The dreams of people are meant to be fun filled fantasy based. That was how it used to be for the people of the world of Cyruic. At least until they let an Otherworlder come and live in their society.
Many times the people were told by thier Elders that to allow one such as this Otherworlder into their society. It would only lead to the destruction of the life they knew and loved. But, as with most people the lure of uniqueness was too much for the citizens of Cyruic to fight against.
The Otherworlder's name was Jenshi, and he was known among his people to be a rather eccentric Scientist who went beyond the mundane realms of science and had no regard for it's boundaries and restrictions. This may have been why he was exiled from his planet and forced to live among the people of Cyruic.
Jenshi was a rather stout man in his late fourties yet he looked somewhere between 25 or 30 years old. This was due to all of Jenshi's experimenting on himself trying to figure out the answer to immortality. This was Jenshi's major flaw, he was obsessed with the concept of living forever.
Little did Jenshi know that he soon get the chance to live forever, but at a terrible cost. This cost would affect not just Jenshi's life , but, the lives of the people on Cyruic.
