Want to dissolve fat over night?
High intensity interval training is a great way to give your metabolism an extra boost, and the workouts are short! Here's how to do one:
1) Warm up with 5 minutes of walking or jogging.
2) Sprint as fast as you can for 20 seconds.
3) Walk for 60 seconds. Repeat this pattern 8 times totals.
4) Cool down with 5 minutes of light exercise like walking or stretching.
And when it comes to nutrition...
He says that his eating habits have changed and now consist of more vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains. He also tries to avoid sugar as much as possible. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is drink half my body weight in ounces of water, said Harbour. The second thing is I will go right into my smoothie, which is kale or spinach, blueberries or blackberries or cherries, banana, strawberries or raspberries.
In order to lose weight, you have to eat. But you don't have to eat what you used to. I was just walking around hungry all the time, until I learned about certain foods. For me it was protein. Protein builds muscle and muscles burn calories faster than fat does, so with more muscle on my body, I was able to eat less and still keep losing weight. I also eliminated carbs at night because they turn into sugar in your system, which can cause cravings. So by cutting out carbs at night, my cravings stopped and I could sleep without interruption.
I always had a large breakfast- something like two eggs or egg whites scrambled with spinach or avocado (even if I was running late), because studies show that people who start their day off right are much more likely to make healthy choices the rest of the day too.
Harbour has been open about his struggles with food and weight in the past, and he says that this time around was different because instead of focusing on losing the weight, he wanted to gain muscle. I just wanted to be able to do my own stunts, said Harbour in an interview. I wanted to feel strong, which is not something I've ever felt before.
