He couldn’t begin to imagine what it would be like. He’d seem videos. He saw the first colony land. But to actually step foot on another planet? Jared didn’t know what to think. His whole life he’d prepared for this. He was chosen at a young age, only 12, from a mandatory test for school. He’d had no idea at the time how much he life would change from one test. And then his future was set. They trained him; taught him about stars and science… and most of all, how to survive. Now he had to prove them right.
