“Congratulations Paul on your retirement!” Everyone shouted and applauded. "We're going to miss you!" Greeted by his fellow co-workers who gathered around him as hugs and handshakes transpired.
Paul Coleman was a 60-year-old widower taking early retirement from USAir Care as flight pilot with 30 years of service. Paul suffered some acute memory damage from a severe plane crash six years ago just south of Rio de Janeiro. Doctors stated that there was no critical brain damage due to his memory loss but had to continue his medication to help keep him focused and to add, he had a fractured spine and some vision loss in the right eye. It took two years before his vision and spine were corrected through surgery. His overall condition was stabilized and after seven months of therapy, Paul was doing well and was back in good physical shape.
