LIBRA and the Chinese Zodiac.

A Birthstone is the special gem associated with each month. The story goes back to Moses, where it is said the high priest wore the 12 colored stones, to represent the 12 tribes of Israel. Over time people wore their own Birthstone, and it was believed each had a magical power for their wearers.

It is believed the birthflower dates back to the Roman times.

During the Victorian era, the rules of etiquette, made it inappropriate to express ones feelings of love and affection. Thus a language of flowers was created. A gift of flowers, could express a persons romantic intentions. Flowers became a way to celebrate many special events.

Weddings and Birthdays, are the best known.

LIBRA, (The Scales).

September 23rd to October 23rd .

Libra have a natural sense of justice, and despise any form of unfairness. They try to evade conflict, and prefer to look out for the welfare of others. Their popularity can help them to achieve great personal success.

On the down side Libra can be a bit of a snob, and over sensitive.
