chapter one - dawns point of view

Hello my name is dawn swan, I am 17 years old, I have black hair that sits on my shoulders, I also have really weird purple eyes and a body to die for, I am short tempered and crazy as hell when I eat anything with sugar, I love cookies especially double chocolate chip. I live with my mamma (sally) and our dog Rupert he is a lab and is ADORABLE!!! Oh yeah I also have a problem with people touching me I can’t stand it I stiffen or punch them in the face


I walked out of my room and down the stairs when I got to the bottom I heard my mum crying I ran into the living room and looked at my mum
“Dawn?” someone whispered I didn’t take my eyes of her she looked heart broken
“Mamma” I whispered she sobbed as soon as I said mamma “What’s wrong?” I said I took a step back and she looked at me and sobbed again
“MAMMA” I shouted this time my voice was demanding but was still soft and genital she looked at me and shook her head
“Dawn I will explain everything in a minuet if you just listen to me” the voice said again it held authority but was still genital as if he thought I would explode any minuet I turned to face him he was tall and had broad shoulders and a stern face he was wearing a black suit and a white shirt and a black tie he had brown hair with brown eyes I stepped back from him thinking I was in danger
“Dawn there is nothing to be afraid of I promise you” he said “I won’t hurt you” he said sincerely I looked at my mamma and then at the paper on the floor I walked over to it and picked it up
“NO” my mamma shrieked but it was too late I had already read it, it was a contract saying that I would have to marry someone I didn’t know when I turned 18 for 6 grand both my parents had signed it I dropped it and looked at mamma
“How could you?” I whispered “Your only daughter and you sell her off” I screamed at her
“We did it to save your life I’m sorry” she said walking towards me I stepped back and she froze
“Dawn?” she whispered
“You messed everything up, my education, friends, boys, because you knew one day I would have to end it all and move away” I realised the truth behind my own words
“Yes” she mumbled she didn’t even look at me
“LOOK AT ME” I screamed at her she shook her head “WHY” I screamed I couldn’t take it anymore
“Because I rewind your life and I can’t face you” she whispered
“Mamma?” I whispered she didn’t look at me “MAMMA LOOK AT ME NOW” she looked then realising I would lose it any minuet
“What” she whispered her voice cracked
“I forgive you mamma you had to do it to save my life I owe you that much” I whispered she smiled and went to hug me but stopped
“Sorry I forgot” she whispered I smiled at her “Dawn you have to pack you are leaving with Mr Wilson” I nodded and walked upstairs.
I packed everything I only filled two suit cases, I grabbed my small bag and put my laptop, phone, I pod, kindle, and skittles and COOKIES of course then I had a shower and dressed in skin coloured tights, short shorts, tank top with spaghetti straps and a hoodie, with my convers then I walked downstairs and handed my bags over well except my small one I held that close to me I walked over to my mamma and took a deep breath and put my arm round her she squeezed me then let go knowing I was uncomfortable when she touched me.
“Bye mamma I’ll visit soon” I yelled as I sat in the limo I had my bag on my lap and as soon as the door’s closed I opened my bag and grabbed a bag of skittles out if it I chuckled an evil chuckle and started eating them and before I knew it I had finished the pack I frowned and looked at Mr Wilson
“Do you….” He cut me off
“No I do not have any skittles and even if I did I wouldn’t tell you where they are” he said grinning I jumped on him and pinned him to the limo floor
“SKITTLES” I shouted he pushed me off of him and opened the door and we got on a plane and as soon as I saw a lady my hand shot up she looked at me and turned around I sat there bouncing up and down and waving my hand like a mad man, the lady rolled her eyes and walked over to us
“Yes?” she asked
“DO you have any coke?” I asked as politely as I could she walked back and two minuet’s later she came out and handed me a coke and as soon as she turned her back Mr Wilson took it off me
“HEY” I snapped “That’s mine get your own”
“You are hyper enough as it is” he smiled I pouted and sat back when we eventually landed we got into another limo and this limo had cookies I grabbed one and ate it then spat it back out I heard Mr Wilson chuckling behind me
“What is that” I spat
“A cookie” he said it like it was obvious
“NO that is an INSULT TO COOKIES EVERYWHERE” I shouted I turned and saw the drinks and saw coke I giggled and opened it and drained half the coke before he took it off me I grinned mischievously at him he sighed and took out his phone
‘Hello son can you put mum on for me good lad’ he said I smiled
He was silent for a minuet
‘Honey can you hide all the sweet stuff please and anything that contains sugar’ my jaw hit the floor he didn’t? No he wouldn’t
He was silent again
‘Because she gets hyper and she is hyper enough’ he stated I glared at him he went their
He was silent then smiled
‘Thank you honey we will be home in 10 minuets’
‘Yep bye love you’ he said then hung up with a smile on his face I glared at him until we stopped he got out and so did I, I glared at him the whole way to the house he turned to face me and chuckled when he saw my face
“Dawn, are you ready to meet your husband?” he asked
“I’m not married yet nimrod” I said still glaring at him he chuckled he walked in to the house and I followed him in he stopped when we reached the kitchen and told me to stay there I grinned at him then he frowned realising what I would do if he left me alone
“Benjamin” he called and a little boy around 10 came in
“Dad your back” he beamed at his dad and I couldn’t help but smile at him
“Yes I need you to watch dawn for me” his son turned to me and his face lit up “Don’t let her have anything with sugar in it got it” he dad said sternly Benjamin nodded and grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the living room I stiffened like usual but he didn’t pay attention to it I heard voices coming from there and stopped
“Come on” Benjamin pulled me forward but I refused to move
“Can we stay in the kitchen I need a drink” I said he nodded and I relaxed he poured me a glass of coke and just as I was about to take a sit Mr Wilson took it and drank it right in front of me I pouted
“HEY” I shouted at him once he finished the whole glass
“You are hyper enough DAWN” he shouted back Benjamin stepped back and his dad glared at him I stepped in front of Benjamin
“I poured it while he was in the bathroom” I stated not wanting to get Benjamin in trouble
“Sorry son” his dad said I smiled and sat down on the chair and huffed
“Henry?” a voice called ahh so Mr Wilson’s first name is henry I smirked evilly at him
“Yes charlotte, I am in the kitchen” I heard footsteps and turned to face the door their stood an beautiful women in her 30’s she didn’t have a single wrinkle and was dressed in a suit just like him she saw me and a smile spread across her lips
“Hello dawn my name is charlotte” she smiled holding out her hand I pulled the hoodie over my hand and shook her hand so we didn’t touch skin she looked confused but didn’t ask I smiled at her politely
“It’s a pleasure to meet you” I said smiling at her
“My son is very excited to meet you” I nodded not trusting my voice she grabbed my arm and I stiffened she let me go as soon as she realised and told me to follow her so I did but I stopped just before I reached the living room
“Dawn come in” she smiled at me I shook my head I couldn’t get my body to move “They don’t bite” she reassured me I couldn’t do it I felt like I couldn’t breathe I was pushed from behind and saw Benjamin he grabbed my hand ignoring feeling me stiffening
“I’m here with you” he whispered I nodded and let him pull me forward I took a deep breath and Benjamin tightened his hold on my hand my breathing evened out and my heart slowly slowed to its normal pace we took two more steps and I was now visible to everyone they could all see me I heard some people take an intake of breath but I felt peaceful it was Benjamin he was calming me and as soon as I realised this Benjamin hand loosened a bit, I looked at the three guys who were staring at me with wide eyes I looked at henry and charlotte who looked happy
“Have I got something on my face?” I asked the boys laughed and Benjamin tightened his hand in me so hard I squeaked in pain
“BENJAMIN LET GO YOUR HURTING HER” someone shouted my vision blurred and I collapsed on the floor suddenly the pain vanished and I took a shaky breath I felt people picking me up and I tried to get free
“She doesn’t like being touched” someone said the person who was carrying me put me on the sofa and I instantly relaxed my vision was slowly coming back so I closed my eyes then opened them I did this 10 times then finally I could see Benjamin was looking at me with pain and sorrow in his eyes and the guys looked shocked
“I’m so, so, so very sorry” Benjamin whispered looking down I smiled at him
“Benjamin it wasn’t your fault you calmed me down and the moment they started laughing it’s as if you knew how I would feel and you stopped it you calmed me down Bennie” I whispered he looked up at me and smiled he hugged me and I stiffened
“Benjamin she doesn’t like being touched” henry snapped I glared at him as Bennie let go
“Err I know that this is probably the worst time but my name is Jayden” he smiled I looked at him confused
“You know the one you are supposed to marry?” he said I sat up and looked at him then at henry he nodded
“Hello Jayden my name is Dawn” I smiled he held his hand out to me so I covered my hand with the sleeve of my hoodie and shook his hand
“Dawn I’m sorry about this but I need to touch your hand for a moment” he said I stepped back from him and shook my head fearfully Bennie grabbed my hand and calmed me instantly “I won’t hurt you” he said taking a step forward I stepped back again horror written over my face he raised his hand to touch my face and I held my hands in front of my face protectively
“What happened to you?” charlotte whispered Jayden grabbed my hand and I punched him in the face
“Crap” I mumbled when I saw him on the floor “I’m so sorry it’s a reaction” I said looking at him he looked beyond pissed so I stepped back instinctively then I realised that I had hit him so I took a step forward to him I deserved to be hit
“JAYDEN” Bennie shouted making me jump “Don’t touch her” he growled I bent down to Bennie level and smiled at him
“Bennie can you leave us alone for a minuet I know that Jayden has a few questions for me” I said I looked at everyone else who was leaving the room Bennie nodded then left I sat down on the sofa “Go on I know you have loads of questions” I said looking at him
“Ok…… why don’t you like to be touched? Why as soon as you saw I was pissed did you take a step forward instead of back? What happened to you to make you like this?” he whispered the last one I sighed
“It’s about time my past court up with me” I whispered I took a shaky breath and then continued to tell him my story “well when me, and my mamma moved into California I was told I wasn’t allowed to date anyone or get too close to anyone of course I already expected them she told me every time we moved but she never told me why, anyway I agreed and 2 days later this boy call Eric got a little too close to me and I told him I wasn’t allowed to date him and he flipped he hit me so hard I was in hospital for 2 weeks in a semi coma but it wasn’t the fact that he hit me it was the fact that he knew I didn’t like to be touched but he would always touch me first I thought he was trying to be funny, but he never let me go when he felt me stiffen, so when I woke up and saw him by my bed I screamed as loud as I could, doctors nurses, my mamma and police officers came bursting in the door my mamma ran to my side along with all the docs and nurses and the police arrested Eric apparently he has been under police watch for beating his last girlfriend within an inch of her life for wanting to leave him, so we moved again but I couldn’t shake it I still felt like he was watching my every move and I still do” I whispered I kept my eyes on the floor the whole time “The reason I can’t be touched is because I had a horrific life growing up, my step dad….. Harper…. He Err…. He like to play with little girls so I can’t be touched anymore I flinch, stiffen or punch them, he got arrested 6 months after moving in with us” I whispered “so that answers all of your questions” I said looking up at him he looked, angry, hurt, and in pain
“You went through all that and only found out today that you have to marry me” he whispered his voice came out horse so I knew he was holding back tears
“Yes and do you know what, I am glad I told you but I swear to god if you lay a hand on me you will end up in the hospital” I said trying to lightened the mood he smiled and then I turned to the door
“You do know that your family was listening the whole time” I asked he, he nodded and I giggled the door flew open and Bennie ran and jumped on me
“BENJAMIN” they all shouted at once he looked at them confused “she doesn’t like to be touch you just heard why” charlotte scolded him
“Bennie is the exception” I whispered they all looked confused “he calms me down yes I stiffen at first because it’s natural but he instantly calms me” I smiled at Bennie he beamed at me
“Err you start school in the morning with me and my brothers” Jayden said smiling
“Ok what’s your name’s?” I asked the boys they both looked sad
“Samuel” said the smaller boy out of the two but he towered over me though he had brown shaggy hair and blue eyes
“Daniel” the tallest boy said he had blond hair and blue eyes
“Err, where’s my room?” I asked everyone looked down “I’m sharing with you aren’t I?” I asked Jay he nodded and I smiled “show me then I want to find my bag” I whined I saw my bags in the hallway and grabbed my small one and pulled out a packet of cookies and grinned I ate all of them while sitting cross legged on the floor I heard footsteps behind me and shot up guarding my cookies for dear life I saw henry walking towards me I grabbed my bag and ran I heard people chuckling and henry was just about to reach me when the doorbell rang we both froze we walked back into the living room and I saw a blond bimbo get on my man I dropped my bag and set my cookies carefully on the floor then I walked over to her
“Excuse me?” I said politely she turned and glared at me
“What do you want mutt” she growled I raise my eyebrows at her
“Excuse me but a mutt is a dog I am in fact a person” I stated I heard Bennie laughing behind me as well as Sam and Danny laughing right in front of me
“Whatever” she mumbled I smirked at her
“Now I suggest you get your grubby hands off of him or I will throw water over you” I said she turned and stood up she stepped towards me and I stepped back
“DON’T TOUCH ME” I said fiercely I don’t think I could handle it if she touched me not after I just told Jay about my past
“OOOOO you scared of physical contact” she sneered she raised her hand and touched my arm I flinched and stepped back but she cornered me tears fell from my eyes and she laughed and raised her hand and slapped me I whimpered I couldn’t defend myself I was scared and frightened knowing I couldn’t protect myself it was like living with harper all over again
“LEAVE HER ALONE” Jayden growled at her she turned to face me
“Touch him and I will make your life hell” she whispered she turned around and I fell to the floor and tears spilled over the flash backs started coming about Harper and when he used to slap me I felt someone touch my shoulder I flinched and opened my eyes I saw everyone looking at me with sad eyes I stood up and brushed myself off
“Please don’t pity me, I don’t need it” I said I looked at Jayden and instantly I needed to get away from him
“I’m sorry” he whispered
“Next time you wanna cheat please don’t do it near me” I whispered and then I looked at henry and he looked heart broken
“Where are the showers and a room to sleep in?” I asked him
“You are staying in my room” Jayden said walking towards me I flinched and stepped back
“You can sleep in my room I have a double bed if you don’t mind sharing?” Danny offered I nodded, he lead me upstairs and into his room I had a shower then I borrowed one of his shirts and slipped that over my black lacy underwear and walked downstairs.
I walked into the kitchen and saw like 10 boys all staring at me I looked down at myself and blushed instantly
“Sorry Danny I couldn’t find my clothes” I whispered he chuckled and pulled out a chair at the table I took a seat next to him and Bennie and the other boys started asking me questions
“Who are you? Are you his mate? Are you like us?” I held my hand out signalling for them to be quiet
“Hello my name is dawn and I’m marring Jayden I think?” I whispered the last part
“Of course you are still marring me” he said looking offended I saw red
“SORRY” I snapped at him “I didn’t know if I still was seen as you where swapping spit with another girl right in front of me” I growled I stood up and so did he, he grabbed my arm and my fist connected with his face everyone was shocked
“I’m sorry” he whispered
“No you’re not you are a player it’s what you do” I stated “And for the last time DON’T TOUCH ME” I shouted Danny and Bennie were instantly by my side
“Jayden” they snapped
“You know damn well you shouldn’t of touched her, yes she is your mate but that doesn’t give you the right to touch her, you know about her past and how much it hurts her didn’t the first punch give you any idea” henry said with authority
“What happened to you?” a boy with brown hair, brown eyes and a square face
“I didn’t have much of a life growing up and yes it has affected me” I whispered turned round to face charlotte “I apologise I have rewind dinner forgive me” I said then sat down Jayden sat down next to me in Danny’s seat
“I’m sorry I really am” he whispered he went to touch me and I flinched “I’m sorry I forgot” he said you could hear the guilt in his voice
“Why do you want to touch me? Let alone marry me I’m damaged goods I will always be” I said he looked broken
“Because you are my mate and I love you” he stated everyone gasped and a tear fell from my eye I closed my eyes and grabbed hold of Bennie’s hand and he squeezed my hand tight I opened my eyes and I shakily raised my hand and touched his face Sam, Danny, henry, charlotte, and the pack watched in amazement as I stroked his face nobody realised how much pain it coursed me to touch him I pushed the bad memories back and focused on him, I saw him close his eyes so I took as much strength in me and kissed his lips softly I pulled back and I let a shaky breath out
“I’m sorry I can’t do more than that” I whispered
“You done amazing dawn” henry said I let go of Bennie’s hand and turned to face him
“He gave me the strength to do it” I whispered
“So the only way you can touch people is when Benjamin is holding your hand?” the boy that spoke to me earlier asked
“For now” I whispered “I know you want to know what happened to me and as I can’t tell you without myself hurting when I go to bed I will allow henry to tell you” I whispered they all nodded and I smiled
“Well should we eat or what?” henry said I smiled at him and turned and saw Jayden looking at me he looked hurt
“What’s wrong?” I asked him the whole table turned to look at us

“Because you told me you love me, the thing is I was once told that when you are shown love with someone you care about then you have to get hurt to make them happy” I whispered “the thing is Jay I DO care about you, you don’t realise how much it hurt me when I saw you kissing that blond bimbo, I trusted you with one of my most horrific memory and secret that I have and the next thing I know your making out with someone else, yes Jayden I was forced to marry you but I thought if we could trust each other then I would finally be able to touch you without being in pain but you ripped out my already broken heart before I could heal” I whispered I stood up and turned to leave everyone had tears in their eyes “So I’m sorry if it was my fault because I wouldn’t let you touch me, I thought if I explain why it was hard for me to love…. to trust….. Then you would understand but obviously I was wrong I shouldn’t of told you so soon” and with that I walked in to the living room and sat down I felt my heart beat slow and I was calm
“Bennie” I whispered he smiled and came and sat on my lap and we fell asleep like that

chapter two - jayden's point of view

Jayden’s point of view
“I felt your pain” I said looking at her I knew how much it hurt her just to touch me why on earth did she kiss me “When you kissed me, I felt how much it hurt to touch me let only kiss me why? Why did you do it? If it hurt so much why not leave it?” I was in pain she looked at me
“Because you told me you love me, the thing is I was once told that when you are shown with someone you care about then you have to hurt to make them happy” she whispered I felt my heart ache “the thing is Jay I DO care about you, you don’t realise how much it hurt me when I saw you kissing that blond bimbo, I trusted you with one of my most horrific memory and secret that I have and the next thing I know your making out with someone else, yes Jayden I was forced to marry you but I thought if we could trust each other then I would finally be able to touch you without being in pain but you ripped out my already broken heart before I could heal” she whispered I was too stunned to even speak she stood up and turned to leave everyone had tears in their eyes but my eyes were only on her “So I’m sorry if it was my fault because I wouldn’t let you touch me, I thought if I explain why it was hard for me to love…… to trust….. Then you would understand but obviously I was wrong I shouldn’t of told you so soon” and with that she walked in to the living room everyone was looking at me tears ran down my face I went to get up but Benjamin stopped me
“She needs time” he said and walked into the living room I fell in to my chair and my head fell into my waiting hands how could I hurt her, she has been through so much and yet she trusted me and told me her secrets how could I have been so stupid I thought
‘you just hurt our mate she hates us’ my wolf whimpered I stood up angrily and the chair fell on to the floor with a slam I started pacing trying to find an idea to make it up to her
“It’s your own fault” Daniel said and walked out I couldn’t blame him I wouldn’t want to be near me I looked at my dad and my mum, my dad was comforting my mum who was sobbing
“I’m sorry” I whispered to them my mum looked at me and I saw her pain as well as her anger
“It isn’t us who you need to apologise to is it” she screamed at me “You have broken that girl YOUR mate” she sobbed I couldn’t take it anymore I walked stair to the living room I heard everyone coming after me but I didn’t care I needed to talk to her, I walked into the living room and saw her asleep with Benjamin holding on to her tightly I kneeled next to their chair and put my hand on her leg her eyes shot open but as soon as she saw me she relaxed I realised this was Bennie’s doing even in is sleep he helps her and I can’t thank him enough for doing it
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you” I whispered she went to speak but I held up my hand “the only reason I didn’t stop Shannon from kissing me was because I was thinking about you only when you interrupted us did I realised who it was it was too late” I said she touched my face and I leaned into her hand
“I forgive you” she whispered
“But...?” I whispered she smiled
“Forgiving is easy trusting is hard you may have my forgiveness but not my trust you have to earn it” she whispered I nodded
“I understand” I said she smiled and pulled my face down to hers I kissed her softly and only a quick one I didn’t want to hurt her I pulled away and I saw Bennie looking mad
“DON’T KISS IN FRONT OF ME” he screamed I laughed and she smiled and kissed Bennie’s head a growl came out of my mouth and dawn looked shocked
“Did you just growl?” she asked me I nodded looking down “do it again and I won’t talk to you until you apologise to whoever you growled at” she stated my jaw dropped
“But you kissed him” I said she rolled her eyes
“He is family” I nodded I turned round and saw the pack smiling at us I blushed and looked down what the hell I never blush I thought all the boys laughed and I rolled my eyes and turned to dawn
“Where are you sleeping?” I asked her she frowned
“With Danny tonight” she said I looked down hurt “sorry but I need time” she whispered
“I understand” I said she smiled and touched my cheek Bennie let go of her and I ripped my face away from her horrified I didn’t want to hurt her
“Bennie don’t” I said he looked at dawn and frowned
“I was trying to help I can feel what she was feeling” he said I looked at him
“I wanted to touch you without Bennie but I didn’t want to be hurt or let you feel me hurt” she whispered I nodded
“Later let’s go eat dinner before it gets cold I said she stood up and pulled Bennie to the table we all sat down and ate my wolf relaxed but was still pissed that I hurt her

chapter 3 - dawns point of view

We were all sitting at the table joking about and eating
“So are you guy’s going to tell me your names or what?” I asked them they all grinned
“Oh my god I didn’t introduce you guys I’m sorry” henry said looking at me “well this is the moonlight pack obviously there is Daniel my eldest son – 22, Jayden and Samuel my twins children – 19 and Benjamin my second youngest – 10 but he is the youngest boy I also have a daughter her name is Arabella my youngest child – 5 then there is the other members Zack, Shawn, Matt, Steven and Abbey they are all 19 or 20 this year Harry, Jake and Michael are all 17 or going on 18, William is our youngest he is 16 and Stephan is 22” I nodded
“So I’m with Harry, Jake and Michael?” I asked
“No you will be an alpha” Jay whispered I shivered
“When you complete the bond that is” Jake said Shawn slapped him round the head
“So what are you?” I asked them
“Wolves” Harry said smiling I grinned
“So does that mean I’ll get awesome piggy back rides?” I asked they all chuckled
“But you can’t be touched” Zack said totally confused
“I can’t do skin to skin” I clarified “that’s why when I shake someone’s hand I have my clothes covering my hand” I said they all looked dumbfounded I smiled I looked at the clock and my eyes went wide we have been talking for ages it was now 10 pm
“Well I’m going to sleep” I said I grabbed Bennie’s hand and kissed Jayden on the lips and then dragged him to bed too.
THE NEXT DAY
I woke up with a hand wrapped around my stomach and their legs wrapped around mine I panicked and screamed as loud as I could the person shot out of bed and I picked up a lamp and threw it at his head he ducked just in time, the door burst open and I saw a panicked Jay standing at the door as soon as he saw me he walked over to me slowly I picked up the TV remote next to me and lobed it at the man who was now staring at me with wide eyes
“DAWN” henry yelled he grabbed me and pulled me out the room
“LET GO” I screamed he let me go and I took a breath
“What happened?” he asked me
“I don’t know I woke up and someone was in the bed with me and they were wrapped around me so I panicked and threw stuff at him” I whispered
“That was Stephan, I’m sorry I didn’t realise he was coming home last night” he whispered I frowned
“I’m going to get ready for school” I said he nodded I walked in to Jay’s room and took a shower then I dressed in my midnight blue lacy underwear I walked out of the bathroom and blow dried and straitened my hair then I walked over to my suit case and got out white pumps black rev trousers a white tank top and a black cardigan I grabbed my new bag and walked downstairs I dumped it at the bottom step and walked into the kitchen everyone looked at me and their jaw’s dropped I looked down at myself then back up at the boy’s I felt calm and I turned round saw hugged Bennie I bent down and picked him up and span him round which made him chuckle I smiled and set him down I sighed
“Jay if you don’t stop looking at my bum as well as the rest of you, you guys will regret it” I smiled I turned round and saw all the boys looking in different directions which made me giggle I walked over to the one who I threw stuff at him and smiled
“I’m sorry” he started to say I cut him off
“My mistake I’m dawn and your Stephan” he smiled and nodded holding out his hand I let my cardigan cover my hand then shook his hand he looked at me confused so explained “I don’t do physical contact skin to skin” I said he nodded though I know he was curious “Did henry fill you guys in last night?” I asked them
“Yes we are sorry…” I cut him off
“I don’t do pity either” I said I smiled and grabbed a bowl and made me and Bennie a bowl of coco pops I was smirking when henry came in he saw me with coco pops and sighed
“YOU guys can deal with her now she’s on a high” he said I giggled and so did the boys I was buzzing by the time we all finished and was messing about with Bennie we played it and I hopped the sofa in one jump and ran Bennie was chasing me until Danny demanded that I get in the car so I sat in the front pouting
“I’m sorry I rewind your game” he said sincerely I smirked and then ying yang ~ Dappy came on and I sang the whole way to school when we pulled up I froze and I couldn’t seem to calm down I looked at the pack and they all looked at me with sad eyes
“What happens if someone touches me?” I whispered
“DON’T HIT THEM” Jayden shouted I tried to smile but failed
“Well I’ll have a look at your time table to make sure you have one of us with you at all times if not we will ask them to change it” Danny said I smiled and nodded I got out and everyone’s eyes went on me for a split second I felt like running but as soon as all the boys crowded me I felt safe and invisible people were trying to look in but my bodyguard’s didn’t let no one see me which I was thankful for we stopped at an office and Danny spoke to the lady and it turned out I had every class with Steven and Matt so they took me to first and I got to sit between them.

I smiled when I read my timetable I loved English and music and PE at brake I met up with all the boys and changed my stuff over in my locker then I went to PE as I had pumps she gave me a big shirt and short shorts as I didn’t have anything to do PE in we all walked onto the field and I saw the boys were playing football but they had all stopped when they saw me
“RIGHT” the teacher shouted “races” I grinned I loved running I walked up to a space and a girl stood next to me “Competition I like it so we have Shannon and our new student dawn to race to see who is faster” I smirked I saw all the boys watching me and I instantly put it out of my mind I wanted to crush this girl “when I say you can start running you have to run to Ryan’s” I saw a girl on the other side of the field “ready……set…..GO” she screamed I shot off and ran strait passed Shannon and was already halfway up the field I counted in my head and kept my breaths even I slowed down and Shannon caught up I smirked and let her get a head of me I let her get about a couple of yards in front and the bolted and caught up to her in a matter of seconds
“BYE!!” I screamed at her and shot across the field and passed the finish line a minute later Shannon crossed the finish line I smirked at her she was breathing hard
“How…*pant*….. can ….. *pant*…. You do that …” Shannon asked me I smirked at her
“I can do a lot of things” I said then I walked down towards the teacher and the screaming girls I smiled at them and shook my head
“Well I never” the teacher said looking at me like I was a double chocolate chip with extra chocolate cookie “you need to try out for the cross country” I frowned
“I’m not that good” I mumbled
“So will you?” she asked I nodded and she smiled for the rest of the lesson we each took turns to race then we had to do 5 laps before we could shower I ran and done all of mine before the girls were on their third I went and showered then I put my hair up in a high ponytail and then walked out of the changing rooms and waited for the boys after about 10 minuet’s of waiting the boys walked out
“About damn time” I snapped they all laughed
“We saw you running” matt said I looked down
“So there isn’t wrong with running is there?” I asked them they all smiled
“Babe you are fast like really fast” Jayden said I smirked
“I crushed Shannon” the boys laughed we walked in to the cafeteria while I went to get my food the boys got a table on my way back to the table I saw a boy looking at me I sat down at my table and tried to eat but I couldn’t so I flipped
“HAVE YOU GOT A PROBLEM” I shouted at him everyone went silent he stood up and walked over to me instantly I stood up and stepped back
“Dawn” he smiled when he saw my face “And here I was thinking that I would never see you again”
“Same goes for me” I spat he stepped forward
“Watch your tone” he growled
“Why so you can hit me again Eric treat me like your pimp I don’t think so” I snapped
“Have these boys made you forget your place” he said stepping forward
“I didn’t have a place in life until now and I aint letting you mess it up Eric” I said firmly he walked towards me so we were now only a foot away from each other
“Back down” he growled
“NO I aint a push over anymore” I growled he reached out and touched me I flinched on the inside but kept a mask on my face I didn’t know that though
“What happened to you?” he whispered he took his hand away from me and walked away I sat down next to Jayden and I slowed my heart
“That was amazing” Jayden whispered I shook my head
“No it wasn’t, I flinched, and you could see probably see the fear in my face” I whispered
“No you didn’t you stayed still and your face was blank” he whispered I nodded and I touched his hand with mine and I smiled when I felt tingles in it I looked up at him for a second then back down embarrassed he smiled at me I felt someone coming up to me so I looked up and saw Shannon
“Hey baby” she said kissing Jay’s cheek I saw red my hands balled up into fists and I stood up
“GET YOU HANDS OFF OF HIM NOW” I growled she turned and glared at me
“Didn’t I teach you a lesson all ready?” she asked me stepping forward I didn’t move in inch
“No sorry I don’t do lessons from sluts” I said smiling sweetly the whole table laughed and some other tables too
“Jay baby are you gunna let her talk to me like that?” she asked him she put her hand on his thigh I grabbed her hair and yanked her off him
“BITCH” she screamed and went to slap me I grabbed her hand before it connected with my face the boys looked impressed
“How many damn times keep your hands off me and MY man” I growled at her
“Your man?” she asked I grinned and nodded “HE IS MINE” she shouted stomping her foot
“Love go shag a player because this one is mine” I said I let her arm go and she walked away I sat down and grinned at the boys shocked faces
“WOW” the said together
“He is mine” I said I looked at Jay and he was smiling at me “You are mine” I said I brought his lips to mine and the whole cafeteria cheered I felt Jay smile against my lips he wrapped his arms around my waist and picked me up and set me on his lap never braking the kiss we pulled apart for air we were both panting I looked at the pack who was all grinning from ear to ear I blushed and set my head on his chest
“God I love you” he whispered in my ear
“I love you too” I whispered he chuckled
“I heard that” he said softly stoking my hair
