"its not over.....its not over..."i whispered."What do you mean its not over?"Joey whispered back in confusion."Duke had a son......Ellen and Bella held out on us.Im not sure if Damon knew...But now hes after us."I looked up at Joey with tears in my eyes.He looked down at me with no hope in his eyes.I picked the phone back up and dailed ty's cell.I wasnt sure if he had it on him or not."Hello?" said a fimilar but diffrent voice."Ty?"i asked."Ya...Sandra??"ty replied."Ya...ummm you still with Damon?"I said in a broken voice."Ya but hes not here right now..Stefan is here though.""Let me talk to him."I said.Joey reached for the phone.Snapping his fingers at me.I handed Joey the phone."Why in hell didnt your wife tell us that they had a brother?"Joey snapped.He was silent for awhile.Then he got angrier."Well didnt you think we deserved to know?!?He just called our house and was threating Sandra!you said we would be safe now but apparently that was a lie to!"Joey yelled into the phone.Joey was silent for a short amount of time."Well if anything and i mean anything happens to her..I'll hunt you down and kill you myself!!"Joey slammed the phone back on the reciver.He looked over at me.Then in the next moment i was in his arms."What are we goin to do?"I whispered against his shirt."Looks like were moving again...I wont let anything happen to you.I WONT!"Joeys voice got stronger towards the end.We sat like that for the rest of the night.Just holding each other.when i awoke i was still in Joeys arms.My muscles were stiff from not moving for so long.I sat up slowly trying not to wake him.I managed to slip out of his hold.I headed up satairs and took a hot shower.When i got out.To my surprise Joey was making breakfest.When he saw me come down the stairs his face lite up."Good morning baby girl." he said cheerfully."Morning."i said.I slumped down into a chair.Joeys cheerful expression turned to worry."Whats wrong?"he said as he wrapped his arms around me."I just dont know what were goin to do.I like it here and i cant believe we have to leave."my voice sadend."It'll be fine...We can come back after this is all over if you want."Joey promised.After breakfest we started to pack.We loaded the car and got in."Where to?"i asked."Im not sure babe."He answered looking out the wind sheild.Hmmmm we need to get far away from here,i thought and then it dawned on me.I remembered the conversation i had with Ty after Kat went missing.She's been talking about this place called Big Cat Cove...I think thats were she went. Thats it."I know were we can go!"I said in excitement."Where?"Joey asked."It's an island where my mom used to take me...Big Cat Cove is the name.Nobody will think to look for us there."I started the engine and started to pulled outta the driveway.I had to slam on my breaks.There was something laying at the end of the drive way.I looked over at Joey.He was staring wide eyed at the object.I opened my car door and climbed out.When i aproached the object i noticed its head was missing.It was a decapatied body.Joey got out of the car and stood beside me.I looked around and found Mrs.Renolds head hanging from the phone line.Just then Damon appeared outta no where."I came as soon as i heard about Dukes son."He said ergently.Joey shot Damon a dirty look."I had no idea...i swear...Ellen and Bella never mentioned having a brother."He looked at us with an apologetic smile."Damon you should have double checked!How could you put Sandra in danger again?!Im gonna tell you the same thing i told your Dumb brother.If anything happens to her i'll hunt you two down and kill you myself!"Joey shouted.I put my hand over joeys mouth."Dont tick him off.Hes the only help we got."i whispered.I turned to Damon."He's right you should have double checked.But its to late for that now."i said.Damon was by my side in a flash movment.He lightly placed his hand on my shoulder.Joey slapped his hand away."Dont you dare touch her!"Joey hissed."We need to get you two outta here."Damon said ignoring Joeys comment.Joey guided me back to our car."Where do you think your going?"Damon asked us."You just said we need to get outta here..so we are.."I answered."No your riding in my car.Its faster and i can protect you better."It was easy to tell Joey didnt like this idea.Me and Joey climbed into the back seat.I leaned my head against his shoulder as Damon raced down the street.Joey wrapped his arms around me keeping his eyes on Damon.Damon pulled into an old abandoned mall parking lot."Youll be safe here."He said meeting my eyes.Joey cleared his throat and Damon looked away.Damon got out of the car and disappered in a flash movement."He is seriously getting on my nerves."Joey whispered under his breathe.He looked over at me.I shrugged and got outta the car.I walked towards the mall and tried the front doors.They were unlocked.Joey insisted on going in ahead of me.the place looked pretty runned down.It had empty lots and trashed stores.Wow i thought somebody must of had a hay day in this place.Joey pulled me close to his side.We rounded the hallway and i noticed Damon.He was leaning against a wall.His back to us.As we approached him he turned around slowly. "Im sorry its not much but he'll never think to look for you here. You are welcome to any store. The uhh owners shouldnt mind." Damon smiled wickedly and licked his lips. I shivered. Damon seemed to noticed. "Is it a bit cold in here for you?"he asked meeting my gaze, still smileing. "No." i replied quickly looking away. Those eyes could melt a girls heart. I blushed a little and heard Damon chuckle. Joey stayed silent. "I hope your not flirting with our guest Damon." said a fimilar voice. Ty stepped out of the shadows. He had changed alot in the past couple months. He was pale like the rest but still had some of his old features. Like the color of his hair and the way his chin was slightly out of balance. "TY!!!!!" me and joey yelled in coarse. He laughed "Hey guys!" he said with a smile. Ty walked over slowly but then Damon got in between us. He held his hand up and placed them on Ty's chest. "Are you sure you have your thrist under control?" he asked. Ty rolled his eyes. "Do you really think im that stupid?" he stepped around Damon and caught me in a bone crushing hug. "c...a...n..t...bre...ath...e" i gasped. Joey shot Damon a worried look. "oops."Ty said letting me go. I shivered again but it was more of a cold kind of shiver. Ty's skin was as icey as Damons. "I just missed you so much!" commented ty smileing again. I blushed. Gosh my checks are on fire tonight. I flipped my hood up hoping nobody saw me blush. "So whats the game plan?" joey asked. "The game plan is to keep her alive. Even if i have to die to do it." Damon pressed with a determained look. Again just like a couple of months ago i saw something flash in his eyes. Then out of no where we heard a loud crashing noise and glass hitting the ground. Damon and Ty turned into flashes of color and then next thing i knew i was being thrown over Damons shoulder."How did he find us so quickly?!?!"shouted ty over the loud screams coming from behind us. Joey had been hit by some of the shattered glass and now had blood flowing from many cuts on his forehead. He was passed out and hanging from Ty's shoulder. There was another yell of anger and then Ty had been jumped on. Joeys body had been thrown across the room from the empact. Ty and the unknown man rolled over on the floor, both snapping at each others throats. "GO!NOW!GO HELP JOEY!"roared Damon. He put me down and pounced on the man. I ran to joeys side and slapped him lightly. "JOEY!CAN YOU HEAR ME???"i yelled. He didnt respond. The stranger managed to slip out of both ty's and Damons powerful grips. He jumped over towards me but Ty kicked him away again. Damons clothes were in shreds from the fight. "Ricky theres two of us and one of you..do you really think you can win?"Damon taunted him. Ricky growled. He darted from side to side and found a hole in Damon and Ty's defence. Ricky grapped Joey by the throat with his teeth,just as Ty and Damon grabbed his shoulders and jerked him away. Joey yelled out in pain but his scream was cut off with a gurgle. Blood flowed from his mouth and Ty got side tracked by the smell. His eyes became hungry. "Ty NO!"Damon yelled as he threw himself at ty. Ricky took this oppertunity to take a few snaps at ty's shoulder. Ty focused again as the stinging from the bites hit him. He growled out in a roar of anger and jumped on ricky. Ricky again slide from Ty's grip and ran for the door. I stood in shock threw all of this.Frozen. I couldnt move.Ty started after Ricky again. Anger rolling off him. "No let him go TY.I think Sandra went into shock and shes our #1 concern."Damon said seriously. I still cant move,i thought. Ty turned around unwillingly. Damon waved his hand in front of my face."Earth to sandra.Can you hear me?"he teased half heartedly."y..ya.."i said slowly.Ty and Damon sighed."You scared me for a minute there."Damon confessed. I looked up at him. his eyes flashed again and then he quickly looked away. "Joeys doesnt look to good."ty commented in a low voice that was hard to hear. I looked over. Joey was beganing to turn white.Hes dead i thought and i bursted into tears. Damon hugged me but even he couldnt confort me. Two hours later we had Joey buried and was headed to Damons house. When we arrived Stefan was the only one home. "hello sandra..you smell lovely today."he said without looking up. "Err thanks Stefan." i stammered. i sat on the floor and then we heard bangging in the kitchen. Damon and Ty went to investagate. Stefan got up too when he heard his brother yell in surprise. Damon and Ty came into the living room wrestling Ricky. Stefan jumped in but Ricky threw him across the room with one swing of his powerful arm. Stefan hit the wall hard. The wall gave out and came crubbling down on him. Damon was inragged. With another swipe of his other arm Ricky sent Ty flying into the other wall and it caved. Just then the ceiling came crashing down and a beam fell on my legs. I yelled out in pain and heard Damon and Ricky still fighting threw the rubble. My head spun.There was another loud crashing sound and the rest of the ceiling fell over me.Everything went black.....

Why wont you die?!?,Damon thought in frustration. He looked around but only saw rubble where Sandra had been sitting. The anger bubbled up inside him. He took another snap at Rickys throat and quickly darted out of reach. Damon headed for his throat again but this time his fangs caught. Damon began to drain the blood from Rickys body. He could tell that Ricky also had his fangs out.After Rickys body went limp.Damon dropped it. Damon licked his lips and began digging in the rubble.He found Ty and Stefan first.They were both still alive of course.Then they all three began digging for Sandra.They found her under two beams and in a massive puddle of blood."Shes bleed to death..."Said Ty in a weak voice.Bloody tears dropped from Damons eyes.Damon never cried because when he cried he cried tears of blood.One of the many curses of being a vampire.Ty also had tears in his eyes."Is it to late to change her?"Damon asked without hope. "No,im afraid shes bleed to much."Stefan said in a low voice.Ty and Stefan helped Damon dig a grave and bury Sandra.Every other day Damon puts fresh flowers on her grave and he has never left that grave site.And he never shall for he loved her with all his heart.......
