There are so many little things that we take for granted. Some have a profound effect on our lives and others are a convenience, but in both cases we never give them a second thought, we just assume they will always be there for us.
Modern technology is something we expect to always perform. For example what would happen if the Internet and satellites all stopped functioning. Imagine it you couldn’t access face book, watch television or use your mobile phone. An inconvenience yes, but we could still function. Many would see it as the downfall of civilization, as we know it, but in the end we would find a way to survive.
Same as going to start the car, and it wont go. It could be seen as a major catastrophe, but in the end it just a pain in the butt.
But for one minute what would happen, if you couldn’t dress yourself.

Something as simple as putting on my clothes, and drying myself after a shower became a major achievement.
Try it for yourself, don’t use your left arm, then shower, dry and dress yourself. Finally try and do your shoes up using only your right arm.
It isn’t easy, but it is something we all just expect to do, without any thought of it being a problem.
As for life, we see so much death on the television, that its not given a second thought, and when we see some disaster on the news, we think oh that’s terrible, but that’s where our concern finishes. We all assume that nothing bad will happen to us, it’s always someone else who has the problem.
Everyday we take for granted that we will see our loved ones and friends whenever we want, and never think of a time without them. Even though we don’t visit as much as we should there is this comforting thought knowing they are there whenever we choose to see them.
We all hear of someone passing away, but very few of us think it will ever happen to us.
So what happens when they are not there, when we don’t hear their voice, don’t see them in person, when all that is left is a memory.
This story is about the sudden void that occurs, and although the tears flow freely,
