Lou Merriworth had retired from the Owens Manufacturing Company in Natick, Massachusetts of which he dedicated 30-years of his life as an Executive of Order Management and Packaging Production. During that time, he had applied much time and diligence over the years in this prestigious position when all the while he was failing in the attentiveness of his dear wife. Louise's health had deteriorated as her sudden death of congestive heart failure and cancer devastated him. It happened a year before he retired and losing her was the most overwhelming part of his life, he loved her so much. She was the most gentle and kind person anyone would ever want to meet and not only was she radiant, but very strong and a positive woman. Amazingly, how she kept it all together and not once did she complain about her health issues, she just kept pushing along until that shocking and awful evening when he arrived home and found her dead on the kitchen floor.
