HOW TO DEVELOP CREATIVITY
According to Webster’s Dictionary, creativity is “the ability to create” and to create means, “To cause to come into existence, to bring into being, to give rise to, to portray for the first time”.
‘Creativity’ means that which “Involves using of imagination in order to create something”.
“The power of imagination helps us to go beyond truth to come up with unique ideas. To be able to check the validity of an idea in the context of reality is called practical thinking.”
Organizations are made up of combination of 4M resources. The 4M’s being MEN+MONEY+MATERIAL+MACHINE. This is the practical/reality approach for production of goods and services. The thinking process is logical and all thinking gets converged. Only one solution seems to be possible.
In addition to these, there is a fifth resource called Time. The time factor is most vital since it is comprising and compelling in each and every stages in the organization. Right from purchasing of materials, machine, operation process, production, distribution, accounting procedures, distribution, research and innovation, time factor is present in all. This means managing the 4M’s, having the Time in the background. So, it implies Management of (Men+ Money+ Material+ Machine+ Time). Purchasing the right material and machine, making the products available at the right time at the right place with right quantity. Thus, simply stated, we can state this as Men Management + Money Management+ Material Management+ Machine Management+ Time Management resulting in productive results for the organization. With proper management, and thought process, there will be efficient and effective results
