Road rage

Move out of my way, I have somewhere to go.
Your holding up traffic, your going to slow.
Your in the wrong lane, your suppose to go fast.
Im sure you have noticed, that im riding your ass.

Put your foot on the pedal, quit riding your brake.
Your surely a snowbird, I can tell by your plates.
If you just pay attention, and quit picking your nose.
You might just speed up, so traffic can flow.

Your pissing me off, so get out of my way.
Always someone like you, to ruin my day.
I need to get going, as im an hour behind.
And with you in my way, your costing me time.

Some honks from my horn, and a flicker of lights.
If I found you pulled over, there'd sure be a fight.
Your turn signal flashes, but your still in my lane.
What the hell is the matter, are you truly insane.

You finally get over, as I come passing you by.
And the birds went to flying, as we seen eye to eye.
I looked on in rage, and with much disbelief.
The birds we were shooting, had brought some relief.

I never cried

On the day my mother died, I just know I never cried.
I think the tears were there, maybe somewhere lost inside.

The tears have yet to surface, as I think about that day.
Many words still locked inside, that I know I didnt say.

All those years you looked at me, like a transparent piece of glass.
I felt just like a stranger, like someone in your past.

You never expressed your love, how most good mothers would.
But I pretend you really tried, and did the best you could.

All I needed was your love
to help and get me through.
And all this love I needed
I just needed it from you.

Why didnt you ever hold me
the way most good mothers do.
Why didnt you ever kiss me
and let me get close to you.

Why didnt you show me praise
for the many things Ive done.
