Der Tag als ich ihn sah
war der Tag als alles richtig war
würde er nur an mich denken
ich würde ihm ein Lächeln schenken
ein Lächeln ganz für ihn allein
so würde es immer sein
er ist immer da
seinen Blick in meinen Augen prallen
bin ihm bis in die Ewigkeit verfallen
welch farbloses Leben ehe ich ihn sah.

floating in a universe
I wish I am like I've been
found a picture in my purse
you twined around my heart
my dear unaloyed, unadorned dream
deep, deep and far apart
ravishing moonbeam

All at once

Once I saw you in my dreams
looking at me with a twisted smile
standing there, unfounded, it seems
and I started hoping for a while

Once I saw you standing alone
in the darkness of a silent night
in your golden eyes I've seen the only light
and my broken heart has grown

Once I saw you lying under blossoming trees
with lilac in your hair in the grass so green
your sunlit skin radiant in the summerbreeze
it was the sweetest thing I've ever seen

Ode to the sun

You made the stars shine,
Your soul is the lightest place in universe,
If I look in your face my eyes go blind,
Until they’re done I’ll see beauty,
I’ll see brightness,
You were born long ago with the numbness of an empty life,

Großstadt

Im reißenden Strom des Urwalds, mittendrin.
Ein bunter Vogel, er fliegt allein.
In der Schwebe, und lange, ohne Ziel.
Getrieben vom Strom, untergegangen
versunken im Gewimmel,
gewunden, durch den Urwald.
Die Schlangen, sie lechzen
nach Freiheit.
Im reißenden Strom des Urwalds, mittendrin.
