Songs of Feliz Ano Nuevo we overhear
Boys and girls dance among peer

No one minds noisemakers queer
Marching bands go forward from rear
Delights and wishes – sheer and sincere
For the year gone by – a single tear

Toasts and parties, nothing unclear
To let it in, all hurry to volunteer
