I'm just another teen, kind of. I don't like vampires, or the guys who are stuck up and rude. But I've always wanted my first kiss, or my first date. But, the way I had imaged it, it was perfect. To tell you the truth, it really didn't turn out that way. It was more complicated. Like any other girl, or like any non-popular girl, I find other things more important than boys. I'm a thirteen year old, starting middle school. Now I already know what your thinking, shes so young to know what love is. But would it be impossible if you saw him, and that very moment the perfect song played in your mind, then it hit you like a sack of potatoes, you have feelings for him. I guess it sounds like a bunch of child hood stuff. But you'll find out one day. I'll start from the first day I met him, the best day that could of happened. He had just transferd, he was in a lot of my classes. He was doomed when he wasn't in my class. Or he would fit in, then I'd know I wouldn't be able to show him around. But when he entered English, our eyes met. We where locked in a stare, his baby blue eyes mine purple. He looked like he knew me my whole lintier life. By now, he probably did. Every one was talking about my life, and the way I looked. My purple eyes, my strange mixed purple, blue, brownish hair. He came in and sat beside me. During note taking he'd talk to me, witch was something I didn't need to worry about. “ So, uh, I'm Zachery, I was, uh,” he trailed off.
“ I'm Kerry, now what were you saying,” I asked?
“ Uh, can you show me around, be my friend,” he was shy.
My nose came out of my book. Did he say what I think he did, the word” friend.” No way!
“ Sorry, did you say friend,” I asked?
“ Of course, will you,” he asked?
“ Okay,” I said.
He was pretty cute, he had black hair that hung in his eyes. His eyes stood out from all his black hair. We hung out a lot. After English, we were in the hall.
“ Hey! New guy come here,” the basketball team said.
He looked at me, he could probably see the desperation in my eyes, but maybe I hide it good enough. He stared at me, probably thinking. He didn't have to waste his middle school year with me.
“ Go on, it's fine,” I said ready to hang out with a jerk.
Well, I was wrong. He didn't turn into a jerk, he just hung out with them. You could say I was jealous, because in the end I was. He had already been asked to the spring formal already witch was like a month. But the way he looked, he looked sort of different like me. My mother says I'm supposed to have some sort of special power. But now and then my mother fly's off her hinges. She can go a little crazy some times. I had wished some guy would ask me. But as I said, this is not a fairy tail. There is no hero. But one day in English he did what only a hero would.
“ You can't hang out with that dork, let alone date her,” I over heard them talking.
“ Why is it your choice and not mine,” Zach asked, sounding outraged.
“ It's only if-”
