Soul like A Black Rose

It was dark
I was young and all I wanted to do was leave
Leave my house walk around feel the cool breeze on my face and enjoy God’s creation
I saw a rose it was different than the rest of them
It bright red
I am so curious
So I grab it
As I stared at it
It got darker and darker
It symbolized my dark soul
My soul is like a black rose.
