Wanderings of a Lost Mind
By Dominique Schwartz
Ain't No Super Hero
Ain't no super hero ain't no
robin hood just trying to do
whats right just trying to do
what I can
Lookin round seein all the
sufferin folks with nothin
at all little ones dressed
in rags
While all around them those
with more just walk on by
doing their best to just
ignore them
Lots of words are spoken
lots of promises are made
but when it gets down to
it all it is is more empty
words
But I ain't no super hero
ain't no robin hood just
doing my part to help those
that need it most
Don't know what it is don't
know why it stays like it is
just tryin to do my part as
best as I can
Old ladies sittin on the porch
watchin the world go by livin
off pet food sleepin in the
cold
So much need goes unnoticed
ignored in the hopes it will
go away forgettin that the
sufferin will be there no
matter how much you wish it
away
Beauty Queen
Beauty Queen why do you stand
there laughing at me what makes
you think that you're better
than me
Walkin down the runway performin
like a trained seal turning on
command like some caged lion at
the circus
So I don't look like you don't
have all those fancy clothes ain't
the prettiest one or have talent
same as you
Beauty Queen I pity you up there
on the stage performin like a
trained seal doing tricks for a
reward
I'm no beauty compared to you don't
have those golden locks but Beauty
Queen I don't do tricks for some
