The Worse of Dreams

The color of the sky was amber, the earthly shadows blue

One never knows whats yet to come, when a storm is coming thru


The ground shook hard like thunder, the wind brought in the rain

And with the storm came an evil darkness, with much unwanted pain


For moments the earth stopped turning, the sun chose not to shine

Then one by one as stars were falling, earths beauty was left behind


The darkness spread like wildfires, while the twisters stole the night

And left behind were the hopes of many, as dreams were taking flight


Now whats left in this world so doomed, without stars the sun or sky

Is the one and only burning question, the question why oh lord, lord why
