Letter 1

Dear Son...

You may have heard much about my youth from your mother but there are some I reserved for you.

I see the way you react when you're spoken to about certain doings of yours.

It is fair to react but don't fail to reminisce the caution.

Please learn from my mistakes.

I almost learned too late to pay attention to every caution,

Until I learned from one of my wise teachers, that

One of the counsels of caution is to be very certain that I do not mistake a reactionary turn for a return of common sense.

It is never easy to admit mistakes, but I pray for you daily.

Selah!

Letter 2

Dear Son...

One of my wise teachers said

“I do not consider the machines which bear my name simply as machines. If that was all there was to it I would do something else. I take them as concrete evidence of the working out of a theory of business, which I hope is something more than a theory of business - a theory that looks toward making this world a better place in which to live.”

– Henry Ford.

Remember this that I tell you today,

I have read of men and my reading of them has satisfied me.

Remember this that I tell you, never take pride in what you do,

Instead take pride in the lives that it impacts, no matter how many.

Don’t be mad at Jesus Christ for doing some of the things He did.

He did it to show us that the fig is of no essence if it cannot quench hunger.

Remember my son, no matter how long you’ve had the Bible in your hands

Or have read from it, you’re of no essence if you do not lift a soul.

Selah!

Letter 3

Dear Son...

If you desire the plunders of war, you go to war and bring home your desired plunders.

If you love the comfort of peace, you sit home and enjoy peace.

In either circumstance, your choice will prevail.

Be aware, every war is to someone, a gain and every peace is to someone a gain.

Thus, be careful which you choose because still in either circumstance, 'whatever it takes' may be the cost of your own life. Ask about the four lepers in the Bible if you get confused.

Selah!

Letter 4

Dear Son...

90% of how life rewards you is dependent on how you work on your mind,

the faculty from which your consciousness emerge.

If you don't train it, you may eventually miss your mark.

Like Disreali said "the secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it arrives".

Pray for money to come but more importantly, train your mind on how to use it when it comes.

Don't do like I did when I was growing up like you. I deceived myself believing the maxim that money is not the most important thing in life but I grew up to see that money does affect everything that is important.

Selah!

Letter 5

Dear Son...

I see in you as I do in others, the heart and mind of a warrior.

It is beautiful.

I see your struggles.

Yes, there are times when you grow weary of normal answers.

Those are the critical times in our lives when we require more than "a good advice".

Those are the times we need "action".

But my Son...as I learnt in my time;

Be careful how you act, opinions are very strong.

They shape whatever goes on in a circle.

Whenever you find yourself in a circle, please maximize your 'understanding'.

That is the only way you can align with others.

Bear in mind - Never be a coward.

Letter 6

 Dear Son...

Your questions about my past often excites me, and I really love your curiosity.

Now here is your answer: I took this picture exactly one year ago. Looking at it, it reminds of the words of a great man

Leo Tolstoy.

He said "Patience is the epitome of strength. It takes fortitude to stand still, just as it is a sign of weakness or cowardice to move when you should not".

Dear Son, every warrior must know that bleeding is not negotiable but survival is a must;

Just as pain is inevitable but suffering a choice.

Remember these words always as you fight through life, be always aware that LIFE IS A WAR!

it is a war between the positive and the negative!

God be with you.

Letter 7

Dear Son...

This is an old picture of me reminding me of when I was young.

It also reminds me of what you're going through right now.

I sense from the way you speak and act most times, you've been sitting with some elders.

It is very good my son but always remember;

that you sit with them or hear all they say does not make you as wise as they are,

wait until you have applied them in your life and have had the same results as they have,

then if you are wise, your results will tell.

You see, God put us here for us to make it a meaningful place and to live as mortal men. To do that, we must go through lots of stages. The challenge is, we don't know how each stage looks like and we must have to go through them anyway. But following the steps of those who have completed their cycle, and juxtaposing them with the ones I'm seeing, I've found a profound truth; My son, money doesn't change people. It reveals them. And the humility of a poor man should never be trusted.

Letter 8

Dear Son...

I do not obey status quo very much. As a result, I'm misunderstood on a very large scale.

But that notwithstanding, I do not think I should stop thinking as I do.
What if we all become fearless of circumstances?
What if we all stop being selfish?

What if we all accept each other and teach and correct instead of gossip and destroy character?
Will you loose your breathe if you shared love today?

What if we all succeed?
What if we all do that for which God brought us to earth?
Will the world miss you when you're gone?

I do not know the answer to all of these questions...

but the answers I gave myself made me see a different kind of wonderful beauty in the world.

I will give all I have within my life to ensure that peace is achieved.

I don't know about you but this is my personal opinion.

Letter 9

Dear Son...

Many times the answers we seek are too obvious

But our indiscipline divert our focus.

Understand:

An opportunity to be free is an opportunity to lead yourself and manage instructions.

Every success of yours will rest upon your personal leadership.

Letter 10

Dear Son...

The degree of value you place on something determine the level of effect that thing will have on you.
Some people place so much value on fear without even knowing it.

They do this by being cautious, thinking that being cautious is in itself being wise.
While being cautious may be good, being brave is greater on all sides.

Being continually cautious shuts your eye down on possibilities.

Stop being fearful. Be Brave!
The Wright brothers were brave,

Henry Ford was brave,

Steve Jobs was brave,

Gates was brave,

Every great man you hear was first BRAVE!!!
Every business success is a result of brevity not cautious living.

Letter 11

Dear Son...

If you fell at some point, its called experience.

If you build a bridge at the same point and walk over, its called evaluated experience.

By this time next year, you could be walking over the path you fell on today.

How?

Just build a bridge not with words but with concurrent actions.

Build a bridge over your finances with lessons from the masters of finance,

That is how money will grow for you.

Letter 12

Dear Son...

If a stone had a voice,

it will give a huge shout to every drop of rain after a hot sun!
Many times life is as a hot sun and we are the stones,

Many of those times,

The fresh and sweet words from our friends are the drops of rain.

As usual as it has become, a simple wish "happy birthday"

Is still a valuable prayer to me and I do not take it for granted.

Learn to always appreciate people no matter how little their favors to you might seem.

If it were so simple, you should have been able to do everything by yourself.

Letter 13

 Dear Son...

Something Is At Stake !!!

So many people are wallowing in the misunderstanding of the concept and theory of the word FREEDOM believing it to be the total ability of one to do whatever he/she wants.

Dear Son, study, study again, continue to study.

You may not get the chance to speak on a platform seating with a thousand people,

But you will always, as long as God permits, walk out your door everyday and meet people around you...

Make them your platform.

You see, there is a bewitchment going on everywhere around the world ...

the acquisition of wealth by all means evil.

It doesn't surprise, but you must watch yourself.

Only beware of yourself. Beware of the intentions in your heart.

Your actions may be right but if the intention that inspired it is wrong,

I doubt it makes the actions a right one.

Circumstances will turn your head around,

but if righting your circumstances equals doing evil,

let your conscience be your judge!

Letter 14

 Dear Son...

Just as I learnt from my father’s mistakes, so I want you to learn from mine.

The principles of success do not change, but the strategy of application does.

I don’t know how many white that visited my father land in the olden days but in my time, I see a lot of them.

What this taught me is that the same principles of success you have in Obodo Oyibo are still the same with what we have in our father land that is why an Oyibo man will come here and succeed but most of us don’t.

You may fight this with many reasons but my child;

I learnt from all these oyibo men that you only call yourself a failure because you acknowledge yourself as one.

What you call yourself is what you answer.

Peter began to drown only because he didn’t ever believe he could walk on water.

The same power is at work in you but your fear has kept it quiet.

Wake it if you want, I have lived my life; it’s your choice to live yours.

Selah!!

Letter 15

 Dear Son...

A Glory that arises without a process is A Glory that will die without an impact.

I have seen men, I have lived amongst men, I have heard men, and I have read of men.

In all, the lasting Glory is the one that endured a process.

Tell yourself the truth, are you seeking fame or are you looking for a place to make impact?

Be aware, a cluster of corn stems in front of a house can be flushed away by a flood but a cluster of mango trees can be used to shield the same house from a flood.

Selah!!!
