs a vacation,
Santa should take her place
so she can go to the train station.

Or, better yet
she should travel in Santa's sleigh,
fly through the air with the reindeer
that ought to make the mouse go away.

Poor woman. She works so darn hard. She needs some time off.

Ode To A Snowflake

Through the air you fall
so peacefully,
I hold a smile on my face
very lovingly.

I love how you shimmer
under the morning sun,
like a little diamond
from the cotton ball clouds, you've fallen.

You land on the noses
of awaiting boys and girls,
they look for that one tiny snowflake
to land on their tight curls.

Oh little white snowflake
so perfect and true,
how, for one day
I wish I was you.

Christmas Is..... (Naga-Uta)

Time for family
remembering our Savior
not about the gifts
it's about the love we share
to think about those
a little less fortunate
and thank God for every day.

Christmas Lights Shine (Septet II)

Christmas lights
hang on the railing
just outside my front room door
the snow shines all different colors
it puts me in the spirit
for giving gifts out

at Christmas.

Grandpa Got Run Over By A Beer Truck (Fractured Christmas Song)

Grandpa got run over by a beer truck
walking from the tavern Christmas night,
he landed face first into the snow bank
let me tell you now, it was quite the sight.

Grandpa drank whiskey and eggnog
then mixed them with some beer,
he was dancing to techno music
and singing with Santa's reindeer.

Grandpa got run over by a beer truck
walking from the tavern Christmas night,
he landed face first into the snow bank
let me tell you now, it was quite the sight.

What will be his excuse to grandma

when she smells alcohol on his breath?
He'll probably say he got into a fight
Santa almost beat him half to death.

Grandpa got run over by a beer truck
walking from the tavern Christmas night,
he landed face first into the snow bank
let me tell you now, it was quite the sight.

Grandpa staggered out of the tavern
he was running into the walls,
let me say, his vision was rather blurred
when his pet doberman bit him in the b@lls.

Grandpa got run over by a beer truck
walking from the tavern Christmas night,
he landed face first into the snow bank
let me tell you now, it was quite the sight.

He had tire marks up his backside
serves him right for getting drunk,
the driver of the beer truck picked him up
and stuffed grandpa in the trunk.

Grandpa got run over by a beer truck
walking from the tavern Christmas night,
he landed face first into the snow bank
let me tell you now, it was quite the sight.
