STRUCK BY STROKE

I was a 45 year old, married with three teenage children, an office manager of a thriving business, a gymnastic coach and having a real good life living in Perth Western Australia. When one night I was struck by a stroke that would change my life forever.

It was a Friday night 27th September 2013, it was thundering & lightning outside so I let the dogs in as they don’t stop whining in a thunderstorm. Everybody had gone to bed & I layed on the couch watching the thunderstorm out of the window whilst watching the tv. The dogs made themselves comfortable on the floor. I switched off the tv & soon fell asleep. I am not sure how long I had been asleep for but all of a sudden woke up in the night with the most horrendous headache. I fell off the couch onto the floor where the dogs were. I tried to stand up but just collapsed onto the floor the dogs were doing there best to help me with no success. I tried to crawl to the kitchen to get a panadol but couldn’t move, with that I tried to call for help but it was just a mumble coming
